Don't buy from this seller!
I ordered one in 2023 and still haven't received anything. At first they gave flimsy excuses about the production time and now they don't reply to messages anymore.
You won't get a refund either.
I managed to reach them on Facebook, but I'm pretty sure they reported my account because i was asking for my money back because the next day my account was blocked and deleted( mind you I just created the account on the day I messaged them).
Would give zero stars if I could.
Don't waste your money and your time on this scam!

Saber Never Arrived

I ordered and paid for my saber in Jan 2024 (birthday present) and it still hasn't arrived (Oct. 2025). I have been promised shipping date after shipping date, but nothing's actually happened. As far as I'm concerned, they stole 300+ dollars.

I wanted to share my incredibly disappointing experience with this company in the hopes of saving others from a similar ordeal. I placed an order in April 2023, and here I am on October 6th 2025, still waiting for the product to be built and sent to me. The owner, Dave, has been nothing but deceitful, with his constant assurances that "it will be ready soon" proving to be nothing but empty promises and lies.

When I reached out to him via email as a concerned customer, seeking a refund after waiting for two years, he responded angrily and refused my request. He even tried to make me feel guilty for asking! The company blamed a theft for the delay, but that incident occurred over two years ago, and I still have not received my order.

I feel utterly scammed, having lost $450 with nothing to show for it. To put this into perspective, my son was 14 years old when I ordered a lightsaber for his birthday, and he is now 17, still without the gift he was promised. This experience has been a hard lesson for me, and it is clear that I am not the only one who has suffered at the hands of this company.

I hope my review, along with the others for this company, can help future customers avoid the same fate. Please do not waste your time or money with this scam. You deserve better.

Man I must have been lucky cause my saber came on time and works great to this day. Chefs kiss. I am looking to upgrade the core since theres lots of competition nowadays. The pixel blade is t as bright as other saber out now (or then) but the hilt is still my favorite of my collection. I got my saber in 2023 and its 2025 now and no issues.

I've purchased a lightsaber on May 4th, 2023.

To this day (07/09/2025) my lightsaber was not built.

Contact with the owner via live chat was always nice, but he keeps making empty promises, telling me multiple times that my order would be "ready soon".

In the last 2 months I haven't been able to reach anyone at Electrum, the live chat is offline and I'm getting no reply to my messages.

He also promised me a partial refund to my credit card, which I've never received.

I'm now in contact with my lawyer and will take legal action against Electrum Sabercrafts.

Worst saber I ever purchased. I spent $700 and it worked one time. It’s the design, you have to take the entire thing apart to charge it and then try to line the pins up to put it back together. We won’t even mention the two years it took to get. Don’t waste your money here.

The saber was supposed to be a Christmas present and it arrived four months after we ordered it. It glitches and turns off when I spin it. It was shipping longer than it actually worked.

Be very wary of this company. My barely adult daughter ordered a saber which she was happy with so then ordered a 2nd saber. She is now out $700. They blame the theft they had ( not our fault as a consumer!) but won’t refund. They keep saying they’re trying but she ordered over a year ago. And I’ve been bugging them for a month. If they were to refund it would solve this issue.

Made a purchase on Sept 29, 2023 and it is now 2025 and I still have not received my product. Nothing but broken promises and lies. My account was only updated AFTER I contacted "DAVE" multiple times and was met with the same excuse over and over. Promising that my product would be shipped out in a couple weeks. Do not buy from this company. They are scammers. They will take your money, not provide a product then refuse to honor refunds. 100% a lie and a scam. They won't even answer the live chat function from their website.

I ordered in October 2023 and never received the goods. The scammers kept my money too. DO NOT BUY, THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Ordered a lightsaber 1.5 years later nothing they dont answer any emails nothing total scam

I bought a saber from them, and it was great for about a month. Then it simply stopped working. After a few weeks of emailing and troubleshooting, I sent it back to them for repairs. After a few months, I got a notification that it had been delivered, but it hadn't. They claim it was lost in transit and they would build a new one and ship it out asap. This was almost two full years ago. Their Facebook profile just posts excuses and sob stories, while they celebrate getting new orders out, but it's clear they're doing nothing about those of us who have been waiting. I've tried to request a refund, but the contact email on their website simply doesn't reply back. Don't waste your money. There are plenty of other, better sabers out there.

