first the price was good
first the price was good . I was promised a SUV but I'm getting a smaller car than I was promised . I know this because when I book a car I always call ahead to see if everything I was promised in the deal is correct . I was told by the rental company in San Juan puerto Rico. 1. I won't be getting the SUV I was promised when I booked but something smaller. 2. I will have to pay more local taxes when I pick up the car plus 500 dollar hold on my credit card plus the taxes I paid when booking. 3. You as the third party vender should be more clear about the process and what to expect when arriving at your rental location. 500 hold , over 400 for the rental plus tax on booking and on arrival is pure criminal . Over 1000 dollars for a car rental that's crazy you got me this time but never again .

Being sent to San Juan, Puerto Rico for an SUV and then told at the desk you’d be getting a smaller car is a proper let-down, especially with the taxes paid online, extra local taxes at pickup, and a $500 hold on the card. Unless the SUV was explicitly guaranteed, bookings are usually for a vehicle category rather than a specific car, and the supplier controls the handover and the pickup charges.
EconomyBookings is a legitimate booking platform, but those desk details still need to line up with what was confirmed. If this is still unresolved, do send your booking number, the confirmation showing the SUV, and any receipts or notes from the counter to community@bookinggroup.com so the team can review it properly.
