Spent £50 on photography, waited over a month for photos. Paid for the essentials pack, 1 big photo and 2 small photos. I received the big picture, but the 2 smaller images were missing from their display sleeves.
To be honest, they were the worst photos I have ever had done, the photographer was very much "he knows best", rather than take some images in the way I wanted.
Paid £20 for a pen drive which I was told would contain all the photos, but only received 1 image.
This is very poor service and rubbish value for money. It was impossible to make a valid selection from the proofs due to rather aggressive watermarks. Money is tight for graduates and every penny counts, why are you so pinching? I now have to wait another month for them to rectify THEIR mistakes.
Update: I already messaged you and the best you can do is confirm 1 photo on the pen drive, say sorry for the mistake and offer a touch-up on the photo I have. You want me to return the current image rather than send me an update along with the missing images. Its really not great

We spent £98 on a photo order with Eden and Ravenscroft.
This was for a 2 large solo photos and 2 large family pictures and 2 small solo pictures and a memory stick of photos costing £20
Choosing the photos it was difficult to see which photos were best due to the heavy watermarking so I was pleased I had ordered the memory stick so that we could get prints of the other pictures if we liked them
However the memory stick has only the 2 pictures we paid £78 already for prints of. On the initial order firm it says nothing about the pictures on the usb being restricted to the ones you order for printing. Feeling ripped off as every other photoshoot we have paid for usb which has contained all the pictures , not just 2
The photographer was great and we felt he took time over the pictures so we are very disappointed not to see the rest.

I was excited to receive my son's graduation photos only to find one ear looks purple, and can't display them.
I contacted the company to be told it will take up to eight weeks to edit the photos and I don't need to return them. Then a couple of days later I received a phone call asking me to print off a form and return the faulty photos. The photos are no good to anyone so what is the point of returning them. If the photographer had proper lighting and wasn't so rushed maybe this wouldn't of happened.

Extremely poor standard of graduation photo , The "photographer " didn't really know what he was doing. I doubt that they employee professional for those photo shoots. I definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

Ede and Ravenscroft were brilliant in organizing the formal wear for my son's matriculation and final graduation at Oxford. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of the Oxford branch of Ede; we also bought some very attractive cotton shirts and trousers for him to wear in more casual settings.

I wrote to Ede & Ravenscroft to enquire about having a set of new Parliamentary Robes made for my husband as a present. Was sent a very acidic and snide reply back that they only make robes for Peers of the Realm. Didn’t even bother asking who the robes were for, what a nasty arrogant person the ceremonial manager is. But a lot of Peers have said the same thing.

Sadly the lack of organisation with regards to the official photography on my daughter’s graduation day caused her to wait for over an hour and forty minutes to get her photo taken. The queues were so long and everyone was put in one queue whether they wanted one individual photo or numerous family shots. We pre-booked and paid for the photos in April as we were advised this would save time on the day but even those who had not pre-booked were all allocated to the same queue. I spoke to a member of staff from the company who agreed that there was no organisation and she encouraged me to complain to the office. Due to the amount of time wasted, my daughter missed her post ceremony drinks and valuable memory making time either family who just had to sit around in the heat waiting.
I would be very loathe to use this company’s services again.

Staff are very supportive and respond to queries promptly. The quality of gowns were exceptional and reasonably priced. Once the order is dispatched it usually arrives next day. I was so worried with the 28day processing period but my items arrived within a week.

A bit expensive for a couple hour loan but the service was good and the gown quality

I had an issue caused by myself on my order. I found the customer service email on here and emailed them direct. Carl was very helpful and arranged for everything to be rectified immediately. Great customer service.

I ordered the Graduation Family Pack from Ede & Ravenscroft, expecting framed printed photos to be delivered to my UK address. Instead, I received digital images only — despite the fact that I had paid more and provided my postal address for delivery.
When I was prompted to pay an additional £8, I believed it was for extra images or improved quality — not a full conversion to digital. The upgrade process was misleading and not clearly explained.
I contacted customer service several times within the one-year period, but no one responded until after the deadline had passed. Now they are refusing a refund, even though I never received the service I originally paid for.
This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I do not recommend them.

