Run from this dealership before you regret it... HORRIBLE AFTER THE SALE SUPPORT!

Run from this dealership before you regret it... HORRIBLE AFTER THE SALE SUPPORT!
I bought a car from the Cicero locating. Was a long day, asked for my payment with and without the warranty and when they came out the warranty was included, and financing was done. Was such a horrible day, it was late and all I wanted was to get out. So, I cancelled the warranty not long after and have now been getting a HUGE run around to get my nearly $3300 refund. A few months have passed, not the 4-6 weeks that I was told. Echo is telling me that the bank will be sending the refund, but the bank is saying that Echo should.
I ended up hating and getting rid of the car because of all this, the loan was paid in full, Bank of America said that they have sent Echo proof of $0 balance weeks ago and still Echo is saying that they have no proof that the load is paid. BofA is sending out another 0-balance letter to me and Echo and I have asked Echo to reach out to the BofA representative on her direct number so she can get a fax number to send that let directly to them. See if that gets done. Then I get by Echo that even if they do receive the letter, B of A will need to return the check that Echo sent to them instead of me, and once the letter is in and they can process the check it would be another 6-8 weeks before I should see my check. In total, if that does fall into play it will be somewhere around 5-6 mo to get a 4–6-week refund.
Echo sells extended warranties; they seem to sneak it into their deals as they are getting you financing only to leave you to find out after they get you financed and ready to leave. THIS DEALER is horrible, their customer support is horrible and if you need after sales help help good luck. Not sure what my next steps are, legal, BBB etc but will be looking into them..
We bought a 2019 Jeep and the camera…
We bought a 2019 Jeep and the camera kept going out and then the check engine light went on. We were able to get them fixed under the warranty we bought. However, the jeep dealership EchoStar sent us to told us that the cover on the air filter was cracked and is a $400-$500 part and that the dealership should take care of it. I called EchoPark in Centennial and they refused to fix it because it was after 30 days and told us to call the warranty company. EchoPark sold us a mechanical-only warranty so that was not covered. We didn't know there was a problem until now. After selling us a vehicle with problems you would think they would help us but they won't. I told them we will not purchase from them again and, unfortunately, they didn't care. You would think they would try to keep their customers happy.
Don't bother to make an appointment - Duluth GA
Don't bother to make an appointment to look at a specific vehicle. Even though you confirm your appointment over the phone and they tell you the car is available right before you leave and you tell them you have to drive an hour to get there they will still sell the vehicle before you arrive (if it was really there) and not let you know even though they said they would call you if they were going to sell it and not until after you arrive and after they take all of your personal information (another 15 minutes) do they tell you "oops it was sold" and then try to sell you another vehicle that you don't want. VERY DECEPTIVE
Bought my car here, will never go back
Bought my car here, with the extended warranty because everyone raved about it. Not even 30 days into having the car it already had to go into the shop and with $700 in repairs. The sales person pushed the warranty on us, said it covered everything except wear and tear like tires. Warranty doesn’t cover anything. Will never go back again. Then I called to tell them and all they wanted to do is give a free tank of gas and said that my problem wasn’t big enough to warrant any help from them.

This was the best experience I have had with buying a car. Andrew Linton sold me my car and he was awesome. He did not pressure me. He showed me all the cars I wanted to see and in the end showed me a car I had no idea I even wanted and I love it. The process was fast. I could not of had a better day. Thanks Andrew.
EchoPark Southwest Houston
My experience with EchoPark Southwest Houston was time consuming, stressful and exhausting. Although initially excited about my purchase, the dealership demonstrated a systemic lack of transparency and accountability in their operations and I'm relieved that my experience with them is finally over.
Proper and timely communication post-sale was dismal. Despite numerous attempts to reach a single accountable person, nearly a month passed before the customer satisfaction department contacted me. They did not directly address or follow-up on my questions/concerns (e.g. poor communication, documentation, misleading descriptions of options and coverage, title status), despite their assurance that nothing was amiss and that concern about not receiving any loan documents should be addressed with the lienholder.
