Sold my Infiniti to Easy Auto recently as I just upgraded to a new car. Just a super easy and hassle-free experience. Sales team were up front and no funny sales stuff. Money was in my account within a day. Would 100% recommend!

Lachlan was a terrible sales man

Lachlan was a terrible sales man, constantly checking his phone replying to people while I am dealing with him. Lachlan was very unprofessional and shouldn’t be in a job role like this.

Your stereotypical car yard

Be careful of these guys, they are subject to change the prices of their cars based off the interest received, the car you might see and be ready to go view for "x" amount is subject to change in price, while not illegal this is piss poor practice and shows no business ethics, only prioritises greed over customer service, if this is the level of ethics they bring to the table one has to question what its like to do business with them. Perhaps learn how to value a car first to avoid future embarrassment.

Highly disappointing customer experience

Highly disappointing customer experience. Poor customer service and poor commercial decision-making.
This terrible experience has a long story behind it, but it can be summarised as follows:
1) Staff members were unable to locate the vehicle I had first asked to see and test-drive.
2) Being left to wander myself with the instruction to scan the QR codes for details and that he staff member would come and find me when free. Half the cars had no or erroneous QR codes, and the staff member hadn't come after an hour.
3) Pressurised questioning to assess whether I was a viable / genuine customer who was likely to buy.
4) And the most frustrating, being told that a manager had decided that there were "too many unknows" about me and so I wouldn't be allowed to test drive a car I had finally found and liked. I.e. I was a bad risk / low likelihood to buy. The reasons were that it was fractionally above the budget guidance I had given the staff member, that I was considering 4 different models/brands, that I had already test-driven a car elsewhere that morning and said that I would test-drive others if I didn't find what I was looking for.
5) The above point was all the more frustrating as the message was a decline, without any attempt to make the 'unknowns' known. When I asked to share my feedback politely and constructively with the manager, he agreed to come out of the office space, and then proceeded to walk straight past me and his staff member without any acknowledgement, deal with 2 other separate customers, before eventually coming over and saying, "Hello, is there anything that I can help you with?". There was.

Sadly, I was a genuine cash buyer. I left EasyAuto123 in Kendra and immediately contacted the other dealership I had been at to purchase a vehicle right then.

Disagreeable

Viewed a Honda HR-V HEV 2022, Red, $32,990 on Friday 10th Jan and put down a deposit the same day with the agreement that the vehicle would be paid in full on or around the 24th Jan.

Pros
- Arranging an appointment was very straight forward and easy
- Showroom experience was excellent
- Friendly and knowledgeable service
- Went through options, products etc. thoroughly and answered all questions
- Extended the reserve period
- Online deposit process and deposit contract process was straight forward

Cons
- Advert stated drive away price but there was an addition cost added ($206)
- Advert stated that the vehicle was undergoing extensive safety check, later told that this does not happen until the contract is signed (as standard)
- Very persistent with pursuing a signed contract for the remaining balance of $35,000+ with addition products
- Continual persistence regarding the contract whilst I was obtaining insurance and product quotes, due diligence checks etc.
- Feeling pressured with a deadline for the contract, at which point I explained I have dyslexia and ADHA – two full business days after the verbal agreement and deposit paid, and eleven days prior to the completion of the sale
- Refused to add an additional special condition – Subject to satisfactory service/ inspection e.g. no issues raised
- Ceased/ withdrew from the sale with ten days remaining before the agreement completion date

I asked if the checks had been completed (so I would have comprehensive information about the vehicle being mechanically sound etc. I anticipated/ expected this to have happened, as indicated on the advert, and the subsequent conversations with the manager and sales rep). I said that I would sign the contract but wanted to check the vehicle within the 24 hour cooling off period. The response was:

“…These (service and dent removal) have not been completed yet as we have not received the signed contracts back from yourself. As part of our policy, we do not start any work for the vehicle until signed contracts are received and usually, full payment.”

“…Our usual process is we require the contract to be signed within 24 hours… however without the contracts signed and sent back this evening I will be unable to continue to hold the vehicle… If/when signed we will organise for the dents and service to be completed.”

I then offer the alternative solution of signing the contract with the inclusion of the special condition – subject to satisfactory service. The response was:

“…Unfortunately, we would not be able to adjust the special conditions of the contract currently in place. As mentioned previously we are unable to continue to hold the vehicle without signed contracts. We will re-advertise the vehicle and refund your deposit in full.”