Its been a Year and a Half and still nothing. I also consider this a scam don't buy.

Ordered $400 lightsaber 9 months ago. Estimated 2-3 months to ship. Perfectly fine, it’s custom.

At the end of 3 months, used the site’s chat to ask for an update. Never got one. Tried to request a refund. Denied because my “order is underway!”

Tried to cancel with my bank. They said it’s been too long. (I’m in the USA, mentioning because the shop is Canada-based)

Fast forward to 6 months after order is placed. I joined Reddit. By chance, noticed the owner is active there. Apparently he posts all announcements there instead of on his own site. In r/lightsabers, people have bad things to say about the company. He usually responds. I made a post. He responded, told me to email. I did. Had to remind him via Reddit chat to respond.

We went back and forth. He says everyone with an order got an email in January about delays. I didn’t, and people on Reddit say he said the same to them but they also got nothing. I requested a timeline. He said my order is almost done and ignored the request entirely. I said I didn’t want it anymore, I wanted a refund. He said it’ll ship by the end of July so he can’t do that. Every time I emailed, I had to remind him on Reddit to answer after a couple days passed.

It’s august now. I emailed again on the first because I haven’t gotten any email update or photo confirmation as he said I would, and I haven’t gotten a response. He won’t answer me on Reddit anymore either.

So I reported him and his business to the Canadian Competition Bureau using their complaint form, and I suggest others who are suffering loss by him do the same. I know orders get to around $3k.

I purchased my first saber from electrum on May 4th 2023 during one of their special promotions. I'd done a lot of research watching youtube videos, browsing various reddit threads, etc. Everyone had Electrum highly rated specifically noting their customer service and quality of the saber. Also being able to pair the saber with your phone seemed really cool to me.

So i pulled the trigger and decided to go with Electrum. When I purchased, their website promised a 2 month estimated lead time.

Its been over a year later...and i still have not received my saber.

I get delays happen but I’m not even most upset about that. Their lack of communication and blatant lies makes it really look like a scam.

I’ve used their ‘live’ chat service on their website multiple times, 0 response.

I’ve used their email functionality on their website multiple times, 0 response.

I've emailed them directly multiple times, 0 response.

The only communication seems to come from the owner who responds to negative reddit comments in order to save his image.

Once I finally got a response from the owner, he gave me an update on lead time and promised that the saber would be shipping ’soon’. 3 months later still nothing lol.

All the broken promises and lies - From lead times, to their fake live chat service, to the zero communication.

Please avoid.

I'm not sure if this site has ever been a real place to shop, however these days is simply a SCAM, nothing more. Order placed 2 months ago, never left the "Awaiting Fulfillment" state, sent 4 messages and never got a reply back. More than 400$ lost. This is a SCAM, stay away from this place.

Took 1 and a half years to even receive it and it doesn't turn on. For about a year, they kept telling me it would be ready to ship in the next few weeks, I was told this over and over. Then when I did finally receive it, it doesn't even work and it's missing the custom engraving I paid extra for. They aren't responding to my messages since I received it. I was able to contact the owner and he keeps telling me that they sent me multiple emails about how to return it but I have received nothing from them except advertisements. He keeps telling me he will look into it and get back to me the next day, and I never hear anything back. I thought it might be a scam when it wasn't showing up, but now that I have a useless "warrantied" product, I'm even more disappointed. Horrible business considering the price of these. I wasted a lot of money on something I was initially very excited about.

Unfortunately I need to agree to the former reviewers. After over a year never received my order. Replies of Dave, if happening, are always similiar to 'You will receive your order soon'. But this doesn't happen.

If this was ever a legit business, it is not anymore. Scam and Fraud. Please beware.

Happy birthday of never receiving my order, can't open any litigation, never received any reply for my mails and account mail.

placed a order early last year,no idea whats going on with it as my last communication was in june i think.i have been waiting on my saber fo a year by now :(
