🏆 Great offline tool for managing your digital assets.
📦 I am a developer and use it for organizing my links to the articles and libraries.
🌳 And I can version everything in Git.

Came across this app by someone randomly mentioning it on an online forum. Needless to say, I tried it out and am in love with it. It’s fast, has a ton of awesome features, and provides support for previewing file types that Windows cannot.

In addition to the desktop app, The Chrome extension works well and is a nice touch.

Only complain is that I wish there was a native mobile app and/or responsible web application that could be used to save/access files. Pretty minor in the grand scheme of things though.

I highly recommend this app if you’re a designer or even just enjoy researching/collating images you find/create!

I'm still seeing all the advantages of having Eagle Cool, beautiful, practical, incredible software that makes my daily life easier. I save hours of work with Eagle cool. I got to know the software in an Eder Xavier 3D class. Thanks to all the developers of this wonder.

Perfect for life perfect for work.

For the first time in my life I bought an application for work. A special attitude towards a person is already felt on the web page of the Eagle application.

I've been working with images for 10 years, I used to sort references by folders. I've always dreamed of having a tool that will help structure all the images, as if Marie Kondo came and told me where everything should lie and how to do it.

And my surprise was so strong when I first worked in the Eagle application. It is clear how much everything is structured, convenient to use. And most importantly, you can save a lot of time searching for the desired image in the system and save the image directly from the browser. in

There is also a small personal life hack, which I often use when images are not in the right format for working in Photoshop (web format). I save the image to Eagle and use the internal library to get it in the format I need (left mouse button - show in finder-png). I figured that this action saves me 15 minutes a day. For a week of work 75 minutes, for a month 300 minutes. And this thereby gives me the freedom to do what I usually don't have enough time for - for myself.

This is simply the most feature complete, fast app that I actually trust to work for a long time forward.

I can easily share entire libraries with others by putting them on a drive, and search through so many thousands of photos without any performance issues.
Being able to move away from [another product now mainly on cloud] and store my photos here is a true game changer in the best possible way. I am blown away. Right now my only challenge is syncing my library with my iPad, making me carry my laptop around more

Wow, wow, wow! These three words only start to describe what my experience is with Eagle. There’s definitely a ‘before’ and ‘after’ period for me; before I had hundreds of file locations on various hard drives, with all sorts of images. I use images all the time in my daily design-job for websites, ads, flyers etc. I had to search for minutes to find one image. Now, after categorizing all my images in Eagle App, I have all my images, documents and fonts in one place. Tagged and categorized I can search by keywords or category, it’s a breeze! My life has become so much better after installing Eagle! Best app ever!

Eagle keeps getting better for me! After a couple of years of using Eagle I decided to go full in. Now, my database of 500,000 images is safer and my over-thinking, over-active brain can rest. No matter what happens next, ar last my images are safe and organized!

I have Eagle on two external hard drives for safety and also on my desktop. The one on my desktop is the lean and mean one for current projects.

I read and reread the tutorials and get nuggets of new ideas every time. Don't forget to refer to them in non-panic times ;-D

Well what can I say...when i discovered Eagle (version 1) my lengthy search for the perfect image storing database device was over. I store my images, tag them and neatly organize the images in 28 folders and it helps me tremendously as a moodboard/inspirational-research tool for my work (and hobby projects) as a writer & musician. Well, any creative work will do. It's just fantastic. I wrote this review because I heard Eagle exists for 5 years now and have 200k users. I'm one of them. A proud one.

I've been looking for software pretty much exactly like this for a long time. For a creative who collects a lot of reference material, this app is excellent. It's amazing on macOS.

The app itself is part of my mandatory tools as a designer, without this tool for organizing my thoughts, I would honestly be woefully unequipped to perform any kind of creative thinking task.

Browser-based idea boards (you know which ones) can't hold a candle to the usability of Eagle down to folders and tagging, this thing is the first program I recommend to all my junior designers when they start in the field!

And I am honest here, Eagle does EXACTLY what you would expect, does not crash, has handy browser integration. It is simple to use yet powerful.

Using it since 4 years never felt the need to find something else to stock my inspiration.

I am so glad this tool exists. I have been looking for a tool like this for years and have not been able to find anything like Eagle. I even tried to make my own at one point. I am an illustrator who likes to be inspired by art I have collected in the past, and use lots of reference when making a new illustration. Eagle makes this easy to do by having an amazing gallery and a randomizer feature. I hear many people complaining that Pinterest does not have a randomizer - try Eagle! You will not be sorry!
