Excellent Service

I have been using Ecruit for a number of years now for various vacancies in our company and this has always been a positive experience. Ben and his staff are always professional, supportive, and quick to change anything we require on our adverts. Communication is always clear throughout each vacancy process, you can contact them anytime if you have a query. This makes my job less stressful trying to find the correct candidate. Overall, I would highly recommend their service.

Wanted to leave 0 stars — misleading trial, invoice after cancellation, escalation & privacy concerns

We would give 0 stars if Trustpilot allowed it.

We were contacted and offered a 1-week trial, which we agreed to. Then the sales person extended it by an extra 2 weeks. During the trial, the service was not as promised — we received what appeared to be fake accounts/leads, and when we raised concerns, no one responded properly.

Because we weren’t happy with the service, we decided not to proceed. Instead of simply closing the account at the end of a trial, they sent us an invoice and demanded payment.

When we refused to pay the invoice (because we did not agree to continue and were unhappy with the service), they escalated it — the director became rude on the phone, told us to “go away”, and they raised a claim / threatened court action to force payment.

What made it worse is that during the call the director sounded very familiar with the court process, quoting claim details and speaking as if this was routine. That felt like an intimidation tactic.

Finally, we also have serious privacy concerns: in one email they mistakenly included another company / wrong recipient, which meant our information and correspondence was shared with a third party.

Very disappointing experience. Please be extremely careful and make sure everything is confirmed in writing by email, including trial dates, extensions, cancellation terms, and whether any invoice can be raised.

In addition, they keep pushing more and more to have our review reported, deleted, and flagged so it doesn’t show our voice publicly.

For clarity, ecruit provides recruitment advertising and application management (advert creation/review, distribution to job boards, and applications delivered via the portal). We do not create or “generate” applications.

Trial vs paid arrangement
A paid campaign did not automatically commence from the trial. After the trial period, your business instructed us in writing on 16 January 2026 to “get the advert live and finalised today” and requested the contract link be re-sent. A DocuSign Order Form was then completed for a discounted credit bundle on an instalment plan. When the first invoice was issued, your team asked if payment could be made at the end of January (which we agreed). We mention this only to clarify that the service and payment timing were discussed and agreed after the trial.

For context, your team also confirmed in writing that a hire was made during the first week of the campaign.

Concerns raised during the campaign
If you believe any specific applications were not genuine, we are happy to investigate properly. Every application includes a unique source code identifying the referring source (job board/channel). Please email hello@ecruit.com
with the job title/advert reference and the applicant names/timestamps, and we will verify the source data and respond.

Privacy / wrong recipient
We have already acknowledged and apologised for a third-party email address being mistakenly included on an accounts chase email. This was a human error, not intentional. We have removed the address from future correspondence and reviewed internal controls to prevent a repeat.

Finally, on the point about “threats” or “intimidation”: where an invoice remains unpaid and a dispute cannot be resolved informally, we may outline the formal options available. We would always prefer to resolve matters amicably and directly.

Excellent service – Will use again!

The team at Ecruit recently helped us hire some new staff. Both Ben and Jazmyn were very efficient and supportive with all correspondence and guidance needed throughout. They helped us get our adverts live within a few days of reaching out to them. The adverts went on multiple job boards / websites, which meant the application rate was far higher than any advert we’ve internally posted before. Once the adverts were live, the portal that puts all applications in one place is really easy to use, with the candidate screening saving so much time. It allows you to jump between different candidate CVs at the click of a button. Once both positions were filled, the adverts were closed down straight away at our request. As a company we will continue to use Ecruit going forwards as their service makes recruiting much easier and streamlined. Highly recommend!

Great system

We've been using Ecruit now since the beginning of the year and couldn't be happier. The quality of the applications have been great and we've made around 4 hires so far. The system is easy to use and really helps with tracking, especially when you have high volume.

As a small family business

As a small family business, we don't have the time to be uploading job adverts to multiple boards and manually amending any applications. Ecruit have simplified the process through their portal and have saved us a lot of time with their services.
We have filled all three roles advertised through Ecruit, so thanks to Tasha for all her help in doing so.

Very good, and communicative throughout
