We have recently upgraded to a newer narrowboat, the only thing that was letting it down was the mattress that was quite uncomfortable to sleep on. It is a split mattress and not a conventional size. I spoke to Edwardian Bedding and decided on a 2000 pocket sprung mattress which they would make to our sizes. Less than a week later it was delivered to a marina we were passing after a phone call to arrange this on the morning of delivery. The driver was amazingly helpful in getting the mattress onto the boat as well. The mattress is extremely comfortable, very well made and the service I received second to none. I would highly recommend this company!!

Very impressed! We visited the Hornsea branch. The sales lady was very nice & not at all pushy. She helped me to find the most suitable mattress for my back etc. and 3 nights after sleeping on it I can confirm it is wonderful. I have even slept better than usual. Love the fact that they are British made in Yorkshire too. Support local. Half the price than if we had ordered from Dreams where we bought our bed frame!

What a marvellous company! We live on our narrowboat and needed a new mattress as we were very unhappy with a memory foam one we’d quite recently bought from another company. We decided in the Apollo pocket sprung mattress and sent in our measurements. The mattress arrived 2 weeks later and has been an absolute godsend. Our sleep has improved no end and we’re extremely happy with the quality of the mattress and the seamless buying process.
