Found Electricsandlighting.co.uk most pleasant in prices, talking with and delivery.

Went to Able Electics back in 2022 to design the lighting layout for our new open plan extension. Had a good planning session reviewing the various options and left feeling confident that we had a lighting design that would work in the large multi-purpose space.
One item of the design was a Rako control system to automatically adjust the multiple lighting circuits. Unfortunately when we came to implement this it became apparent that the team in the shop are able to demonstrate the system but do not undertand the design and implementation of the system. Our electricians were getting contradictory information from Able. Cost spiralled as additional rako components which were not included in the original desing were deemed necessary. Eventually I contacted rako directly who confirmed that whilst the final design would work it was not the most efficient or economical way of achieving the desired results.
Other components were also delivered were also delivered incorrectly. We had granite workstops milled to take a recessed LED light strip, the recess was milled to the specifications provided by Able, however when the LED housing arrived it was 1mm wider than the specified recess. LED light strips which were supposed to have been cut and soldered to an exact measurement were incorrect and had to be resoldered by our electrician at the cost of a days additional labour.
Overall the lighting installation took months rather than weeks, multiple visits to Able, returned parts, delays to the overall project build and considerable additional costs.

I wanted to say BIG THANKS to Kerry and his team for providing all the information I needed, going down to the warehouse, and even taking pictures of the product I wanted to buy. They really went above and beyond to ensure me I buying the right product for my needs! That is a 6 star company. Once again - thanks!

I took my vintage rocket floor lamp to be restored. Their restorer did a fantastic job taking his time to research and find the best way to bring it back to it's original glory. I'm so happy with the end results. The staff in the show room are also very helpful they weren't sure if they could restore my lamp at first but took the time to find out and kept me up to date with the progress.

I ordered 4 wall lights from this company which were unfortunately out of stock and not available until potentially the end of June. Although I ended up finding them in stock with another vendor, Kerry at Ablectrics (aka electricsandlighting.co.uk) was always very responsive and honest from the beginning and always kept me in the loop. When I cancelled the order which I paid for through Paypal, Kerry refunded my payment within minutes of me cancelling the order. It’s a shame I had find the lights elsewhere as customer service was brilliant from this company.

I found Ablectrics in Bristol via google. after a brief chat on the phone I sent them two table lamps for re-wiring. They did say it would be about 6 weeks due to the back log of orders and Covid. I received a call 5 weeks later to say they were ready and would be sent out the following Monday. They arrived with me on the Tuesday I think it was and I have to say an excellent job they did too. Highly recommend this company for your lighting needs. David Anderson

Excellent customer service had a slight issue with PayPal which was quickly solved all items arrived safely would definitely use again.

my central heating timer became faulty so ordered one from
electrics and lighting i received it in 2 days so great service.

Came next day and the lowest price I could find.

The holes in the spacer brackets did not match the holes in the metal cover. All had to be reemed out larger with a file to assemble.Took a long time.
