Efficana Reviews

I agree with the others, this is a scam. You will get a timer… eventually (clearly drop shipped from China with a long delivery time). The advertising by is completely misleading - the quality is absolutely terrible. These timers are cheap plastic tat you’d expect to find in a clearance bin at a pound shop, and they do even functionally work well. The video reviews on the official site are clearly fake / paid for. The user reviews on the official site (showing avg 4.9) are also obviously fake, and there is no way to leave one having actually bought one of these timers.

Have requested a return but looks like they will make me arrange and pay for return shipping to China, which is part of why I consider this a scam.

Normally I’d check for review red flags but think I bought at a moment of distraction. Leaving this here so others don’t make the same mistake.

SCAM - The quality is terrible. They market this as a high-end timer, and I've even seen videos of it being hit with a hammer. This is made with cheap plastic, weighs next to nothing, and if it were hot with a hammer, it would shatter. The bezel turning is very frustrating; it does not move smoothly, and the seconds and minutes are not in sync when resetting; it takes a bit of tinkering. It's not worth what it is marketed at; I'd say it's worth no more than £5.00 and should be in a cheap tat store. Disappointed, DO NOT BE DUPED!

Placed an order 15 days ago, still no sign of my order.

Going on the tracking number they provided,
They’ve said it’s in transit but not showing as correct code.

Absolutely abysmal.

No responses on Instagram and email responses are generic.

Avoid avoid avoid.

Scam.

it seems other people are considering efficana as scam. i want to counterbalance this, because i placed an order and changed my mind after reviewing trustpilot. i contacted efficana. They accepted and were very kind to me. Cancellation and reimbursement straight away. I let anyone assess their products and consider the price. But Efficana is a real company, not a scam at all, answer their mails and take care of customers. They explained me they had been also subject to scam by some people usurpating their identity. i do not know the ground truth, but i can say it is okay to deal with them.

I bought the productivity timer. The quality is awful and I would think the product is not worth 10% of the price I paid. I emailed the company asking to setup a return as per the note on their website. There has been no response despite multiple attempts.

Unfortunately all the earlier reviews are true. This is a complete SCAM 😥 I bought 3 timers, 1 for myself and 2 as gifts. The quality is abysmal. Absolute crap. On top, 2 of the 3 timers didn't even work - the turn wheel was broken and couldn't adjust the time.
I hope the people behind this get punished one way or another. Shame on them.

scam. they never shipped it

scam! it's rubbish. don't ever buy from these people

The item that arrived (digital timer) could not be made any cheaper! The quality is absolutely abysmal and could be bought off the shelf for literally 10% of what I paid for it! Including postage it cost me just under £30 and I couldn’t be more disappointed in what I’d just paid for. When contacting Efficana they then tried numerous times to get me to accept a percentage of what I paid for it, the highest being 30%, just under £3 but I get to keep the item that I no longer want and wouldn’t want to give to my worst enemy as a gift! If I want any money back whatsoever then I need to return it to the USA and pay for the privilege which would mean that by the end of all this I would get back £10 of my original £30. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND COULDNT BE LESS HELPFUL IF THEY TRIED! Calling their product “premium” is just false advertising. Please please don’t make the mistake I did in buying anything from them. Absolute cheap crap from yet another soleless company, thanks for reassuring my distrust in online advertising companies!

The company is fraudulent. I’ve lost almost £100.00
I purchased two items and when they arrived, the quality was rubbish. I emailed to return the items and get a full refund as per their website T&Cs, I would have to pay the shipping costs but I could have a refund if within 14 days.
They replied saying they’d offer me a 20% refund and I could get the goods. I said no thank you, I’d like to pursue the full refund option.
I’ve emailed daily for 1 week and they will not reply nor provide me with the return email address.
There is no contact number either. I’ve had to report them to my bank as fraudulent activity.

*SCAM*

Ordered adjustable dumbbells on 13 March 2024 and still nothing has been delivered. I have emailed using the address provided and have not had a response. Also, the link I was provided on the order email is no longer valid so I have no way of tracking updates for the order.

I am out of pocket with no product and am extremely annoyed.

SCAM.

Do NOT order from this website. I purchased a productivity timer from this website in mid March for my partner's birthday a couple of weeks later. After an initial notification (I used Shop Pay to complete the purchase) of it being dispatched there was nothing so I emailed using the address listed on their site and to this moment have received NO response. 12 days from my purchase the tracking updated and then today it states my item was delivered at 7.47pm - one minute after it supposedly left the sorting center at 7.46pm - needless to say it was not delivered and I'm currently out of pocket!

Avoid at all costs.

SCAM SCAM SCAM.

£39.99 for adjustable dumbells and all that turned up was a empty little package.
Do not buy anything from these people.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

Avoid using these - clear scam. Quite clever in that they send an empty ‘tracked no signature’ parcel that weighs less than 20g to contain a set of adjustable dumbbells. Be nice to visit them later this week

I bought some dumbells which I thought was at a really good price but in hindsight, it was too good to be true. They sent me an empty envelope which is obviously how they scam people. I should have known that sending 50KG dumbells from China for 39.99 is going to be a con.

Buy from Amazon for £12!

After purchasing a timer I emailed customer service no more than 5 minutes after I made the order to cancel. I didn't hear anything from them. The item has arrived with no batteries. Now I have to pay for return postage.

Don't waste your money like I have!

I bought a timer off them, thinking for the price it would be top quality - but it's actually just a cheap kitchen timer you can buy on Amazon. It didn't even come with their branding on the box. Very lazy and a scam to mark something up to that cost.

I bought an electronic office device from these guys and they haven’t delivered. I’ve written to them and they won’t provide a response. Do not do business with them. Lots of users on Reddit say they are a fake shell company defrauding shoppers. I’ve reported them to Shopify who host their website.
