The owner of EBKE has once again closed his primary account due to negative reviews. However, all potential EBKE customers should take the time to read the reviews on this Trustpilot profile: ebke.bike
In short, the EBKE business, which sells Chinese electric bicycles, is owned by a fraudster.
In 2023, he stole a donation intended for the Ukrainian army, and since then I have been closely monitoring this person’s activities.
Recent experience:
1. On EBKE’s Instagram page there is a photo featuring an Olympic gold medalist, who owes a hockey school in the Netherlands. The caption suggests a supposed partnership between the school and EBKE, clearly using a famous athlete to promote the EBKE bicycle shop.
However, the Olympic medalist had a very negative experience with the owner of EBKE, and this case should be described as deception on the part of EBKE’s owner. The only reason this photo exists is the generosity of the Olympic medalist and his compassion for the owner’s son — the children of a scammer did not choose their parent, and many people who have had negative experiences with this fraudster try to support at least his children.
Naturally, a fraudster — a person without moral constraints — also has no limits when it comes to lying. EBKE and this hockey school are not partners.
2. The person behind the EBKE brand deceives not only customers, but also suppliers. I am aware of at least two affected contractors. In one case, the owner of EBKE took a batch of bicycles and did not pay for them. Only extremely persistent pressure forced EBKE to return €15,000 after one and a half years of “fighting.”
In another case, the owner of EBKE attempted to defraud a supplier and, when it failed, began threatening legal action. As a person with no registered assets (nothing is officially registered in his name), the owner of EBKE claims eligibility for free legal aid in the Netherlands and uses this as a form of blackmail against victims, threatening to go to court. These are purely psychological pressure tactics — the threats are never followed through, as no court would ever side with a fraudster.
3. The owner of EBKE did not pay rent for the house where he lived with his family. As a result, he was evicted.
4. As mentioned earlier, in 2017 the owner of EBKE was the subject of an investigation by the Dutch TV programme Opgelicht?!. These videos are still available on YouTube. The owner of EBKE often claims that he sued the broadcaster and won the case. THIS IS NOT TRUE. A publicly available court decision clearly states that the owner of EBKE lost the case against the journalists who investigated him.
Avoid buying from EBKE.