I called the lienholder to try to figure out why I had no communication about my loan and whether something was wrong. Lo and behold, I find out that EchoPark SW never submitted my completed loan documents, making the contract and vehicle purchase non-existent. I had to make the inconvenient trek to the dealership where a manager seemed genuinely embarrassed and apologetic about the situation. The dealership had no evidence of a customer call/response log or traceability system and no explanation for their poor performance.
After the dealership communicated with the lienholder, I was informed that my loan offer had expired and another hard pull on my credit would occur in order to finance. The next day I returned to the dealership, where the general manager apologized and said I should have asked to speak with him, while simultaneously explaining that there is no way to call the store directly. I was told that this incident and my complaints were a great learning opportunity for their employees, albeit a terrible situation for me.
I opted to purchase the vehicle in full so that my debacle with EchoPark SW would finally come to an end. A silver lining is that I was no longer stuck with absurd contracts for vehicle protection and mechanical service failure that were misleading and altogether unnecessary.
Note: Vehicle protection and mechanical failure service contracts are always optional and the right to cancel varies from state to state.
EchoPark Automotive
EchoPark Automotive - Duluth, GA Review. I had a chance to deal with EP today. Here is my analysis of the way they do business:
They offer very nice cars and “list” them at very good prices . . .BEWARE.
They make their money by trying to force you to buy the vehicle protection package which is essentially nothing more than an over-priced cleaning job ($500) and . . .
They will try to force you to buy and finance their extended warranty ($3000 and up)
You can opt out of either. However, if you refuse the warranty you are automatically bumped to a higher financing interest rate, regardless of credit worthiness.
One last thing. They claim to be a No Haggle dealership. Not true! I came in with a 785 Credit Score, and my own bank financing at 1.99%. They offered me 4.5% rate and when I refused, finance officer got nasty with me.
Final takeaway: you should not have to or be pressured into taking the extras. Protection package can be done by washing and waxing car yourself. Extended warranty, same thing. Maintain your car. Formerly leased vehicles such as theirs are in great shape and chances are you will never need the warranty. If you choose to take that option for “ peace of mind”, it’s a pretty expensive option.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience! I got pre-approved for a car, signed the contract, got the key, scheduled my first car payment and 3 weeks later I have been told to bring the car back because they don't have my tax return. They told us that if I want the car I need it pay it in full by MONDAY otherwise they will report my car stolen by me!
Does my contract mean anything? How is this even possible?
Ignorant more than I like to admit…
Ignorant more than I like to admit being a first time buyer. Friendly staff great customer service. Very smooth process all around. Would purchase from them again! My attendant, Marshall, even went out of his way to help situate my rental vehicle. Echo Park up and coming ? ...I think so
Unprofessional and a hassle
I really can not recommend this place to anyone. We had a very poor experience with our sales rep at the Southwest Houston location.. we walked in knowing exactly what car we wanted, just needed to test drive it and move along with purchasing. We were purchasing in cash so didn't need to do any financing. This should have been a quick and painless experience, especially because they "pride" themselves on making the experience quick and cutting out all the fluff of dealerships. We were there for several hours, our rep was not very professional and kept us waiting for 2-3 hours after we were ready to purchase. Once we decided to purchase, she said it would be about 20-30 minutes to get the paperwork ready to sign. An hour later she came out making excuses about someone she is training and they were almost done. Another 20 minutes she finally comes out and immediately finds a mistake. Has to go back and start over. 30 minutes later comes back and we find a mistake before signing. And finally after another 30 minutes she comes back and we get to signing. She continued to place the blame on "the new guy," which again - unprofessional. A manager, I forget his name, came over to apologize and talk about how this never happens and wanted to make it up to us and would mail us something, of course nothing was ever received. I have already steered everyone I know away from this place after that.