Had graduation photos taken 16th July. Failed to send digital photo to review. Raised log informing this. Then filled in a form (with a photo of me) as they informed me they need to find the images, emailed to ask how long process takes. NO RESPONSE!!! It is now 31st July. No further updates from them. The customer service helpline just goes straight to voicemail with no way of knowing how long you are holding on for. Have been trying to ring daily. Very upsetting as this is a once time occasion and as a mum and the person who has paid for this service I am appalled. I've tried reaching out on X too but still no reply. Very frustrating and your company is totally uncontactable. Do not recommend this company at all. Very very frustrated and upset

Clear signage, quick process, helpful staff. Only constructive criticism would be to offer an extra smaller sized hat, I felt my hat was a bit loose, even with the pins.

So far my experience with Ede and Ravenscroft for Graduation hasn't been what I expected. In terms of gown hire services, it's nothing special; you're paying a high fee to hire a gown that arrives folded up and potentially creased.
But the real insight into their practices is evident in their photography "service". When arriving, they have people waiting to receive payment for photography at the door. The only question I was asked was how many were in my party (3 including me).
I was clearly told I would be charged a sitting fee that would then be taken off the final amount when ordering the package, and I would need the receipt. Nothing about a separation of what was charged, nothing about refundable or non-refundable, or that I was being charged an extra fee that I wouldn't be able to use later.
So you can imagine the surprise when my code from the receipt which notes £30 on it, and I was told would reduce my paid amount from the package, only reduced £20. So what happened to the £10?
The justification for this is that there were "banners" around on the day with this information. In fact, the banners were never pointed out on the day, and the people we interacted with were the ones who gave us information.
Ironically, their banners notes that for a party of up to three including the graduate, the fee should be £20. £30 is paid for larger parties or for 4 poses or more. But we were never asked about how many poses we wanted or about this difference in fee, we were simply asked how many of us there were and directly charged £30. So this was a mis-sold product, they had no right to decide on my behalf that I should be charged for more poses before any photographs were taken. This should have been asked at the very least, and it should have been made clear that only £20 out of the £30 paid would come off of the final photo package purchase.
Thankfully, they do have a better customer service team than the service on the ground, who understood the issue after a bit of back and forth and have indicated they will assist. So I'm adding an extra star for this reason, but really and truly all these issues could very easily be avoided.

So firstly the organisation simplicity and kindess of staff were astounding, and made my graduation a much calmer and more exciting experience. Reading other pieces of feedback a the chief complaint is price and photography. While the gown and hat are expensive, as it is a one off celebration I managed to justify it. In regards to photography, my personal experience was stellar, and the photos have come out excellent as a result. Only let down in my opinion is that I can only afford a few as the price does get quite steep. Overall, pricing is a gripe that I have come to understand and to an extent have accepted, but in terms of customer service there couldn’t have been more done.

Absolutely appalling. Have had to pay sitting fee twice as didnt appear on system despite proving money came out of bank account. Spent day after day trying to access photos. Still havent succeeded despite about 10 password changes and contact with customer service. Cant believe this could be so difficult. Has ruined what should be a special graduation experience. Still waiting to actually see some photos

Truly dissapointed felt like my photos were rushed and were not done to a professional standard, its just a money grab scheme for private photographers to earn money and monopolise at university graduations. The pricing for these crap photographs are shocking they even charge for extra enhancements like teeth brightening so bad its actually funny. My mother has taken better photographs then the ones they took on the day and those images were raw before she professionally edited them at home (she's a professional wedding photographer) and knows what she's doing. Truly embarassing for Ede & Ravenscroft as graduation is a big milestone for students and parents, we deserve our photgraphs to be professional taken as it is an importat day for us it takes alot of hard work to obtain a degree. This business was only interested in money and charging for every little thing for such low quality photographs and their subpar photographers. WHAT A JOKE!!

Talentless photographers at my graduation, photos are utter garbage but you don’t know that until a week after your graduation when you’re able to view them online, as they’re not shown to you on the day. £20 deposit to ensure they have your money regardless of how (un)happy you are with the service.
