Software is UNUSEABLE on M1 Mac !!!
Software is UNUSEABLE on M1 Mac !!!
Keeps crashing literally every 5 minutes of use and support is absolutely worthless and simply stop responding after a few crashes.
This is AFTER they flat out lied about supporting the "STL" file format which they have finally gotten it into their software !
And yes I have everything the LATEST version including my Mac and Eagle.
As for why they get such great reviews on trustpilot it's because they offer discounts for posting great reviews so I wouldn't trust any of the reviews on Eagle on here at ALL !!!
It is certainly unethical what they are doing but to follow it up with terrible horrible support and simply ignore you after crash after crash and sending them the logs is UNFORGIVABLE !!
Thankfully I paid with Paypal and will most certainly be asking for a chargeback as they are GARBAGE
As for their "response" they only responded after I contacted Paypal asking for a refund. Pure garbage unethical company . Stay away if you value good products or ethical software as these guys are NOTHING OF THE SORT. After all this do you think they offered to refund me ??? Of course NOT !!!
This is the number ONE sign of a ripoff crooked unethical company...Do NOT give them your money
BTW
I tested the software on my Windows computer and GOT THE EXACT SAME RESULTS SO IT'S GARBAGE UNIVERSALLY

Best asset manager app I've ever used!
Probably the best asset manager out there that covers 90% or more of the most commonly used file types so it practically replaces Finder on mac. I'm not a designer, but it allows me to get a rough sense of what working files are sent to me for reference before passing it on to the right designer.
The categorisation/organisation capabilities such as folders and unlimited subfolders, tags, smart folders with fuzzy search and filtering, and the list goes on. It's kinda like a organisation freak's dream come true in a simple, performant app that feels like it works as quick as your brain and intentions.
One last thing: This feature isn't marketed often but it allows right-click saving of Instagram post images, which is a HUGE time saver vs inspecting the source code or using the browser dev tools.

Perfect solution to manage libraries of multimedia.
What a great app. Beside being a real time saver, Eagle also has many other features that make managing photos and videos much easier. I was using an online curating app and it was doing a fantastic job. However, it doesn't organize photos like Eagle does. It also is limited to photos only.
For years, I have been looking for a solution like this. I even thought of writing my own app and connect to S3 to manage the media, but that endeavor seems easier in theory than it is to implement.
For the measly price, this app is a steal. Support is also on point and very timely. I am glad I ran into this app during the LTD Black Friday sales.

Makes my life so much easier
I hesitated before buying yet another DAM app, however, Eagle.cool really excels at showing all formats of digital assets stored on your computer. I used to really struggle to find my Affinity Photo/Publisher/Designer projects that I had done in the past, but Eagle.cool provides an excellent on screen visual display that makes it so easy. This really was worth the money that I spent on it.

Great app for organizing content
Great app for organizing content! The app surprised me with its amazing design; it had almost every feature I had hoped for. The price seems reasonable for its value. I especially appreciated the integration between the Chrome extension and the ease of use when exporting Pinterest boards.

Truly a diamond in the rough
Truly a diamond in the rough. In a world of endless subscriptions, Eagle goes out of its way to offer more features at a lower, non-subscription, price.
This app is very useful for all types of work. It doesn't matter if you're a designer, photographer, filmmaker, developer, motion graphics artist, Eagle will help you organize your assets.
It will allow you to connect your databases to the cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive etc.) to have a synced database between multiple computers. Even if you're just a casual internet user, this is a great app for organizing websites or things you find on the internet.
The metadata features are deep and rich, the video player is actually GOOD. All in all, a great software and I recommend it to anyone I can.

How I switched from using Apple Photos to using Eagle for photo management.
I am a big Apple fan. You can easily say, a true fan of the company. In terms of software, I hardly ever leave the ecosystem. When you purchase a computer, everything you could possibly need is pre-installed and operating flawlessly. I appreciate simplicity, and I strive to apply it to my work as well. These would be commercial films, music videos, etc. in my situation as a director.

