I purchased a gift card for my wife who spent it on the site, made an order, and wanted to return some items back onto the gift card for a future purchase.
However, she has been refused as she purchased from the outlet, and she was told that outlet items are non-refundable. Unbeknown to her at the time of purchase.
So I browsed your site as if I was a consumer, to see if it's easy and straightforward to know about this policy as a consumer. I encourage you to do the same. It's not easy at all to know about this. It does not state it on the Outlet collections page, nor does it state it on the discounted product pages, nor does it state it 'above the fold' on the returns policy page.
In fact, if a consumer was diligent enough to check the returns policy page, within the first paragraph, they would be reassured that the returns policy is 14 days. As, in this initial paragraph or two, nothing regarding the outlet / discounted products being an exception is stated.
I urge you to be fair and reconsider. Ecommerce is also my area of business, and this is not a fair way to deal with a consumer, given the customer journey I've described above.
