I now see that Easylife has replied to my review. After digging around on your Company I can see that your scam has been going on for years. It was reported to WHICH back in 2021.I know for a fact that my Father did not sign up for any subscription as I checked his order form when he ordered some items in your brochure.
So anyone thinking of making a purchase should research your Company first and make up their own minds.Seems strange to see so many bad reviews like mine regarding money being stolen from accounts once you have the Bank details.Seems to me that the Easylife business is just a way of obtaining Bank details.Once you have Bank details the SCAM begins.
You don’t care about the Stress and Worry that you put old vulnerable people through.
To the people thinking of buying anything BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!
Easilife do not buy from the company!!
Easilife do not buy from the company!!! My husband just discovered, easylife have been taking money every month from his elderly mother on a debit card for a membership fee. She was neither asked, nor wanted this. This is Fraud!! Stay away.
Conned an elderly friend taking money…
Conned an elderly friend taking money for years from her account she didn't give permission. Absolutely shocking doing this to vulnerable people who most don't have Internet access.

SCAMMERS
Easylife are thieves, pure and simple. Avoid them. After making a purchase I was contacted…
After making a purchase I was contacted by the Rewards Club and offered membership of a cooking club and a puzzle club. They said cancel anytime so I said okay. I never received a thing. I saw that £19.99 had been taken from my debit card, so I called them to cancel the subscriptions. The customer service adviser tried fobbing me off by offering a free MOT. I don't own a car. I had to insist three or four times that I wanted all the memberships cancelled and she said she'd done it. Imagine my surprise when a few months later I was checking my statements and three different amounts, the highest being £70, was taken from my debit card. In total I had just over £100 stolen by Easylife. Yes, stolen, because they took those monies after I'd demanded the subscriptions be cancelled. I called two or three more times to demand they cancel these subscriptions and refund my money. Each time they said they had and would. Then a couple of months after each call, I'd get a call from their 'members club' offering me a subscription again. Apparently they don't make notes on your account so that the customer service reps know not to call you. Anyway I contacted my bank, but they were about as useful as a chocolate teapot. This was almost two years ago, and to this day all I got from these 'clubs' was a cheap and flimsy puzzle 'book, and the transactions on my banking app disappeared, so I have no idea whether or not my stolen money was refunded. And Easylife still have the nerve to send me their rubbish, overpriced catalogues every three months. I can't be bothered calling them to tell them to leave me alone so I just chuck them in the bin and delete the numerous emails.
Easylife are con merchants and thieves, pure and simple.
Total Scam
Elderly parents ordered a cover for a chair I have now found out that Easy life have been debiting their account since 2019. £450 taken from a debit card which has actually expired!! Trying to get a refund after finding this out. I have emailed them asking for proof of any agreement and why they have debited my parents card several times £69.90 each time
Alert to not buy from them and check elderly family members accounts
Alert fo not buy from them. My 89 year old mother is registered blind. I have discovered that this despicable company has been regularly taking monies from her account. Having bought a small product from them 2 years ago they have apparently signed her up to a club (she did not sign up to) and taking £18.50 here and there and then sometimes £69.50 and then some more £18.50 and some £24.99, I finally noticed them when they took three payments in one month and followed it with a £76.99!!! After hours on the phone trying to get through and then with someone claiming she had been given a special offer (nothing has ever been actually sent to my mother) so another scam and these stealth hits on her account they finally cut me off. I have since stopped these payments at her bank, that in itself was a mission. Now to try and get the money back something in the region of £550.
Thank god I have not ordered anything…
Thank god I have not ordered anything from this company, I was thinking of ordering some of the GoHeater ceramic heaters but after reading all the appalling reviews on here its a no brainer that I would be foolish to order anything from them, why aren't trading standards taking any action?
Absolutely appalling company
Absolutely appalling company. My mum bought something from their company and then she had been signed up to a monthly promotion for £23.99 which she did not agree to. This also happened before - they prey on the elderly, hoping they won't check their bank account details. Utterly appalling.
Going through my 85 yr old Mums bank…
Going through my 85 yr old Mums bank statement I saw two payments taken out for £69.50, both identical references on the same day in August. I called Easylife and after an hour and heated conversation they promised to refund, they have refunded half at this point so the fight continues. Easylife stated she had ‘signed up to something’ this is an outright lie as I have her credit card that they used, after me stating that they did admit that they got her payment details from a previous purchase. Anyone talking to my mum would be very aware that she cannot hear very well and is often muddled.
This is despicable, preying on vulnerable people. When I looked into it, thinking it was a one off, I was shocked, I will take it further.
