From the moment Rob the Driver picked me up from Kidderminster and took me
to my appointment at Kidderminster Hospital on time, showed me how much of a credit he is to E Medical Transport team. I found Rob to be punctual,
friendly and empathic in a time of anxiousness and uncertainty about the hospital tests that I was booked in for. Also, not forgetting Sue who took me back home after the treatment, thank you both for making a difference.

I use E-zec 3 times a week

I use E-zec 3 times a week to go for dialysis. The crews are very good but are let down by control. The only time it seems better at weekend when the control is run up country. The amberlances are very poorley maintained and go into "limp mode" so many times I have lost count. I have waited more than 3 hour for them to pick me up after 4 hours on dialysis.

My husband had to go to Dorchester…

My husband had to go to Dorchester hospital for dialysis from Bournemouth hospital 2 times this week. He is very poorly at the moment and could not go to Tower Park. Both days he was told they would pick him up roughly at 7 oclock in the evening to take him back to Bournemouth. On Thursday he did not arrive back to hospital until 10 oclock. Tonight they did not pick him up until 11.30 god knows what time he will get back to Bournemouth. It is not funny when you have to sit through dialysis for 4 hours and then sit feeling unwell for another 4 and a half hours. When he goes back to hospital he has to have antibiotics pain killer and a lot of tablets not to mention something to eat and drink to wash the tablets down. Dreadful way to treat ill patients and if you try to phone they will not answer tonight we phoned several times and so did the hospital. My husband has been on dialysis for over 20 years and he should not be treated this way. I would like to score 0.

5.30am pick up didn't arrive till after 7.00am

My husband was supposed to be picked up at around 5.30 this morning by E-zec, to reach Southmead Hospital by 7.00am for an operation. They did not arrive at our house till gone 7.00 and the driver said his shift didn't start till 6.00! That seems totally inefficient on the part of the booking team.
We rang twice, first at just before 6.00 and then 6.30 but got unsatisfactory replies. They had details correct about the time he was supposed to be at the hospital, so no excuse and none was given.
As it was, my husband got there so late that his operation was delayed till this afternoon. I did ring the hospital, first to say the transport hadn't yet turned up and again after they had left our house, but had to leave answerphone messages as no-one was available to take the calls, BUT I would not have had to do this if the transport had arrived with us on time.
Very disappointed as the hospital had suggested my husband used E-zec especially as it was an early morning journey.

Care and Consideration Drought

For the second time in 1 month I had to resort to the hospital transport contracted (at not small expense I have discovered) to GWH Swindon.
On the first occasionwhen the female ? driver arrived 2 hours early at my address, I was informed that if I was not ready to go within 2 minutes, that I would be 'aborted' and made to make my own way to my appointment.
I managed to throw on some clothing and on the trip to the hospital I was regaled with various complaints and whinges about the occupation in which she was employed, although she did announce that she 'enjoy my job'.
I was uber happy to be deposited at the hospital.

The second occasion involved the same female 'care assistant' where upon hearing her raves and ranting, I switched on my bodycam in an attempt to capture her totally narcistic an d low self esteem outbursts, which was successful. and will be made readily available to either E-ZEC or CQ which was initially contacted yesterday. 22.4 2023

I have also submitted an online complaint to E-ZEC but reallistically expect no reply following the time delay which allows the 'complaintees' sufficient time to fabricate separate defense alibis.

I have made no mention so far of the 'largish' IC2 male 'security guard' type who accompanied this very obviously troubled assistant and his male's unwanted outburst occurred when I merely asked him if I could ask him a question.....,..his reply...'just get in the chair and then ask me Ok ?'....so caring eh ?

It would appear that my only resort to some address of my complaint will be via NHS UK, whom I shall be contacting 24/04/2023

Should be 0

Should be 0. Disgraceful that the crew couldn’t be bothered to wait 5 mins for me despite telling them I was in the lift on way down. Then had to wait 4hours for another ambulance home. I don’t mind waiting..but not after they were already there & were just impatient

To say that E-Zec are unreliable is an…

To say that E-Zec are unreliable is an understatement. I know that their contract has not been renewed merely extended but they do not deserve to keep it. Scruffy dilapidated transport ambulances amazed that they pass any MOT. You never know when you are going to be picked up and usually arrive late even when booked for operations. Most of their ambulance crew are great with the odd surly one though I gather that they are not very well paid or treated well by E-Zec. Recently they have started to refuse to take escorts meaning that I have then had to cancel urgent appointments, they do not hoist in that when you arrive at a Hospital you are merely deposited in the waiting room there is no member of Hospital staff to ask for a drink or a bathroom visit. Clearly the NEW rule is self invented and would never have been in the contract. They are doing as little as possible and making it near impossible for we much older (75 - 100) to attend appointments. Here in WSM we have to go to Southmead, BRI or Taunton for most procedures, even if you can find a taxi with disabled facilities you are the looking at £100+ which we most certainly cannot afford. The sooner the contract is awarded elsewhere the better.

e zec transport very unreliable

e zec transport are supposed to colllect my mum and take her to her hospital apointments in wsm so far out of 7 times about 2 theyve been reliable the rest are just very unreliable. they either tell her oh sorry we arrive at your home 2 hours before hand and shes not ready as she has medial appliances she needs to change before leaving. or they change there story and say oh we arrive 1 hour before and some time which usually is the case never turn up at your door so she has to then ring the hospital to cancel her appointment's making her look bad.as we speak theyve just arrived to collect her about an hour late hopefully she will make her appointment but it seems with this company they dont now what punctual means. also its not like she has any other option i dont drive rest of our familys decided to abondon us and more far away theres no other transport service other than taxis and they wanted £40 upwards just 1 ways from our home we cant afford to do thats she used to do taxis years ago when she was in and out of hospital cost us a fortune and we went bust with things going on now and the government destroying the economy and fuel prices we defo cant do taxis now. hopefully e zec can get themselves in gear and do better in future because we dont have any other option. i put down the 12/10.22 as the date of experience as i cant remember the dates they failed to collect her as thats her stuff not mine but given i have to sit the sidelines and watch her get walked over felt a trust pilot review is needed to voice our concerns so the date of the experience isnt a bad ine this review is for the ones they failed to collect her or turned up real early expecting a diasbled person with a stoma bag to just get in the back of the van like theres no tomorrow before getting her self ready.
