Refuses to provided refund of deposit
I have wanted to start an online business for a many years, and I thought this would be an ideal business for me.
The sales rep who told me about the program, advised me if a customer does not make $10k a month within 3 months of joining the program, the customer would be fully refunded. This gave me the confidence to pay a $3,900 deposit as I felt assured I would not lose money if it did not work out. The sales rep arranged for their credit provider to contact me to arrange funding for the the remaining $3,900.00, which I DID NOT qualify for.
At no time was I advised of the additional $33.00 PER DAY compulsory fees for Facebook advertising ($1000 PER MONTH) nor the additional Third party expenses that are a condition of the program.
Had I been advised of this I would NOT have paid a deposit as this is unaffordable to me. A contract was emailed to me whilst I was on the phone which I have NOT signed.
At NO TIME was I advised the deposit would not be refunded.
I have NOT signed a contract, and have sought a refund of my deposit in numerous emails.
I advised them I was not told about the additional $1000 minimum per month fees and that these costs are unaffordable for me.
This is evident by the fact that I did not qualify for the additional funding of $3,900 to go ahead with the program.
I have sent more than 6 requests for a refund over a three week period, and the response is - 'my manager is looking into it'.
I have investigated further with the ACCC and this is unlawful.
Save your money and look for a company that has some integrity and honesty.
