Good quality sunglasses at a very good value price.
So why do I give 3 stars not 5 ? Because of the poor delivery service by UPS. I waited at home all day on the designated delivery day.......nothing, no parcel, no phone call, no email message.
I was not contacted at all.The next day, as I was getting in my car to leave the UPS delivery man was driving AWAY from my house without coming to my front door to deliver the parcel.I ran down the road to stop the van and at last get my parcel!

Not capable to contact the client when the order is pending for 4 days in their system and the client (I) chose the UPS express option to be delivered overnight.
Had to cancel my order, as no suitable option provided by the hotline, out of the box solution, thus I went to buy the sunglasses in emergency at another store to have the birthday present with me the D-Day not the day after. i thought I had been wise to order 4 days ahead with extra safety with the UPS express

It took me an hour to decide where to order my pair of Persol. I landed on Edel-Optics.fr, attracted by the very cheap price (220€ on Persol's website and 120€ thanks to a promotion on Edel-Optics). It seemed strange to me to see such a low price, so I checked on Google and Trustpilot some rates and reviews. I immediately discovered that the rates for this website were really good, so, without questioning myself I placed the order.
Right after that, now the crime was done, I started to read the reviews. And there are a lot of reviews. So, I began by the worst one. And there are a lot of bad ones. It made me feel guilty and bad. I thought that I have been scammed...
Anyway, within a few hours, I received an e-mail to confirm that the sunglasses were available and that they'll be sent really soon.
However, (this is the only bad part of the experience) there is no account profil, so you can't check anything about your order. I was stressed, so I decided to call them (ENGLISH ONLY). A man answered me after 4 minutes. I asked him about the authenticity of the products, and the serious of Edel-Optics, should I trust them or not, and if it was possible to cancel the order. He told me that for sure, I could cancel my order, that of course, the products are genuines, and that of course it would be better for me to wait to receive the product and see by myself about the quality before sending it back if I would like to. I followed his suggestion and wait.
The day after, I still had no news about the parcel. No confirmation that it had been send. No tracking number. I called them back, and a woman answered before telling me that it had been send. She sent me the tracking number in the next minute by e-mail.
I waited only 24 hours, and the package was here. I opened it a little bit stressed... And... Surprise ! Inside the carbox, there was an original Persol box (I know them since I already have others), in a perfect condition. I opened it, still stressed and, no surprise... There was the authentic Persol glasses case, brow leather, with the engraved logo. The glasses inside are completely new, clean. And you clearly can see it's real Persol just looking the way it's made. But as proof to be reassured, I received them with the small sticker on the lense, the left lense also holds the engraved logo, there is the serial number on the temple, the “handmade” mention, the CE homologation... Everything that tells you you are holding real Persol sunglasses.
Of course, inside the box, I found the authenticity certificate plus the guaranty from Luxottica (leader company that owns Persol), and the original brown branded wiper.

Maybe some of you other people who bad rated Edel-Optics had serious issues with the company. But I think that if you order INSTOCK sunglasses, that you take the time to call them to get the informations you need, you wouldn't have any problem.

For me, it was perfect, better than I thought. The only issue is the absence of profil account to follow the order. For the rest, it's great.
