I should've looked at the reviews before ordering. My order has been stuck at the "label created" stage for about 2 weeks. I emailed and they said they had a lot of orders but that still doesn't explain why it's taking this long. I ordered about a month ago. I doubt they'll send anything. Also, when I first ordered they auto put my on a monthly plan. I had to cancel that. I'm going to try to get my money back.

Awful experience. Like others said, I was taken in by the Instagram ads of having a more eco-friendly lawn. I ordered two bags of seed (about $80) on March 7, 2026. Eight weeks later, I'm still waiting for my order. I have sent countless emails to their customer service team and get the same excuse as others mentioned: "we're a small family business trying to keep up with a lot of orders." I have asked to cancel my order several times and they either ignore what I say by sending me an auto-response or say that they can’t refund me because my order was packed up on a pallet, waiting to ship. They even created a shipping label weeks ago to give the impression that the order was on its way. But UPS tracking has had “label created” for weeks now. I can’t believe this business hasn’t been shut down. It’s so obviously a scam.

Ordered seeds in March. Got an email confirming the order and then a week or so later and email with a tracking number. But UPS indicated that the they never received the package. Earthwise claims that its UPS's fault. Earthwise is clearly a scam. Do not do business with them. There is no product. I asked for a refund. They told me that was "against policy". I have filed a complaint with the BBB and NJ Attorney General's office

Do not order. I had the same experience as so many others. My order was stuck on ‘shipping label created’ for weeks. When I contacted the company, they repeatedly said the order was on the way. I ultimately disputed the transaction on my credit card. This company is a scam.

I recommend avoiding this company. They have a tendency to not ship the items ordered and do not respond to emails or inquiries submitted through their website.

careful ordering from Earthwise Seed Company. I placed an order on April 4, was charged immediately, and heard nothing for almost two weeks. When I followed up on April 16, I was told my items were “ready for shipping.” A few hours later I got an email saying my order had shipped but UPS shows no package was ever received, only that a label was created.

I emailed the company and got no reply. I’ve called their 800 number repeatedly and no one picks up, so there’s no way to resolve the issue or request a refund.

Between the fake shipping notification, the charge taken before confirming stock, and the complete lack of customer service, this has been a frustrating and misleading experience.

Do not order from this company. My order has been stuck in the “created a shipping label” process for over 3 weeks with promises from their AI that it was ready for pick up by USP. Can’t get anyone on the phone. Can’t get a refund. They charge way too much. Already got the same product somewhere else for a fraction of the cost.

Ordered seeds that weren't shipped. After a month, I inquired about them, and the response was they would process them immediately and send a shipping confirmation. Eight days later, I've still not received a shipping confirmation.

Hard to review a product that has not arrived.

Order has been placed a month ago, has not shipped and I have not heard back from my inquiries as to when it will be sent. This feels like a complete scam. Save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere.

VERY POOR experience ! Earthwiseseed will take your money then life becomes a "wait and see" game about if and when you will ever see your order arrive. They excel in repetitive excuses and empty promises ... Please heed the truthful warnings of other customers - do not patronize this company. STILL WAITING FOR MY ORDER

It's been 12 business days since my order and no signs of it shipping... I want to get these seeds planted before the temps get too hot but it appears that it's going to happen.

So, I guess I'll join the throngs of other dissatisfied Earthwise Seed customers over their inate inability to ship orders in a timely fashion. I ordered $170 worth of product a month ago and have heard absolutely nothing on status since the obligatory thank-you form email after the order went through.

Update: About 15 minutes after posting the above review and sending an email stating basically the same things, I got a return email from "Jim" stating that the order had suddenly been processed and a UPS tracking number was provided. I see others have had similar experiences and still didn't receive their orders! I guess we'll see soon enough if it's legit or not.

3/31/26 Update: FINALLY got my seed order! UPS dropped them at my door at 9:30pm last night after telling me they were out for delivery since 6:30 am. I had quite honestly completely given up, but I now have them.

Fair Warning...BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS ABOUT DELAYED SHIPPING! I doubt very seriously that I would have received my order at all if I hadn't complained on here as well as on their website.

They used to be a reliable company, but now have joined the ranks of fraudulent web based scams. They will take your money but not deliver product and delete information about your order from their site. DO NOT SHOP AT EARTHWISESEED!IT IS A FRAUDULENT SCAM!!!

This place is a scam I ordered some seeds and some talc for $80 and it took weeks to arrive once it arrived the entire talc bag was open and all over the package I asked for a refund but they said I had to return the damaged package, I agreed since it was unusable, they never sent me the label. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

I have reached out 4x and each time they apologize for not shipping my items and then promise it will go out the next day, or monday etc. Each time I get the same email.I have been waiting for over a month. I am so disappointed. I ordered the seeds for fall planting and they never came. I am now seeing all these other reviews and will request a refund from my CC company as I DO NOT trust this company to ship my items at this point. Their customer service doesn't even appear to be real, it is almost like a bot response. Stay away from this company.
UPDATE: they finally shipped my items 5 weeks after repeated emails, threats and calling my cc company to cancel the order.

Placed an order in 10/10. Received empty promises of shipment. Promised 11/13 "..ship it out first thing tomorrow."still nothing. And now no more responses to emails. Now the weather has turned and my hopes to start my lawn early, are dashed. Wish I saw these reviews earlier

I placed an order on September 30, was charged the money, and after hearing no updates, contacted them to cancel the order (about $130) for a refund 10 days ago.
They cancelled the order - but have still not refunded my money. Mind you, they were quick enough to charge me.
I'm about to report them to my bank.

I HIGHLY ADVISE YOU STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. I waited 40 days from my order of $300 to no word about my order. So I asked for a refund and got no one. The moment I disputed the charges with my bank they send me a delivery confirmation. It’s BS, at this point I don’t want any business with this company and just want my money back

So, I love the concept. I ordered. Never received the seeds. Lots of "we're busy" responses to email inquiries. Finally disputed transaction with credit card. Public response was to send the seed free. email to me was 50% off. These guys are scammers. Buy local. Walk past this crap