Well here we are now and my temporary plates are expired and they dont know when they will be sent out. I called them about 7-10 days before they were going to expire to see when I would receive them and they said it usually takes the full time but they overnight them, so I should expect them just before my expiration date. Today I have been calling and emailing and finally was told they have not even been sent, and they dont know when they will be sent out. So my options are to drive around with expired plates or drive over an hour to this place and pick up new temporary ones.
This place is so unprofessional and the amount of hassle it causes you is why their prices are so low. I will be finding somewhere else to buy cars from in the future and I suggest you do the same.
This place is joke
This place is joke, they sold my wife a 2018 Jeep Cherokee limited with mismatched tires on a four wheel drive, the thing was filthy dirty on the inside, we spent three hours cleaning the next day.
They put in the contract they would replace the brakes and rotors and now are refusing to do that saying it was never in the contract and that’s BS I sat there and asked the sales lady and she said yes it was.
The vehicle is shaking when driving at highway speeds and pulls to the right, after talking with them they said take it to a local dodge dealership and have it diagnosed we did and the dealership sent the quote to them and refused to let them do the work.
They then said bring it to us and we will replace the tires, nope didn’t happen, they said the reason it was shaking because the tires were over inflated and even though the tires didn’t match the tread depth was within there parameters!
My wife waited almost six years while I was dialysis with kidney failure to buy a new car, now she’s absolutely heartbroken we have to spend 2-3k more dollars and we haven’t even sent the first payment or paid the taxes and license yet.
Customer service is there priority my ass.
If I could give Zero STARS I WOULD
If I could give Zero STARS I WOULD. Do Not purchase from Echo Park Charlotte on Independence. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING A SALE. Not that you are using your hard earned money to buy a piece of GARBAGE. I had issues with them from the moment I drove off the lot. 2 DAYS after I purchased vehicle, oil light came on and brakes grinding. WHAT KIND OF INSPECTION WAS DONE??? NONE!!! Here I am 5 months later and still having issues. SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED MY GUT AND STUCK WITH CARMAX. I had a 2013 Corrolla and only issue I ever had was needing a battery. I would still have it had I now been hit and car totaled. I spoke to Corporate about my issue and they offered a $100 Vist, WHAT is that when I have this LEMON. I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE TO ECHO, I know everyone experience is different, THIS WAS THE WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE, IF I COULD GO PARK IT ON THEIR LOT AND NOT BE PENALIZED WITH REPO I WOULD. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR CAR FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kudos to the EchoPark in Baltimore!!
Kudos to the EchoPark in Baltimore, MD! Wow awesome service and such a cool car buying experience! Their showroom is very welcoming, as are their staff. The selection is expansive and all the cars have low mileage and they have multiple of each model to choose. I would highly recommend!
We are still waiting on our tag!! 2 1/2 months later!
We are still waiting on our license plate. Purchased a truck on March 10, 2021 from the Greenville, SC location. We followed the directions EXACTLY as we were told when we signed the paperwork (pay property taxes, send in via email and a tag would be requested immediately). Our first temporary tag expired 45 days later and was renewed. We were told there was a title issue in Texas and it would be handled right away. Here it is 75 days later and we are still waiting on a tag and Echopark refuses to return phone calls or emails. The DMV has no record of any paperwork being turned in. Will NEVER do business with Echopark again and will definitely not recommend them to anyone.
Thanks Sal ! 👍
Had THE best experience! First time buyer at EchoPark in Charlotte. Sal Khan was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He goes above and beyond to make sure that his customers leave happy with the purchase of their vehicle. He is an awesome guy!
