Rude Customer Service
Rude Customer Service, poor service and they took money before a subscription fee was to be paid, causing the bank fraud department to freeze my card.
worst service, still awaiting for product to be delivered
The worst customer service experience I have encountered. Still awaiting goods ordered two months and everytime I enquire you get fobbed off by rude personnel with the same response that it is out of stock and will be delivered soon, like the following week, and after two more times of the same excuse, decided to complain online and the excuse this time is 'system upgrade' cannot attend to my request. I wonder how many standard excuses do they have to keep you guessing but I suppose I have to accept the reality that I have been scammed. How are the company able to continue operating after such numerous complaints and evidence, I really do wonder.
Just looked on here after receiving…
Just looked on here after receiving shoddy goods and unsettled to find so many bad reviews though not surprising. Quality of cabinet ordered was so cheap looking and had to be assembled with poor instructions will now keep an eye on mam's Bank account as well!
DISCUSTING FRAUDULANT COMPANY
My dad ordered two armchair covers From Easy life . My dad checked his bank statement a month later and he had £76 taken out of his account , he rang Easy Life and the lady on the phone said he had signed up to a book club, gardening club and another one which he knew nothing about . The money was refunded when he finally got through to someone. A month later the same happened and a month after that £18 was taken by Easy Life again . This is a complete scam and fraud by using customers bank details (Without permission) from a previous order he made and saying they have signed up to all sorts of things when they haven't and debiting money from peoples accounts when they know nothing of it .From reading many other reviews this has happened to so many people . Absolutely discusting company . Avoid at all costs
ROGUE COMPANY .. PLEASE BEWARE!!!
I previously purchased 'snail' capsules from Easylife as they had been recommended by my therapist for my arthritis.
Unfortunately, they made no difference to my condition.
A few weeks ago, I had a cold call from them re my purchase, and after some discussion, I agreed to try 'snail' patches but received magnetic patches as I was advised they may be more appropriate. I did mention that I had used magnets in the past. I was given contact details - Alistair on 0800 151 2466 should I have any issues.
The patches duly arrived after £124.93 was paid from my bank account.
The patches would not adhere to my skin ( I do not wear any creams or lotions ), so I contacted the given number and left messages on 1st July.
No response!
I then contacted the customer service number which was on my invoice later that day, but was advised that they could not help .. it was another department!! .. but that someone would get back to me!
I had the same response when I emailed their help line on 4th July.
I left another message on 6th July ... I am still waiting for a return call.
I am now confident that this is a ROGUE COMPANY .. PLEASE BEWARE!!!
AVOID
Purchased something over a year ago. I keep receiving calls at least twice a month from them, which I never consented to. With every number I block, a new one pops up. AVOID PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM HERE!!!!
Same thing happened with my parents…
Same thing happened with my parents £18.50 be then taken the £69.99. Absolute cnuts and what the hell are our dozy police doing about this? Equally useless
More fraud from Easy Life
As with a previous customer, Easy Life (with whom I had no dealings for over one year) fraudulently took £69.99 out of my account. When I discovered this 6 days later, I telephoned for an explanation and instant refund, to be fobbed off with a pathetic explanation that it was to do with a gardening club promotion through their rewards club and I was given me a number to ring. Needless to say it didn't exist. A few days later I received a letter from 'The Gardening Club' welcoming me to my 'free' trial for 2 weeks, with the information that £69.99 will be (not 'has been') "charged to the most recent card used to make purchases from our group companies." So, without authorization Easy Life has been sharing my bank details with other companies and causing me several days of panic and anguish, plus 2 visits to my bank. I have now managed to speak to someone from the Gardening Club and am awaiting the promised refund. My bank has blocked any further dealings with Easy Life.
They took out of our bank account…
They took out of our bank account £69.99 for nothing that we had ordered. Contact with them is impossible.
We are now talking to the Derbyshire police.
