Great platform with excellent service

I received great and fast support for my voice model. While some internal processes aren't clearly written in the guidelines and are only learned through experience, the support team is always there to guide you professionally.

Incredible innovation and reliability.

ElevenLabs.io has been an incredible partner for our business. We heavily rely on their platform for our conversational agents, and they consistently deliver top-tier quality. We trust them implicitly with our future development roadmap. The team is so innovative that they seem to be developing features and solving problems before we even know we have a need for them. A fantastic service that we will definitely keep using!

Not very good

Not very good - I had over 200,000 credits which I'd paid for, I downgraded my subscription and it wiped all of them.

The speech model itself is OK but the interface is a bit clunky and hard to understand.

The problem is eleven labs is doing their best to rip you off instead of allow you to retain what you've already paid for and use it when you're ready to.

We’re currently using ElevenLabs to power voice experiences inside Maigie, our AI-driven academic platform, and the results have been impressive.

The voice quality is incredibly natural and expressive; it doesn’t sound robotic or flat like many alternatives. For an education-focused product, tone and clarity are crucial, especially when students are consuming tutorials or AI-generated explanations. ElevenLabs excels in this regard.

Integration via API and SDK has been smooth, and performance has been reliable so far. It’s flexible enough to support different use cases, from tutorial narration to AI assistant responses and video content.

As a startup founder, a few things I’d love to see improved over time:

1. More granular control over emotional consistency in longer explanations

2. Startup-friendly scaling tiers as usage grows

Overall, ElevenLabs is a powerful platform for anyone building serious voice-enabled products. We’re excited to keep building with it and see how it evolves.

5 Stars for ElevenLabs Support

I had a truly excellent experience with the ElevenLabs Support Team.

The response was fast, professional, and incredibly helpful. Communication was clear, friendly, and solution-oriented from start to finish. I felt taken seriously as a long-term customer, and everything was handled smoothly and efficiently.

It is rare to experience support that is both technically competent and genuinely kind at the same time. This interaction definitely strengthened my trust in ElevenLabs as a company.

Very disappointed with ElevenLabs

Very disappointed with ElevenLabs. My 1-month subscription expired in 15 days, and the billing explanation was confusing. Support did not resolve the issue on time. Not a good experience.

The worst non existent customer…

The worst non existent customer service. You can only get ai chat bots and ai chat bot responses. Their billing will automatically switch to yearly on purchase and you will not be able to get your money back. The ai will run you in circles.

I had a very positive experience with ElevenLabs support. Keitha was extremely responsive, patient, and solution-oriented throughout the entire process. I ran into a few technical issues while switching subscription plans, and she followed up consistently until everything was fully resolved.

Two Years in and still Loving It!

I’ve been with Eleven Labs for nearly two years and I’ve never had anything but positive experiences. They deliver what their company represents and can be counted on. I use Eleven Labs as part of the voice community as well as a creator. They’re always a short email away if I have a question. I’ve never worried about getting what I pay for. The service is exceptional and friendly. There’s also a discord channel with a wealth of information and an awesome community. The available tools, even at lower tiers, are varied enough for anyone to create successful projects. I’m very happy with the relationship I have with them. I give them 5 stars.

It was impossible to even get started…

It was impossible to even get started with. The "help" was entirely AI that never helped resolve any of the many problems I had. I would upload a book, create a voice, but then could never connect the two. It kept blaming everything but itself. Clearly, this website was created by AI and NEVER debugged by humans. 0/10. I cancelled my subscription and will never go back.

Their solutions were full of bugs, making the service useless to me. Their customer service via email is only an AI, and they refused to refund even though I barely used the service

Thanos snapped tens of voice models.

What a rug pull. So they are going to depreciate tens of voices by the end of February 2026, and with a snap of the finger those will be gone. Not hidden away in some sub-menu for old models... Nope! Just deleted forever. I specifically used default voices because I didn't want to bother with expiry dates on voices from explore tab, so how about just keeping the 'legacy voices' in a proper compartment instead of just pulling Adobe Animate for those who use your product? They can talk all they want about new tech and old being old, but sometimes it's not all about tech, but user experience, and this is the worst, I've seen in a long time.

Had two issues - Look elsewhere

Had two issues. First, they are not price competitive in the least. Second, I was working on a social media video regarding a non-profit that housed and employed child sex offenders and in this instance, it "flagged" it. One other issue I bring up is the non-stop ability to "suggest" upgrades. I found a competitor that much more reasonably priced and outstanding TTS. In closing, I learned my lesson thanks to them and in the future will perform a much longer introductory period.
