For such an expensive product, they need to stop locking features behind paywalls.

Wish the pod could be controlled without Internet.

Also conflicting instructions on maintenance in the manual and the site

Our POD 2 lasted 2.5 years before it started leaking. When I asked to purchase a replacement cover and use the original hardware. We were told that the hardware wouldn’t be able to be reused based on a picture of the inlet that we sent. We’ve only ever used RO water in properly treated with hydrogen peroxide. Not sure why we aren’t able to reuse the system. They offered us a heavy discount on a second tier unit. The pod five was out and they offered us a discount on the pod four as a replacement. Which was a nice gesture, but I still expected more than 2 1/2 years with our POD2.

My pod isn't working and there is no customer support. The only way I can communicate with SleepEight is to send an email which is totally unacceptable.

when i was having an issue with my cover, it was frustrating to go in circles with the AI helper. i’m not sure if i ever got handed over to a real person or if it eventually just figured out my problem, but once things got on the right track everything went smoothly and i was sent a new cover very promptly! this product has changed my life, so i don’t think i could sleep without it at this point.

At first i was skeptical when my husband said he wanted to get it, but after having it for 6 months, i can't imagine life without it. I realize that sounds a bit exaggerated, but it has helped my husband i so much. He tends to get really hot at night and sweats a ton due to his metabolism, while i'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. Due to having untreated hypothyroidism, i get very cold and freeze easily. Especially at night. Now we both sleep comfortably knowing we can make each side of the pod work for us and our situation.

I love my eight sleep mattress cover! It helps me fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up rested. My only complaint is that it has ruined all other beds for me! I have told so many people about my experience with my eight sleep and highly recommend it for women going through perimenopause!

Great product that helps you get better sleep. Customer service has lots of room for improvement.

We’ve been sleeping on an 8 Sleep Pod for about a year, and many aspects of our sleep have improved: sleep quality, duration, and ease of falling asleep and waking.

I originally sought out 8 Sleep for help with snoring, which has decreased, however I have received more benefits than I originally expected.

I wish I knew about the Eight Sleep system sooner - it is an absolute game changer!! The ability to choose what temperature I want when I crawl into bed, and then know that it's going to make all the necessary adjustments to keep me sleeping perfectly all night long is just priceless. The feedback the next day is truly personalized and so helpful. I actually hate travelling now because I don't like sleeping without my Eight system. This thing is worth every penny. Don't hesitate. Get it now!

8 Sleep has been the most consequential and positive change in my sleep situation since my wife and I got a king sized bed.

I was an early adopter of this tech, using the pod 2. Still paid about 3k for it and was expecting to be able to use this tech for many years. I’ve taken meticulous care of the pod because it basically saved my life. I couldn’t sleep prior to using it due to inability to control temps in my room. Recently the pod stopped working. I reached out for help and had the worst experience. I tried to use the chat. Useless. Got a follow up email and sent the pics requested and another explanation of what was happening. The temp stopped working. After some unproductive email back and forth, I called. The tech said I had to buy a new pod and cover initially. Then we worked through the issue and the pod worked for a few weeks. Tech suppprt was still going to have diagnostics run and I was to receive a report post the test. That NEVER happened. But in the time the pod was still working, I continued getting support emails saying all different things to try and get the pod working. And each email seemed as though they didn’t have any context into the conversation. I did respond saying it was resolved and asked for the results of the thermal test, but they didn’t acknowledge me and kept emailing. The pod stopped working again so I called again. Got the same answer. You have to spend another $1600 to replace it. This is unacceptable. I spent a lot of money to have a tool that lasts at least as long as the mattress under it that cost considerably less. They would not entertain a better price to rectify this. While the tech does help with sleep, it’s sort of a luxury item that should last. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I don’t just have that amount of expendable cash available to spend on replacing the item. And my sleep has been suffering ever since. It’s hard to get to sleep and I wake up numerous times. I think $500-800 is reasonable to send me a replacement, given the initial investment. If you just want to fork out 3-5k every 4 years to use this tech, go for it. Seems unreasonable to me.

I love it so much. Has absolutely changed my sleep for the better. The only bummer is that for some reason the middle button for Hot Flash Mode no longer works.

The product has been fantastic- Would love to upgrade to the king when I move the price is the only thing stopping me! I love that they also send replacements for pieces of equipment to better maintain the functionality.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! We slept on one for 2 years of totally normal use and woke up one night in a puddle. (This was a known flaw of the earlier designs.) The only solution offered to us from customer service was to "buy a new one.."🤣. I never post negative reviews... but I don't want others to waste money like we did!

What is time go to sleep? My bed is not adjusting to temperature and I try set up a couple times. I think so supposed to be set up start set set up hour before go to bed.

I cannot give your company enough stars. I actually connected with your CEO and sent him a message telling him how incredible your Customer Service team was. In short, they handled a situation that most companies would have just punted on.

Better sleep as 8 Sleep adjusts your bed temperature to optimal levels for a wonderful sleep. Bed vibration is a non-jarring sensation for a wake up alarm.

I like to view the recorded metrics from my night's sleep each morning. They give me an idea of how well I slept during the night and how my body is doing. I feel the metrics are generally quite accurate. They are helpful to know what actions I need to take for maximum health. They have also helped to monitor the amount of sleep I need and to get to bed on time.
