Unfortunately during Covid 19 we are facing a situation with regards to our logistics that is changing almost on a daily basis. Whilst we have managed to continue process our multitude of samples worldwide with minimal disruption, however there are certain times where we just cannot do anything about the delays. It is a pity that you did not get to experience our best service levels even though as stated earlier the delays had nothing to do with us. At the end of the day, we did offer a refund because at EasyDNA UK our clients' satisfaction is always paramount.
Great dna testing service
I used this company because they offered a separate address service which was required for us being city’s apart, they kept us all informed all the way through every process from start to finish, I would have no problem in recommending this company to anyone requiring dna testing

It is so good to know your dog's ancestry! We opted for the hard copies as we don't have a printer. You get a nice certificate and details of your dog's likely health problems and characteristics. Well worth the money, which we thought was very reasonable for such a service.

My experience was pretty good to be honest!
I ordered my home kit online and it arrived promptly in plain packaging.
Took my samples, sent them back and received back an easy to understand set of results.

Unprofessional, unorganized and slow turn around.
Purchase my prenatal paternity test 4 months ago, still not completed mostly due to Easy DNA. The baby will be born soon and I will be missing the birth. Firstly there are offices all over the world but where I purchased my test from, had absolutely nothing to do with the actual kit delivery or testing. I had to call long distance to the USA and UK for help with my issues. It started with parts missing from the test kit. Had to wait for the fathers swabs an additional 2 weeks to be sent. Thankfully I was diligent in keeping on top of whats going on after this and in trying to ensure the kit was correct this time via email. Additionally EasyDNA staff I spoke to found some required documents were incorrect/missing with kit before I mailed it. I had to scratch off/ rewrite case numbers and print out new documents that were not included in the kit. Lastly the actual DNA test was put on hold 5 days or so for payment issues for the blood draw. Of which I was not notified, I had to call and email to ensure everything was being processed which it wasn't. Now they are stating I could have went to any facility to have the blood drawn of my choosing, so why did they delay my test further? Seems quite obvious that the facility they recommended would not have drawn the blood if we did not pay, yet the samples were taken. Anyway the test all was paid for on my side in person initially, which I provided receipts to easy DNA. In the end to not further delay and fight with EasyDNA, I had to request a refund from the facility and pay Easy DNA online double the price of what the clinic charges.
Most but not all of the people are rude that email you, and every time you email, a different person responds. So you have to re-write your entire dilemma every time. Even now the have replied to this review with incorrect information and playing the blame game. This is how they treat customers in emails as well. I was and still am beyond frustrated. The test is supposed to help people not cause more stress. Avoid the headache, I do not recommend. Go directly to a DNA facility as Easy DNA is just a middle man of sorts and not a good one.

We value all comments from our clients however in this case we do not believe the facts of the case are being portrayed correctly.
You ordered a Combo test and both kits were dispatched containing all that is necessary supplies to perform the tests. There were no missing items or paperwork in them. Each kit is double-checked by our quality department prior to shipping as we know how sensitive these cases are.
Once the kits were received, you had to use one of the kits to take your swabs but in error you sent the wrong kit to the mother. So of course there were no swabs in the other kit which does not require the father's sample. Clearly this is not a missing item or an error on our part and caused delays in the testing.
Despite this we organised for some swabs to be sent over to you to assist you with this situation and help progress the test, something which is not mentioned in your review and which is part of the reason for the delays.
In addition, delays were also caused by your refusal to pay the samplers who we suggested you use to collect your samples. There is nothing on the website to indicate that this service was included in the fee - in fact it is stated in the FAQs that there will be an additional cost for the sample collection. We patiently explained this several times on the phone and email. Another delay that was not caused from our side.
Finally, with reference to the testing - from the two kits sent in one of them, unfortunately, failed the QC checks. Since these are sensitive tests the samples provided have to be up to the necessary standards to be used by the laboratory. We have also explained this in detail and advised on the next steps required, which will require recollection, to conclude this case. The faster this is done the faster we can conclude your case.
Our customer service team has always been at hand to respond to your questions and try and help with all your issues and have been polite and professional at all times. Over the years we have successfully processed thousands of cases per year and have many positive reviews about the quality of our service as testimony.
In the meantime, our team is still at hand to assist you with your case which we hope we can conclude soon.

Twins identical test
Fantastic fast service and results even more fantastic, present for our twins 18th birthday are they identical and to find out they 99.99999991% a question they asked for years. Excellent communication from company would highly recommend.

Be careful . . .
DNA ancestry style report bought for me by my partner as a present - she paid around £130 and had checked with the company what we got for that. Instructions and communication initially very good. Then got an email to say I had to pay a £50 ‘Release Fee’ to get the results. This made me suspicious, I challenged it and said if I found out this was a scam I would report them to Trading Standards. Then got an email quickly after to say this fee would be ‘waived’ Hmmm . . .
Actual results look ‘scientific’ but just told me I was in a certain group which migrated to Europe from Middle East/Asia about 25,000 years ago and that many European men were in the same group. Not exactly stunning then for £130. Not the ‘x% this, x%that’ which we were expecting

As we cannot identify your case it is very hard for us to comment specifically on your case. We can however confirm that we do not have a 'Release Fee' as you stated. What we have is a re-activation fee that applies for cases where the purchase is made but no samples are sent for over three months and therefore the case is archived. This fee is clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions which would have been agreed to at the time of purchase. If this was the case then we had every right to charge the fee but chose not to in this case it appears.
With reference to the actual ancestry test, we have a range of such tests and we do have a test called GPS Origins that actually provides a percentage figure for each region found in one's genetic pool. On our website, we provide complete information on each test and also a copy of the results so that clients can see in advance what they are ordering and make sure they are ordering the correct test. From your comments, it may appear that perhaps this was the test you should have ordered.
Whilst it is unfortunate that your partner's experience with EasyDNA was not to their satisfaction, we can assure you that our team constantly strives to provide the best experience possible as can be confirmed by the large number of positive reviews from our satisfied clients.