Thanks Sal,

Buyer Beware - Not trustworthy
Not trustworthy. Drove 3.5 hour to purchase a vehicle we saw online. Increased the price by over $5000 by adding on "incentives" we didn't ask for nor want. Had to ask multiple times to see the total price when I realized the "payment" amounts were not matching up with what I had calculated before arriving at dealership. So buyer beware. They will try to add on a lot of extras without you knowing. We walked out without vehicle.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Full account below, but very long story short for those not inclined to read- after driving FOUR HOURS to purchase a car I had already secured a loan on and submitted all of my documentation for the day BEFORE, I arrived in Charlotte to be told that the vehicle was NOT IN THE STATE as it had been GIVEN OUT AS A LOANER CAR because one of the other cars they sold to someone had issues. RUN- this place is selling cars that don't match the mileage or condition advertised because are loaning them out and not telling people or changing the price to reflect the additional wear and tear!!!
I'd already test driven the same make and model car at the Duluth location near me (shout of to the staff at THAT location as they were awesome and super helpful!), but this car had lower mileage and the darker interior I wanted. It was literally meant to be a situation where I confirmed the car was in the condition represented on the site, sign my name, and drive home. I'd done everything I needed to do beforehand. At 10am I get a text from Steve the manager that tells me he's confirming my appointment, but that an appointment doesn't hold the car. WEIRD. I tell him I'll be there in 30minutes. I arrive, and check in at the desk, and am paired with a sales associate. I will say the ONE bright spot in all of this was the sales associate, Lauren, she was the ONLY person in this whole ordeal that actually listened, retained information, apologized when it was clear they'd REALLY messed up and was an advocate for doing the right thing. While I cannot tell you to run away from this place fast enough, IF you still decide to do business here she's the ONLY person we dealt with that was on the level. So sits down with me and starts to do the song and dance and then realizes I've already picked out the car I want and gotten the loan for it and this is 99% a done deal so Lauren goes to get the car. She's gone for a very long time. Eventually the manager, Steve, comes over wearing jorts and holding an energy drink. He doesn't offer us anything. What he does do is tell me that the car isn't there. Someone messed up and didn't mark that they'd loaned it out and they were just now realizing it was gone. Apparently it was out of state in SC. He tells me "we want to sell a car as much as you want to buy one" but never actually apologizes. Not even after I reiterate that I've just driven from Atlanta to come get this thing. He just shrugs and asks me if they had any other cars in stock I would be interested in. Uhhh.... I didn't just drive 4 hours to casually car shop. I took out a loan to SPECIFICALLY buy a car that you apparently loaned out and were so disorganized you didn't realize was gone until I turned up to buy it. His solution is to ship it to Greenville once it turns back up so that I can make a 3 hour trip out of my way on a different occasion. When I tell him that's not a solution he literally asks me, "Well it's closer isn't it?" I then suggest what SHOULD have occurred to him- to ship the thing to the location nearest ME in Duluth. After asking his regional manager, I'm told they can do that. Ok great! Few problems- It's going to take 1-1.5 weeks to deliver (so I now have to rent a car for that time frame) AND I have to complete this purchase today on a car that is not only not there for me to inspect BUT is being driven around out of state racking up mileage that makes it not the same specs as the vehicle I agreed to purchase. When I bring these issues up, and ask if they can either make the price reflect all of this or loan me a car then since they created this whole mess I'm told he can't change the price. Steve ducks out to speak to his boss again and comes back with, "I can't take two cars out of my inventory, but I'll ship this one to Duluth in two weeks and mail you a $200 gift card. I think that's more than reasonable.....but you've got to buy it from us today" (for those following along this far, I just rented a car for two weeks because of this since I have to start car shopping all over again and it cost $1350 so $200 to buy a car that wasn't what was represented OR even present is NOT reasonable) Reporting to BBB.

Our associate did not mention or point out our windshield had been replaced. We tried to contact Echopark for ten days to try and set up a return with the same model. We were even willing to pay the difference in vehicle costs.
We were finally able to contact Echopark and they suggested we trade in the vehicle. Trade in the vehicle we purchased from them a week ago because our safety fears are not important enough to make a customer for life.

The cars supposedly have a 180 point inspection. The interior was FILTHY and sticky. The oil change light came on a week after purchasing. The car had NO coolant in it. All my salesman was worried about was getting a good Google review.
