I returned to edit suits to get some shirts and a jacket made. My first suit was a success! The new jacket looks great and fits perfectly, as do the shirts.

The whole process was very simple and flexible around the demands on my time and the staff could not be more attentive/knowledgeable. I highly recommend Edit Suits and the ease of their locations - the only thing that could be a little clearer is if the staff talked you through the pricing of the chosen suit in different fabrics.

I spent an hour over two sessions picking out fabric and working on a suit - and then they sent me an email a week later saying I could not have this fabric as it was discontinued. Totally unacceptable and such a waste of time. They could have told me at any point point

... this might be a good idea if you have a decent knowledge of the measurements you want. You go for your appointment, the staff member takes some measurements and you try on some garments. Then the staff member fiddles some numbers on the computer and you get your suit a month or so later, with any adjustments included.

However, the algorithm gives a very poorly fitting, 'modern look' suit - jacket too short, trousers too tight and low rise etc. Unfortunately, these issues can't be fixed post hoc, so you are stuck with an ill fitting suit, that you could have bought for a fraction of the price from the high street. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately their knowledge of the trade is lacking.

However, there is an excellent range of cloths available, as well as lots of custom specifications like wide lapels, trouser pockets etc. So if you have a real idea of how your suit is to look, and the measurements that will be required to achieve this look, this probably is a good value service, because it's a lot cheaper than bespoke.

I would advise picking as cheap a cloth as possible on your first go, ignore everything the shop assistant advises, and make sure you have a clear idea of exactly what you want. Then if you get your suit back and are happy with the fit, your personal pattern is saved and you can make an exact copy of that suit in a nicer cloth.

I'm not one to leave a review, but the suit quality is nice. However, the level of service isn't so great. I would have received better service at Moss for a fraction of the price.

An excellent and invaluable experience for my first bespoke Edit suit, very good engagement and communication making me feel very comfortable and unrushed in choosing my wedding suit.

On entering the shop the staff could not be more accommodating/helpful in ensuring the suit and shirt was correct for me in the style/fit of the garments. The lead time given for manufacture was better than quoted.

My adviser was very attentive and put me first as a customer in what I was looking for. I found the experience very relaxing for my first time in having a shirt made and was really happy with the over all product.

I had two consultations with edit suits. An initial consultation and a follow up. The lady I saw initially was professional, polite, engaged and interested in providing an excellent service. I was very pleased with the choices we made. My follow up with a gentleman was just as good. He made a few simple adjustments which elevated the fit and the suit looked and felt terrific. A professional service, good choice of styles and materials. And they can cater for most budgets. Overall very pleased and would heartily recommend
