Elite chambers. Update
After writing a complaint on this site about Elite Chambers I had a rapid response from a representative called Didi Chrysler who agreed I had been treated badly and offered to mediate. One month exactly has passed in which I have contacted him several times, all of which were not convenient because of his domestic situation. Other times resulted in his not calling at the agreed time, my calling with no response or it was inconvenient. This company acted in breach of data protection laws initially and did not fulfil three promises to put this right. This latest experience only reinforces my extremely dim view of this company: not professional, not ethical. I would give no stars if I could.
Update. I have now received an apology and a complimentary present which went some way to appeasing me BUT there has still been a data breach as I have checked we are on the MPS register and always have been. Despite this, Elite chambers managed to obtain my address and have sent me several mailings over the past year specifically referring to a poor investment I made. Phone calls and e mails requesting removal from their data base and no more mailings were ignored. Didi Chrysler apologised further and promised to investigate this. Thank you.

I would like to apologise unreservedly and publicly on this forum for your experience to date.
At the same time, and without diminishing your concerns, I would like to respond with the following points:
It is correct that following our first conversation I was unavailable on several occasions when you attempted to reach me, and I did miss a scheduled call that we had agreed to.
During our initial conversation, when I asked for a convenient time to call, you explained that your schedule is such that I should not call you and that you would call me.
In my desire to address the matter you raised, I over promised and under delivered and for that I am sorry.
To provide context for my 'domestic situation' - as you put it - at the time, immediately following our initial contact, I left for two weeks of annual leave with my family and each time you called I was out with my children.
In retrospect, the most appropriate course of action would have been to explain this to you when we first spoke and then to schedule a time to speak on my return.
Following my return, you informed me that you were away for some time and would not be able to speak.
While you were away, I sent you a letter apologising for the fact that we had not yet spoken properly and explaining that I hoped we could speak when you were back.
Regarding an alleged breach of data protection laws by the company, I would like to place on record that this is incorrect and I look forward to discussing this matter with you at a mutually convenient time.