My response “Very disappointing decision/ response to reasonable and responsible requirements and needs”

And Joe’s final word on the matter “I disagree, however I am sorry you feel that way.”

Ultimately Joe (the manager) most likely felt justified in his decisions and actions, and I felt justified in my requirements and requests and therefore we came to an impasse rather than an agreement to complete the sale, Joe being ok with withdrawing the agreement because of not getting a signed contract within his timeframe, and me being ok him withdrawing the agreement because of wanting buyer confidence and security when signing an important legally binding document concerning such a large amount of money. I realised after the viewing that I needed not only verbal assurances but also fact-based information. I have viewed and purchased all of my previous vehicles that had already undergone their pre-sale checks etc.

I stand by my logic, common sense and instinct.

Have purchased before with no issues but this time I made an appointment for 10am and arrived five minutes early. The sales person was not there at the allocated time and I was told by the lovely counter staff member (very professional) that the sales person would be there soon. I went back to the counter at about 10.30 and was told she would find another agent for me but it would take 10 to 15 minutes - I had to be elsewhere, ironically to attend an appointment I didn't want to be late for.

Bought two cars - 1st misrepresented to get a higher value

We bought two cars through the Canning Vale branch in 2019 and 2020. The colorado was great, misrepresented the model though as we found out later, hence the higher price, onsold the insurance package which didn't cover squat when we tried to claim something that wasn't working within weeks of purchase, however we still have it and it's a nice car and we're still happy with it.

Then, I got my daughter an ASX ex lease vehicle. The car had issues with the steering pulling super hard and the steering wheel was not straight. We asked them to fix this twice within days of the purchase which they said they did, but it was still the same. We ended up taking it to a mechanic in South Lakes who fixed it, obviously at a cost. That said, the car still is going beautifully and my daughter still loves it.

I just don't know if I trust them enough though to go back. I am looking at another vehicle, but given the misrepresentation of the first one and the issues not being rectified with the second, I don't think I'd go back nor recommend them sadly.

Quality Luxury Vehicle with Professional Sales Process

I recently bought a low kilometre 2020 Camry V6 SL from easyauto123 at Blacktown.
We talked with Darryl Taylor who handled the sale. Darryl was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. There was no pressure during our visit. The Camry was a luxury vehicle in top class condition with the latest features and was a pleasure to drive.
The whole process was fully explained and throughout the process Darryl was happy to answer all our questions. We felt comfortable talking with Darryl and were very happy with the decision to purchase the car.

If I could give it 0, I WOULD.

If I could give it 0, I would.
They (apperently) spent 2-3 months fixing the black smoke from my old Mercedes 150,000km piece of $&!*. It was never fixed at all, as all the black smoke returned after 3 months. Sadly we were leaving Qld, otherwise I would have driven it through their building & demanded a refund. Now I cant even get a Road Worthy Cert, hence cant even sell it. $13,000 down the toliet. Ohhhhh, so I got all the extended warranty for an extra $$$$$, but guess what, none of the black smoke is covered by that.... their GOLD FULL WARRANTY -more like the rust warranty! Want to go buy from them?

Avoid!

Avoid! If I could give 0 stars I would.
Like many of the other reviews here, I had a terrible experience at Hendra. Long story short, the car was sold to me without the '101 quality verified, mechanical check' they say they do on their cars. False advertising. I requested the report as stated on their website and was sent the safety certificate? Asked again and was sent a pre-ticked list. I returned the vehicle 3 days later as it was blowing black smoke. When I arrived they had it out the back for about 2 hours and after I said I have to go, they said they didn't get enough time to look at it, so I had to return a second time, and pretty much got the same answer, only this time, they said all is fine. Took my car elsewhere for a mechanical check for peace of mind and a list of items came up needing replacement, including the fact they sold the vehicle to me with a service due, which they refused to do before I took the vehicle. So I had nothing to go by mechanically, after paying $25K for the car. Terrible customer service, or lack there of, they really don't care about anything else other than selling the car and getting the cash. They claim to mechanically check all vehicles, but they clearly don't. Would highly recommend an independent inspection if you really want to buy from there. I drove out and noticed the car felt sluggish, took it to a service station and checked the tyres, they had around 23psi in them, they required 33psi. On collection, the car was dirty and dusty and I when I mentioned this, I was told because I didn't pay the '$188 sanitisation fee', that was the reason it was like that when I collected it? I did not take out the extra 'protection plan' with Easy Auto123, I'd rather take my car elsewhere to ensure I know its mechanically sound, after all they just want more money from you. I will be making a complaint to the ACCC also, for the false advertising and my general experience with this Company.

