Excellent service overall. Although I ordered from outside the UK the whole experience went very smoothly and results issued on time. I was kept informed at every step of the process. Special thanks also to Chantal who was always there to answer my questions.

I highly recommend EasyDNA for legal DNA testing, they were very helpful and prompt with my queries. The tests were delivered quickly and results were received within the 5 working days. Quick, easy and affordable.

*Update after company reply*
Thank you for the reply. I stick by my initial review as 1; your product is not fit for purpose for all dogs, and 2; the negative feedback I gave for the service was not directed at the company being unresponsive, it was directed at the fact that I explained how the product does not work and the best you could do was provide a refund minus $28 - that's extremely bad service in my opinion.
And in response to your offer for me to buy a new updated product - two weeks ago when my product did not work I asked is there any other more user friendly product available, I was told No. And now all of a sudden there's an updated product available that works better? Bad form. It's very simple, your old product didn't work and a full refund should have been supplied.
End.
Original review.
I ordered an allergy test for my dog who is quite scratchy. The test kit is not fit for purpose. It is basically a plastic syringe with a cotton tip which you have to place in your dogs mouth to extract saliva. I placed in my dogs mouth for 20 minutes on two separate occasions, and there was still not enough saliva gathered for them to perform the test. When I explained the situation to customer service they said they can refund me - minus $28 for admin. Very bad product and even worse customer service.

My first animal allergy kit arrived incomplete so I had to ask for another test. The website states that you'll receive your results within 3 weeks. More than 3 weeks have passed and I still don't have my results. When I complained, they just said that in their 12 year history they've never been late with results (although there are other complaints online about the same thing) and that the timeframes are illustrative only. Their terms on the other hand state that they will endeavour to meet timeframes for delivery of results. Very disappointed as I've wanted the allergy results asap and the company have not given any justification for the delay and are unwilling to commit to any date of giving the results.
NOTE: Another lie in their response, they received the sample on 13 April (not 16 April) and sent the results on 9 May (not 7 May). It's a company built on lies.

Do not recommend. The worst customer service ever.
I ordered food allergy test and food suggestion report. After they receive the sample from my dog, they emailed me saying that the food suggenstion report was only available in US so they refund me. Then, in the next email they said they mistakenly refund full price to me so asked me to pay back using a link. However, the link did not work so I sent an email asking them to look into it. Then no replies for days so I sent email again. I got reply with rather angry tone which saying "we already refund you and we need you to pay us back". first ignoring my previous email and then this. so rude.
also, in the manual which came with sample collector suggested to wait 48 hours to 14 days (which is ridiculously wide range) if your dog takes steroid medicine. so I waited 48 hours. but in the account page, which can be accessed only after they received your sample, says wait at least 7 days. So inconsistent.
Conclusion. Don't use this company

Ordered a DNA Breed testing kit for my dog - came through the post quickly and got the results in good time - however the results were laughable...
Considering my dog weight 5kg - they have advised me that my dog is made up of 3 other dogs all at a minimum 3 times the size and weight of my dog and look absolutely nothing like him!
I have sent two emails now regarding this and not had a single reply. Absolute waste of money and obviously do not care about the sham results they give out... and now I am going to have to go elsewhere to get accurate results... avoid at all costs!

The results for my dogs allergy test were comprehensive and more helpful than any vet visit we've had to go to in our quest to try to work out the issue for our dogs constant itching and runny nose reactions, for this reason I've begrudgingly given 4 stars, because the weight off my mind after such a long journey means a lot to me and I found the detail of the results very helpful.
However, there were many frustrations in the process of receiving the results. Your site should not boldly claim '2-3 weeks to get results' and your employees should not be surprised when people email in after that point wondering where the results are, in fact they should expect it. For your response to be that it's in your terms and conditions that it can take longer, and that it meant 2-3 weeks from when the sample is received (it took 2-3 weeks for my sample to be received alone). As in that case, you are grossly misleading your customers on the face presentation and wording on your site. People part with their money because of the flaunting 2-3 week initial claim and they plan their dogs health around it, waiting for the results before they can make changes and improve the dogs quality of life.
If it was going to take longer for reasons out of your control that would be understandable if you had been the ones to inform me of any delay, instead of waiting for me to contact you weeks past the promised time.
Communication was very poor and always initiated by myself, and there were a lot of excuses on your part that overshadowed an apology and human understanding. All you needed to say is, it took longer for reasons out of our control, we should have informed you sooner and we apologise for this.
Please improve the communicative part of your process in future.

I ordered a food intolerance test. Results as says on the website supposed to be within 5 working days. i have been waiting 9 days now.I contacted them several times via email and phone and was told the same. The lab is in the UK and they are extremely busy. I never got any msg that there would be a delay with my report. the customer care not helpful at all. They were telling me the same story every single day.I would not recommend the company .I am afraid it is a scam and won't get neither my report or money

Appalling service: Said Microbiome results would be delivered within 20 working days, but they arrived 2 months later. Analysis is outsourced to an Estonian company (Genorama LLC) and insight is basic/limited.
Continued pathetic denial of any service problems from the company, so I've raised a dispute with my bank.

Appalling service and the rudest representative I have ever encountered. I tried to order an inherited disease DNA pack for dogs unsuccessfully online.
I requested 2 call backs which never happened.
I rang the number myself instead and it was answered professionally by a courteous lady who told me that the tests were comprehensive and per dog, not per individual disease test. She was very helpful and offered to send me a link to order the generic test as the site was not working.
As the link didn't arrive in my inbox until later, I suspected it would not arrive therefore I rang again and the call was answered by a man with an abrupt, 'Hello?', I said 'hello' back imagining I had rang a residential number by accident and he repeated his abrupt, 'Hello?'
I had to just continue hoping that it was indeed the easyDNA company representative (as he failed to identify himself as such) and I explained I was trying to order a test for my dog and was unable to do so online and had not been sent a link as promised by his colleague.
This man told me that his colleague was in training and told me wrong information. He said that an initial test is £49 and further tests are £20.
I said I was confused as online it said further tests were £25 to which he replied he 'cannot be expected to remember the prices'.
I told him I wished to purchase the tests relevant to a cockapoo and he told me to speak to my vet.
I already know the tests I wish to purchase due to the kennel club recommendations so I have no need to see a vet.
He told me to get a DNA test elsewhere then. I asked him why he was being so rude and he said he wanted 'to end the day on a high' and that I was preventing him to do so and then hung up?!
I can only imagine that he acted in such a way as he was working remotely due to Covid so felt he could take such a nasty approach to a total stranger as he was not under the scrutiny of an office or of having recorded phone calls.
I am utterly appalled. I genuinely wanted to order the tests and was in no way rude or difficult to warrant being spoken to in such a manner.
Easy dna told me I was having a boy - when it came to my 16 week ultrasound, I was actually having a girl.
I was meticulous about sanitising the room and my hands etc. The sample was not contaminated.
Sham company.

The whole reason I used Easy DNA was that it was UK based and offered results 3 days after getting the samples. Although after receiving the samples you get a email to explain that this does not count as a testing day as they have to send them to the lab.
Which ultimately meant I got the results latter than I expected.
I just feel like I’ve paid extra for a 3rd party to do what I could have done direct to another company
