Do not use.

Do not use them. I should have read here instead of reddit which sing praises of their low prices
In order to get good rates, we bought credit.
However courier failed to pick up as Easy Parcel is slow to make arrangement. Spoke to the pple at DXL , they also advise to go to them (DXL ) instead of going thru easy parcel as the support is non- existing at easy parcel.
The unused credit, cannot be claimed back
The item to buy on their website is also super expensive.
Horrible company.

If you are considering to use EasyParcel, RUN !
My experience is that I had a very urgent mail to be sent to Europe, so I selected FedEX Express. Collection expected on the same day, and next day delivery. Well, 48hours later, still no sign of a courrier. I reached out to EasyParcel team who apologised a dozen times, and promised me that the pick up will be arranged on the same day. 24h later still nothing.
I have booked through FedEx directly, it is slightly more expensive, but 100% more reliable.
Now I am waiting for EasyParcel to process my refund. Fingers crossed

Would have given zero if I could

Would have given zero if I could. I bought an EasyCover for a fragile item, but it was scratched up and torn. CS took 2 months, with no resolution. I sent pics multiple times, and now they just ghosted me.

GPT reads new terms and conditons on…

GPT reads new terms and conditons on 10th MArch 2026.

Key clauses in the document that are **disadvantages or risks for the sender (customer)** are summarized below. These are provisions that limit your protection, compensation, or rights.

---

## 1. It is **not insurance**

* The document clearly states EasyCover **is not an insurance product**.
* It **does not guarantee delivery** and does not provide the legal protections normally associated with insurance.

**Disadvantage:**
If something goes wrong, you cannot rely on insurance-type protections or claim processes.

---

## 2. Coverage is **only for parcels declared “lost in transit”**

EasyCover explicitly states it **only covers parcels that are officially declared lost during transit**.

It **does NOT cover**:

* Damage to parcels
* Partial loss (missing items inside)
* Delivery delays
* Deterioration of goods
* Any indirect losses

**Disadvantage:**
Most real shipping problems (damage, delay, missing items) are **not covered at all**.

---

## 3. EasyParcel decides whether a parcel is “lost”

Compensation is only paid **after EasyParcel or the courier confirms the parcel is lost**.

**Disadvantage:**
You cannot independently claim loss; the platform controls the determination.

---

## 4. Strict reporting deadlines

Lost parcels must be **reported within the timeframes required by EasyParcel or the courier**.

If you report late:

* The claim may be rejected.

**Disadvantage:**
Even if the parcel is truly lost, missing the reporting window can void your claim.

---

## 5. Compensation is limited and capped

The terms say **maximum coverage per parcel is capped**.

Additionally, compensation is calculated based on the **lower of certain values**, such as:

* Declared value
* Coverage purchased
* Other limits set by EasyParcel

**Disadvantage:**
You may receive **much less than the actual value of the goods**.

---

## 6. Under-declaring value reduces compensation

If you declare a parcel value lower than its real value:

* Compensation will be based on the declared value.

**Disadvantage:**
If you under-declare to save cost, you cannot claim the real value later.

---

## 7. EasyCover fees are generally **non-refundable**

EasyParcel states it **is not obliged to refund EasyCover charges**, except at its discretion.

**Disadvantage:**
Even if you cancel or the service is not useful, the fee may not be returned.

---

## 8. Overall liability is heavily limited

The terms state EasyParcel’s liability **shall not exceed the total fees paid**.

**Disadvantage:**
Even if the loss is large, the company’s legal responsibility may be extremely small.

---

## 9. Some countries are excluded

Certain destinations **are not covered**, and EasyParcel can change the list anytime.

**Disadvantage:**
Coverage can be removed or restricted without much notice.

---

## 10. EasyParcel not responsible for many situations

The terms broadly state they are **not liable for many types of losses or claims**, especially those related to courier actions or shipment issues.

**Disadvantage:**
Responsibility is shifted away from the platform.

---

# Bottom Line

Major disadvantages for the sender:

1. Not real insurance
2. Only covers **complete loss**, not damage or delay
3. Company decides whether loss occurred
4. Strict reporting deadlines
5. Compensation caps
6. Under-declared value limits payout
7. Fees mostly non-refundable
8. Company liability heavily limited
9. Destination exclusions
10. Many liability disclaimers

---

If you want, I can also show **3–5 specific clauses in the PDF that are particularly risky for sellers or e-commerce shippers** (those are the ones lawyers usually flag).

They don't deserve any star

They don't deserve any star. Very sloppy work in investigating why parcels are returned. And don't do proper investigation too. I will rather forgo my existing credit with them than to send anything again.

This company has a notorious reputation…

This company has a notorious reputation for missing parcels, charging extra without reasons & not responding to customer's enquiries. Easyparcel also charges your credit Card extra reduction without informing its customers inadvance. Just look up their google reviews its as bad as trustpilot's reviews. Lately they are also deleting one star reviews on google because they know they are in the wrong and are trying to hide their ugly business ethical. The way the company is managing its business you would think its going bankrupt. Maybe it is. If they really do serves them right.

Worst website, poor customer service.

Worst website.

Firstly, their website had errors and ended up charging me twice for top ups and they claimed it's not refundable.

Offered not help for rejected shipping return and mentioned it's not refundable. Making me pay for shipping cost internationally even though they just returned it to me.

Poo service. Not recommended.

Beware of later charges

Provided the metric weight (kg) and dimensions (cm) of my parcel and paid accordingly. Item was picked up. After 10 days I was told that I had to pay additional $26.60 as the "volumetric weight" was higher. They chased with the courier. Was offered to have the item returned against a return fee but no refund of what I paid. Stay away!

My international parcel was not delivered

My international parcel was not delivered for more than a month already and CS keep giving me the same repeated answer, will check with the courier. And the credit balance in that account also cannot be refunded, nonsense and absurd policy. They force you to add credit, the minimum is $50 for international deliveries. If I were to know their shitty service, I would not even consider using their service. Stay away from EasyParcel at all cost!

First and LAST time using this platform.

This is my first time using the platform, and it'll be my LAST time using it. The website was wonky and I kept having to re-enter my parcel details over and over, and when I eventually submitted the order, I realised I had to change the collection date and cancelled it. For some reason, this information wasn't conveyed to FedEx, and they still came by for collection. After that, I needed help with something, so I contacted the customer support and even called them for help. No reply until I have already sent the parcel in, which was a week later, by the way. Then, on the actual date of collection, everything went well but after my friend received my parcel in the US, there was a weight discrepancy, claiming my parcel was 4.3kg rather than 0.95kg, which I weighed and confirmed before sending it out, and asked for an additional $55.10 to cover the extra weight. I tried to report the discrepancy via the EasyParcel website, but they just replied me with "Please understand that this weight discrepancy wasn't from our end, but the courier's end." Then asked me to resend them everything I had already provided? The next day I woke up to an SMS text message telling me $60.06 has been charged to my card, and obviously I was furious but can't do anything else about it. All in all, I will never use this disgusting money-minded platform again.

Been using for years

Been using for years. It was fine initially with minimal hiccups, except for international services. But lately it’s all gone down hill. Many parcels have gone missing and CS isn’t providing a proper answer, I’ve been waiting for months and had to pay out of pocket to my clients for all missing parcels. They were all reprinted to send to wrong addresses as can be seen in the proof of delivery, but CS keeps giving nonsensical replies as if the delivery is correctly done. Also courier companies keep showing up to my doorstep to pick up non existent parcels almost daily now. There’s a huge problem in the system clearly and I’d highly recommend staying AWAY from this platform if you don’t wanna go bankrupt.