Beware of Overpricing and Discrimination at the Brisbane Store

As a foreigner with a strong accent, I felt taken advantage of during my experience at the Brisbane store. They tried to charge me the same price for a 5-year-old car as they would for a brand new one. When I pointed out that a new car costs the same, they justified the inflated price by saying I'd have to wait six months for the new car. While that may be true, it hardly justifies paying $10,000 extra for a used vehicle.

I eventually found another car at a more reasonable price, but the issues didn't end there. When discussing a financing plan, the finance representative appeared to have little understanding of how interest works. Her responses were unprofessional and evasive, and she even went so far as to suggest that no one else would offer me financing because I was a foreigner.

Fortunately, I was able to purchase a brand new car with a proper financing plan from another dealership. I would advise anyone, especially foreigners, to be cautious when dealing with this store.

Waste of Money and Time

We bought a Honda Civic (9+ year old) from EasyAuto123 Castle Hill (they closed the showroom now) with their so called "mechanical protection" plan to cover in case of issues with the car. They mentioned it will cover everything as it is an comprehensive kind of plan.

- I cannot get it serviced through any other dealers except their partners else mechanical protection will be void.
- They do not have any Honda Service center as their partner in NSW.
- It had a weird issue reporting PASSENGER AIRBAGS ARE DISABLED kept coming after few weeks and their so called Partner never could identify the issue. Not sure why did the sell a car with this security loophole. I am still running with the same error and a insecure feeling after 1.5 years.
- I got an issue with the engine where it started leaking oil and their PARTNER said it is not covered in the protection plan, so I had to pay from my pocket.
- Partners (non Honda) treat the car as Stepfamily, like they are forced to work on it. They don't even bother to make a Job card unless they are getting some money. Happened to me couple of times, where they never had the car entered into their system, when I explicitly got a booking confirmation from them.

This entire system is fake and making customer fool. I am never going to buy another car from EasyAuto123 in future.

We found them to be dishonest, abusive and untrustworthy.

Avoid these people at all costs, in our experience they should not be trusted! We road tested a near new Polestar from their Cannington location. The salesman assured us that the faults we noted would be fixed; these were three minor paint blemishes, minor damage to the wheel rims and scheduled servicing. We said that we had other cars to look at and would make a decision later. We decided not to proceed and let them know. However on reflection my wife said that she was interested in the car. She asked for a quote on finance and was asked to pay a holding fee of $500 to secure the car (meaning that they would not sell the car to anyone else while my wife decided), she paid what she ahd been told was a refundable fee. The finance quote from EasyAuto123 was not very good and we decided to work with our bank which could provide a loan for almost $400 per month less over the same period. When we contacted EasyAuto123 to ask for vehicle details (to discuss with the bank about secured vs. unsecured loans) they emailed an unsigned contract which did not include the work which they had promised to complete, it did include an extra $126.36 for sanitiser pack which was not asked for or disclosed to us. We were not prepared to sign it. I called the salesman who denied that he had made any promises about work being carried out, I repeated our previous conversation verbatim but he continued to deny what he had said. He said that the car was being sold on consignment, that is was a good price and that the work would not be carried out. I indicated that we would not proceed with the sale. I phoned the sales manager to ask when the money would be refunded, he became abusive, would not let me finish a sentence and said that money had been exchanged, the holding fee should be considered as a deposit and consequently the sales contract was legal. At no time was the sales contract signed or accepted. He refused to speak to me but said he would speak to my wife - presumably because he thought that she would be easy to bully. Who would pay more than $50,000 for a car that was overdue for a scheduled service. He refused to refund the money and insisted that the unsigned contract was legal. He then offered to complete the previously promised work if she would buy the car. My wife decided not to do so because she felt these people were dishonest and untrustworthy. Having studied reviews for this business, it my opinion that that many of them are suspicious, I should have searched for complaints rather than reviews. $500 is a very expensive test drive. If I could give zero stars I would, this is a company to avoid and I wish that we had done so.
