I purchased the Marks Metro 91A to replace an original skeleton key mortise lock on my entry door, circa 1925. While some additional mortise work was required, the lock fit the door well and look like a contemporary upgrade from the 30s and 40s when tumbler locks came around.

I am really excited to find the security door knob and lock that would fit our door. The website was easy to get around in and when I needed a couple of questions answered, I called the 800 number on the website and a friendly voice helped me out and answered my questions.

We had to order some locks through the website. When I first spoke with Melhen ( I am not sure of his title with the company), we had a question as to which lock we would need for our order. He said he was not in the office and that he would give me a call back once he gets in. I didn't hold my breath as a lot of reps will say that but unless you're buying a lot of stuff, they will expect that you will call them back. Melhen did call back and was able to help me place my order over the phone and help me order the right items. We also placed a second order with E.D. Locks but ordered the wrong item. This was completely our fault. I emailed Melhen and he said that we could return it and that we would just have to pay for the shipping. We returned the item and the process was made very easy by Melhen. I would definitely recommend buying from E.D. Locks.