The pitching process takes up a significant portion of the effort; in order to succeed, you must provide a well designed pitch deck that captures the idea and best expresses it. It's challenging, especially if you're not a designer like me.
There are great options nowadays, most of which online, where you can search for visual materials… but those are curated places and at the end everyone are using the same places for their visual research, so their decks looks generic. I am not a fan of that. There should be something on a personal level and for sure visuals that tell who you are, what your work represents.
There are lots of fantastic options available nowadays, most of which are online, for searching for visual resources... However, those are curated places and at the end everyone are using the same images, so their decks are generic. That doesn't appeal to me. Something personal should be included, and there should be images that convey who you are and what your work stands for.
I've been gathering visual materials for years, and my primary picture manager for this is "Apple Photos." I adore it utterly. There is nothing more to add; it is straightforward and simple to use. It simply works! However, every time I have to make a deck, I waste a lot of time looking for the proper colour palette. And every time I arrange the deck, just as it is about to be finished, I have to go back and modify the images because they are in the wrong palette. Annoying as hell! Though I tried to accept the procedure, I eventually grew accustomed to it. People can adapt to nearly anything, as is often said.

Then a funny thing happened. I bought a second hand still camera and was playing around with it. Doing the usual image processing and got to a point where I wasn’t really happy with my old friend “Apple Photos”. Probably got tired of it. Same application, nothing new and exciting. So, I guess, I was hungry to try something new. Probably because of the new still camera. I had such experiences rarely, as I said before.. on such gut feeling I’ve ditched all Adobe products and now using small applications from indie developers for my day to day work essentials. So I did a bit of testing with different apps and this is how I found Eagle.

It's lightning fast, simple to use, and remarkably similar to the Mac OS X equivalent. It is integrated with my Safari, so whenever I like an image anywhere I just double-click it and send it to my library. From literary everywhere online. There are probably a million different ways to use the app, but I really appreciate and adore the colour pallet search. As I've previously mentioned, I wasted a lot of time while developing the deck looking for the appropriate photos in terms of colour and even adjusting images to fit a palette, but that has all changed today as it is in the past now. Because a straightforward search tool returns a large number of photographs that precisely match the palette I'm looking for!
Simple as that. I got re-born in what I do with my day-to-day tasks.
Bye, bye, Apple Photos, hello Eagle!

The search is over
The search is over! I test-drove Eagle, on the recommendation of a trusted designer. After watching a YouTube tutorial that really explained the concept behind the database, I was able to set aside my concerns about duplicates.
I started adding images, tagging them and then linking them to my latest project. This process is so much more organized than fiddling around with folders, forgetting where I downloaded my assets and wasting time trying to devise a naming convention for dozens of images.
I promise that, if you take the time to understand what's really happening with your images, you're going to love the efficiencies, organization and wealth of features that Eagle provides.

The best app to manage & organize photos!
What a wonderful and easy way to have all your images in one place! Eagle is one of the apps I wish I knew earlier. It really makes my job easier. After using Eagle, my productivity increased tremendously. I really like all the features Eagle provides me. It’s such a delightful experience to use every day and I don’t think I can ever go back again. Before using Eagle, I had all the images on my computer drive, searching for an image was super difficult. Now everything is very organized.

Miracle App
If you are a designer, architect or in creative business then you must know the struggle of keeping your assets organized. With every project, collecting reference images and assets, creating a huge pile of data to organize for the creator. Over time this pile getting so messy and big that it becomes impossible to navigate through all your files. This is where Eagle App comes in the picture. It can basically organize whatever data you have and let you search through them in a blazing fast speed. It has so many good features for filtering, organizing and keeping everything safe ( password protection etc. ). But it is not ending here. I believe one of the most important feature it has is extensions for browsers. Previously I was saving everything on the desktop or in a folder. But this process is first; creating a huge pile of files to be organized later, and second takes so much time to save every piece one by one. When you use the extension it directly saves inside the app so you no longer have to organize them later. You can even drag and drop the files from eagle app into illustrator directly. And because it is inside of the eagle app library you dont have to worry about later for missing files. And you can export in different file formats and dimensions as well. It can handle so many different file formats that you would be surprised. All in all Eagle App is an amazing tool for any creative who is struggling with keeping a tidy work environment. I can recommend this app to everyone! It has a 30 day trial and one time payment of ~30$ with lifetime updates is an amazing value where every other developer is switching a subscription method. Just go and try it yourself and explore all the features it has and enjoy the peace it brings!
