More from the knowledge of this Ebass Courses.

I have been with Ebass for several years. I have completed some of the offered courses and can honestly say that it has helped me not only understand the Bass Guitar but also music theory. From there, I have continued applying that knowledge to Acoustic and Electric Guitars. I am now an instructor for Guitar For Vets. Thank you for all the knowledge from this Ebassguitar program has given me.

🎸When Your Heart Says Yes

🎸Last year, I picked up the electric bass guitar—something I never imagined doing at this stage of life. It’s been humbling, sometimes frustrating, and often hilarious, but more than anything, it’s been joyful. Learning an instrument as an adult isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. About waking up parts of yourself that had been quietly waiting. About feeling the groove in your bones and letting your spirit dance. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I’d started sooner,” let that go. The best time to begin is when your heart says yes. And mine did. Here’s to late bloomers, new beginnings, and the healing power of music.

I'm new to the bass guitar and needed some structure to help me improve. Bass Lab Plus gave me that structure and has been the key to my learning. The community that James and his team have created are an amazing group. I am encouraged and committed to improve my playing and Bass Lab Plus is key to me achieving this!

James and his team work amazingly hard to stay in touch with Bass Lab members. They are incredibly responsive to the input they receive. James and other teachers are not just great players but are also awesome teachers. Their explanations are clear and simple even for complex pieces of music. I have been a member for 5 years now and get such good value for the money.

A structured, inspiring path for real progress.

Learning bass with Bass Lab PLUS has had a significant impact on my confidence and technique. The lessons are thoughtfully put together, applicable to all skill levels, self-paced, and full of real-world skills. The online community is encouraging and fun, and the support from the ebassguitar team is genuinely personal. I’ve also opted for 1:1 coaching, which is incredibly good. Highly recommended for anyone at any level serious about developing as a bass player.

Get Out Of The Rec Room

I have the utmost gratitude for James' excellent teaching skills. His videos captured my attention and led me to invest in his lifetime Baselab Plus membership and his interactive course. I have transitioned from a Rec room dabbler to a member of a trio, playing bass, six string, and even singing. I no longer just look at my guitars, I play them!

Initially I had trouble accessing the study materials for the trial. E Bass assisted immediately and I was able to get the audio tracks and materials in no time. I’m new to playing bass after rhythm guitar being my thing for over 30 years. I’m off to a roaring start with this program! Thank you E Bass … y’all rock!! 🤠

I had an initial assessment and was very please with what the instructor was able to help me with in the short period of time. I think that the recommendations were highly valuable and definitely worth the time and effort I put into preparing for the evaluation.

This is an excellent resource

This is an excellent resource. I am an intermediate level player. I found I could get through the first 1/3 of the book quickly, but then the back end of the book gives lots of examples to work into everyday playing and is well worth the money to develop a good toolbox full of runs and riffs.

I renewed my first year subscription at E Bass guitar because I've learnt so much and there's many more interesting modules to explore.
I love the variety of genres on offer and the video tutorials are easy to follow and methodical.
Its great having backing tracks to play along with too.
Im playing the odd public gig now and feeling increasingly confident with my ability thanks to the lessons. Most of all, I'm excited and having lots of fun!

Classically trained

Classically trained. Never played a bass with frets before the last six months. Very helpful in thinking of playing music written in a vertical way - chords, chromatic lines, etc. Spent years learning to read music like a book - horizontally left to right.

If you want to learn to play bass, they will help you to do so.

I have been able to use the lessons, the backing tracks, charts, the forums, live sessions, the lessons plans and the mobile app. I have built and keep pushing forward with my training list (actively changes as I go) and eBassGuitar.com always has something for me to turn to. It is my primary tool for learning to be a bass player (or now I can say to be a better bass player).

Learn how to play basslines

Everytime I need to play a song in a band, I go to ebass to find out how "James" thinks it should be played. Even though he is a bass wizard, I cannot play some of the things he shows me, but it always gets me in the ballpark to make me sound like i think I know how to play a bass, afterall, I have only been playing the bass guitar for 25 years.

Helpful learning tutorials

Always good, productiv feedback. Helpful learning tutorials with a structure to come further with the bass playing. Not to forget the community with all the interesting members. It is not only how to play bass correct it is all about bass and a "bass-friendship".