Taken £ 70.00 from my mums acciunt
Taken £ 70.00 from my mums acciunt. No idea why. They will be getting a call tomorrow and I want every penny refunded. Disgusting company
***AVOID***
I am disgusted how this Company can get away with calling those who have in the past made purchases and trying to get them to agree to a scheme which (as in my case my Aunt) people are signed up for agreements they didn't even agree to! My Aunt agreed to receive a Catalogue in the post with a supposed £10 off Voucher "just to look at" and because Easylife already had her Current Account Card details from purchasing Masks not so long ago, they literally took £18.50 out of her Account as of 9th. June '21. I was with her yesterday when she was trying to discover what they payment was (after she'd obtained a Bank Statement) and she called Easylife whilst I was with her (I managed to trace the transaction). All they agreed to do was to cancel future payment requests. I am so disgusted I will also be contacting the Company personally because as POA I have a duty of Care for my family member.
This company is absolutely disgusting…
This company is absolutely disgusting hounding my 84 year old mother by phone and post they have somehow managed to draw money from her account after being asked several times to remove her from their mailing list and actually blocking her card but some they have still managed to take at least 2 payments one of £17.99 and another of £18 although she has been in touch the bank all they are telling her is that sometimes they slip through the net this is not good enough she is now scared to answer the phone and dreads getting her mail with more harassment. PLEASE AVOID YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
CRIMINALS - STAY WELL CLEAR
This company, unknown to my 89 year old mum set up a monthly payment from her credit card. Unfortunately as she is fairly independent, I have only just discovered this. At least £300 stolen by these criminals preying on vulnerable and elderly people. How low can they get? As for the people who are working there, they know what is going on and are part of the scam and should be prosecuted as such.
UNWANTED JUNK MAIL-EASYLIFE CATALOGUE
I have been trying for over a year now to cancel all the booklets etc that get sent to me by post. Every time I get one now I return it with the sender paying the postage. I sent an email two weeks ago AGAIN and lo and behold I received ANOTHER brochure yesterday. What do you have to do to get this company to understand I do not want anymore booklets from them. Think of what all this junk mail is doing to our environment. They clearly are only interested in making money. Would definitely not recommend them.
Avoid like the plague
Mum with dementia ordered an item by phone. Three days later got parcel of books which luckily she rejected. A few days after that she had another parcel left on doorstep with eight more books and an invoice for £30. The company had signed her up to a "book club" and used her card fraudulently. She does not read! Had to stop her cards, and spend ages trying to calm a very distressed old lady! Customer services at Easy life have agreed refund, obviously knowing about their company and its sharp practises. How many other old people treated like this with nobody to help. Appalling behaviour, completely indefensible. Trading standards are being informed.
I wrote a review about this evil…
I wrote a review about this evil company before! They phoned me and went on n on about a supercard trial which I didn’t take seriously and then ended up having around £60 taken out of my account even though I already cancelled!!! Today they rang me again and tried to interest me with three different trial offers that I had to find the number and cancel before them taking around £79 from me and another trial for £60 something and another one which I can’t remember how much for and he was talking to me like I was gonna just agree but I said no no no politely to each one, but I’m still worried they’ll sign me up anyway!!! Really infuriating!!!
My Mother in Law made a purchase 9…
My Mother in Law made a purchase 9 months ago which was fine. Then this week had £70 come out of her bank after a phone call from them a week or so again. She went to the bank and then called Easylife and they said she signed up for a Gardening Club, she is 77 with NO GARDEN. When she called them they said she signed up. She did not sign up. What concerns me is they keep her bank details on file without permission GDPR issue here , which I think I will report. Disgusting ripping elderly off

Robbing my 80 year old dad! Signing him up to scam promotions!!! Over £70 last month and over £60 this month. Some people won’t even notice they are being robbed luckily his statements are checked. Taking advantage of our most vulnerable there nothing but scum.

I would avoid this company if I were you, they give you things you don’t want and they won’t take no for an answer. I wish I never did business with them now.
Should be locked up with that…
Should be locked up with that 'Supercard' scam. Particularly when their customer base is mostly vulnerable OAP's.
Disgraceful.