Horrendous company
Horrendous company, ordered hearing aids for my dad last year only 1 turned up they wouldn't refund. ordered again last week, no delivery apparently on hold because they want to see an LPA... refusing to refund so going to small claims court, thief's..
Bought some sofa covers 3 years ago…
Bought some sofa covers 3 years ago which were crap and ended up in the bin after a couple of months. Since this purchase, I've had regularly scam calls from numbers relating to Easylife. Thankfully soon I'll be changing my number.
Stealing £69 by a subscription you don't know about
Terrible company who are suddenly signing up people to a subscription costing £69 on an annual basis, hoping it's less noticeable. Disgusted, my elderly aunt, 88, thankfully noticed on her bank statement. How many thousands of customers haven't noticed this fee? £69 for NOTHING in return. No approval, just taken. I hope Trading Standards investigate and a company does a class action lawsuit.
An entry has appeared on my credit card…
An entry has appeared on my credit card RECURRENT TRANSACTION KENT EASYLIFE £77. I have no knowledge of this transaction and I am unable to get any satisfaction from the Company. They are fraudulent and targeting the elderly.
Easylife have taken a £59.99 payment…
Easylife have taken a £59.99 payment from me without mh consent. I have never heard of this company, I have received nothing. When I called them to query I spoke to a very odd man who kept asking me for my card details, which o refused to give him. He then claimed he couldn't hear me and the call ended. They are a fraudulent company and I am now trying to get the money back which is proving quite difficult.
still receiving calls on a monthly…
still receiving calls on a monthly basis - i bought some drain clear sticks over 3 years ago - and that entitles me to a free voucher - I stop the calls within 30 seconds and begged, threatened, basically tried everything to stop them calling me. Same story every time - 'first time I have called you' - 'nothing on your notes asking us to not call you' - one person even said it is the first time we have called you as we stopped during Covid.. I have explained they are causing me stress and anxiety and one more call will push me to the ombudsman. In this day and age it is unacceptable that they are preying on vulnerable people without any remorse.
My 89 year old dad bought an item a few…
My 89 year old dad bought an item a few weeks ago from this company and a few days later he received a letter offering an item for about £79 and 'being as they had his card details' they would be sending it unless he ticked some box and returned the letter to them. He was quite anxious and worried that they would take the money, but luckily, on that occasion they did not.
However, last week he noticed that they had taken £18.50 from his account without him authorising this. He was angry and worried and to be honest, I was too and still am! Apparently, they took it upon themselves to help themselves to his account for some kind of subscription that he had not authorised. He rang them and they said they would put the money back in within 5 days, and they did. In the meantime, I contacted the bank and had a block put on them, preventing them from extracting any more of his money. The man at the bank googled this company and was shocked himself at the amount of negative reviews and how they conduct their company.
A little bit of advice...do not use this company...EVER!!!!!
Took unauthorised paymentold them categorically that I would…
Told them categorically that I would decide whether or not to join their Rewards club after I'd read the paperwork rather than respond to a phone call and decide there and then. I REPEATEDLY stated that I was NOT giving them authorisation to take money from my bank via the details of the debit card I'd used to buy some goods from Easylife. A few days ago and about 3 weeks after that telcon, I received the paperwork and have since had £23.99 debited from my account. I shall be passing it on to Action Fraud
I noticed some unexpected debits from my account...
I noticed some debits from my account - at first didn't take too much notice, assuming it was a couple of things my wife had ordered. But no. I don't know where or how they got my debit card details. They've stolen around £250 (including £18.50s).
Crooks wearing the smart suits of a company. Unfortunately the police service Action Fraud is not active, but they should be prosecuted somehow.
It really is a shame as their catalogue had many useful things that used to be hard to get elsewhere. They'd better wake up. They're now competing with the internet.
Money taken without authority.
I recently checked my credit card account and noticed a debit of £18.50 to Easylife. I had no knowledge of ordering anything from them in the last couple of years so rang to enquire about it. I was told it was for their Rewards Club and was given another number to call. The call handler asked for certain information and confirmed that I had cancelled a rewards membership with them in March 2021. This was at the time that I was caring for my elderly husband at the last stages of his life, and I vaguely remembered having to insist that I definitely did not want to take advantage of any offers from them however much they pressured me and attempted to make me feel very foolish for not taking advantage! I was told that the money would be refunded to my account within five working days, which it has. However, I am very angry that this company has the power to take money from my credit card without my authority and wonder if this is actually legal? How many people are not as diligent as me, and this company is helping themselves to their money without their knowledge. Because many of the items they sell are for elderly customers, they are possibly less likely to notice. Disgusting!
