The customer service was excellent. The telephone was answered promptly. I spoke with Chloe by telephone who was able to answer my queries and very kindly sent out my order on the same day that I placed it so that I could receive it in time. Highly recommended

Products good but severe delay in shipping and unclear returns policy
Purchased two tiaras - quality good and item as described. However, there were two issue with my order:
1) The website says orders are delivered in 3-5 working days, but it took 13 working days. I was not informed until chasing up directly on the website
2) Despite the website listing 'tiaras' in a separate category to 'hair accessories', I was informed upon wanting to return one of the tiaras that it counted as a hair accessory and was therefore not possible to return. I had not opened the package.
Edited after response from seller: claims are not accurate, I have chat transcripts from 19 May and order shipment confirmation from 23 May, with the order received on the 24th.

The 3-5 working days refers only to items we have in stock. The items you purchased are hand made and made/ stored off site. Your order was placed on the 10th May at 20.48 in the evening. and was still sent out to you on the 8th working day. We have a record on our online chat that you reached out to us on 19th May asking for an update, our team replied and advised you that the delivery had been delayed due to a change in our courier and will arrive with you the following week. You then advised that you wanted them in time for a family member visiting, our agent asked if this was ok. and you didn't reply. Our agent then notified you that the items had been shipped, you again didn't reply. Regarding the website listing of Tiara's, Tiara's are a sub category in the hair accessory collection. This is because it is an accessory that is worn in the hair. These items are non refundable due to Hygiene reasons. This is clearly marked on both our returns and refunds policy and on our online returns form. This is a policy that is standard industry wide to protect our customers. I appreciate you state you have not opened the package, but as I am sure you will understand, this is not something we are able to risk. We wouldn't want to put any of our customers in harms way, which is why we have to enforce this policy so strictly. Again, as I am sure you will understand, you wouldn't want to receive an item that has already been in someone's hair. This is dangerous and unhygenic and simply not a risk we can take when it regards the health and safety of our customers. This is a policy that is also enforced upon us by our suppliers. Again, I am deeply sorry you feel let down by this policy and I do genuinely hope you are able to see our reasons behind this and how this is in place to protect customers just like you. We are extremely disappointed that you feel this way and have chosen to leave this review after we have explained this to you. We really do hope you manage to find everything for your big day and have an amazing one :) Should you need anything else, please feel free to reach out.

Under whelming
Contents of box were very under whelming.
Me and my fiancé were looking forward to opening it together and for the price of the box, the contents seemed to be very low budget.
I'm staying for another month see if it's a one off as we still love the principle behind it

A great experience with Elegance of Elena overall, I didn't end up keeping the shoes as they didn't fit but they were of superb quality and beautified packaged snd I would shop with this company again. Both Layla and Chloe kept me well updated on the delivery of a preorder pair and on the returns process and I felt well looked after.

Both girls were very welcoming and lovely, I love the little keepsake to wear in my shoes on the day too I’m also going back to get my hair piece. Would highly recommend 💕💒

Welcoming and friendly staff, we were welcomed by Layla & Chloe. We went in to get some bridal shoes for my sister! The girls knew exactly which products to show us and were extremely helpful in assisting us to pick out the right pair for the bride! Chloe has also given us some fantastic recommendations on which hair pieces look best with the bridal gown and we plan to return to buy one in the next couple of weeks. Website gave wrong stock information
Website stated the product was in stock so I placed an order. To their credit they got back to me the following day to say that there was an error on the website and they could not supply the shoes until end of May. As this was unsuitable for me I advised them that I would have to cancel my order. They thanked me for being understanding however they did not refund my payment immediately and I still had to wait the standard refund period for my money to be reimbursed (and had to chase them). I was very unhappy about this as I feel this should have been refunded immediately due to their error.

Dear Patricia, as we explained on the phone, the website was still showing stock due to the time in which you placed your order. Once all orders had been fulfilled there was no stock left and the website updated. We contacted you the following day to notify you that the item was no longer in stock and offer alternative shoes. We didn't need to do this and no other online stores would act in this way to our knowledge. We truly care about our customers (as I believe our other reviews demonstrate). I am sorry you were unhappy, but I do not see how we could have done anymore under the circumstance. We offered to work with you to find alternative shoes and awarded a full refund when you decided not to do this. The refund was then sent to our accounts team to refund. You didn't need to chase as the refund would have been processed inline with our company policies. I hope you manage to find your perfect shoes in time and if we can help in the future, please feel free to contact us.
