No hassle. Received an offer in the mail logged onto the computer to verify it was approved and within minutes I was done. They contacted the other loan company paid my loan off. I was done. Everything was transferred over to Earnest.

False advertising and scam
Totally a scam. The rates they claim aren’t true. They call and text and email and call and text and email continuously then when nothing works they send an offer with as low as 3.99% interest rate but then you check your offer it is 7.71 the lowest, higher than your highest interest rate student loan.
I am not sure when and how it becomes 2.79 or 3.99% but definitely it didn’t work for me. Checked twice on their interest rate estimator and once after they sent me a personalized offer. If you guys don’t know how your rate estimates work why are you wasting your resources and our precious time? Who on earth would be such an idiot to change their relatively low interest loans to higher interest loans? Not sure who stands behind this idiocy, definitely a scam. If it was a legit company they wouldn't harass people continuously with their spam calls and emails and texts. Wouldn’t ask for your cellphone, email and citizenship status. So fed up with scammers since I moved to this country.
