Elite vac lie and steals your your money
I ordered on a Sunday then 30 min later changed my mind and cancelled the order. They told me the order was already shipped and they could not cancel. When I insisted they cancel they did but charged me a £27.84 restock fee. This company lies and steals your money.
Not the model I was expecting
Not the model I was expecting. I read reviews & ordered an Elitevac. I now realise even the customer reviews site was a scam. I was sent a Buture model which I've never heard of. I don't know yet if it's any good as I've only just opened it & was looking it all up because it was a different model. I don't hold out much hope of getting any money back, based on people's comments
I wish i hadnt ordered an elitevac
I ordered an elitevac, high spec for £179. My wife called me and said "this vacuum is called Butune". I naturally looked on website and found that their similar model, VC80 could be bought for £113. I sent off the contact form, asking why they had done this, got a load of excuses back and offer of free 3yr guarentee. Got home after my shift and found it was the Butune VC60, which some are selling at £69 with 3yr warranty. Sent another reply back about this price difference. I was offered £30 refund for my inconvenience. So they wanted to keep £149 of my money and I get a vacuum worth £69.00. And their returns policy, Nope, didnt get that either. had to pay for the return of the item.
useless, pathetic excuse of a vacuum cleaner
Very poor excuse of a vacuum. Totally useless picking up fluff off carpets and the vacuum head brush is so soft it can't agitate the smallest particles from even hard surfaces.
The auto mode seems just to light up the panel and does not adjust to.the surface being hoovered. Auto mode so useless I use manual mode, on max, and the battery life is about 10mins.
I wish now I had noticed the spelling mistakes on their website - that should have been warning enough to look elsewhere
The LED lights are useful as they show up the dirt and fluff this vacuum is not capable of picking up so I could get the old vacuum to clear up what this excuse of a vacuum couldn't do!!
Poor excuse for a vacuum!
I purchased this hoover after reading they were the number 1 hand held vacuum. The suction is terrible and not up to the job on carpets. Anything that does manage to get sucked in, then ends up stuck around the the central drum affecting its suction even more. I tried to get a refund and was told it must be faulty and to send it back for replacement. The postage would be at my cost! I fear reading the reviews I will never get all my money back and the replacement won't be any better. If you are looking for a hoover that looks great with poor suction , then this is the product for you. It's not fit for purpose! I think its number 1 listing is just a marketing ploy.
SCAM company using at least one other company name RAVENO
This company as trades as RAVENO for de humidifiers. The products are not as stated and they charge extortionate amounts for refunds if you manage to get one. SCAM stay away from RAVENO also
Avoid this company like the plague
It appears I'm not the only one defrauded here. Ordered an EliteVac and got sent a ButureVac - a product substantially cheaper. These people just ignore consumer law - if you order online you can return without giving a reason within a certain time. They could charge for that if they state upfront BUT as they delivered a product not ordered they are obliged under consumer law to take it back and give a full refund. As per other complaints, they have kept back £57.84 of my money. Unfortunately for them they have now committed an offence under criminal law namely fraud. I have reported this to the police. I urge anyone who is in the same position to do the same
Absolutely shocking!
Absolutely shocking!! Terrible customer service. Have ben charged £56.25 for a hoover that never got delivered. Avoid this company at all costs!! Have been chasing payment for weeks. First review I've ever written. I don't how then can away with this. I am not the only one by the looks of it.
No model Name on order, beware!
Ordered cordless vac online after reading a good review of the product online. Received a Buture VC50 which is widely available at half that price and definitely isn't the one I read about in the review as it had hair removal system. A fake review online advised that EliteVac was the best budget Vac and had anti hair wrap technology. What arrived was a basic vac worth about half of what I paid. Very disappointed, avoid this company.
Scam company ... DO NOT ORDER!
Placed an order with them and a friend told me two of her friends had been conned by them. They send out a cheaper model only worth £91 and when you've paid £179, it's a bit of a joke!
I emailed to cancel the order and ask for a refund. We went backwards and forwards and I told them I was aware they were a scam company. They then tried to say there would be a 15% cancellation fee and I refused to pay them anything.
I opened a PayPal dispute immediately, they tried it on with the 15% cancellation fee again and I refused.
Eventually they refunded my money in total.
They also set up a fake Top 5 cordless vacuum cleaner page, showing their product as the best.
Avoid like The Plague! Total rip off!
Scam. Avoid at all costs.
As others have stated, this is a scam. Avoid at all costs.
These are scammers and rip off…
These are scammers and rip off merchants. Avoid avoid avoid. I cancelled an order within an hour of placing it and I still haven’t had any money back (179.99). They keep saying that a charge of 15% applies. I don’t think this is lawful. They say it’s to cover admin shipping and warehousing costs when the item hadn’t even shipped. They also sell an inferior product so please take heed and avoid at all costs. This firm will rip you off!!!!
Absolute Rip Off…Avoid..Avoid..Avoid!!
Firstly, they do not deserve any stars at all.
Everything said about this very poor imitation of a Vacuum, Elitevac/“Buture” is true. From receipt it was no good, returned and the charge of £30 quote direct from there “Customers Services”…
“The £30 postage fee includes shipping fee, loading fee, labour fee, outgoing fee, re-stocking fee, system photo uploading fee, etc. for delivering the item to you”.
Is scandalous bordering on daylight robbery as we paid for return and Product is advertised as “Free Delivery”..
DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS SO CALLED COMPANY OR PRODUCT.
Bunch of Robbing Lying people
Bunch of Robbing Lying people . Delivered order,
doesn't work, cost 179 pounds, no return label sent, no replacement sent, no refund two weeks on. This is a Chinese company, unethical, fraudulent dishonest. So so angry with myself for ordering this. Do NOT deal WiTH THIS COMPANY Fraudsters!
Beware of this company Elite they are…
Beware of this company Elite they are advertising cordless hoover as Elite @ £179, when the hoover was delivered it was a Buture. The very same vacume and advert on Butures site is priced @ £91.
Emailed Elite they replied with there model it is far more superior than and powerful than Butures own model they are identical even the advert is the same.
Elitevac or buture?
Good service and quick reply on the 24hr help line. I do question the cordless Hoover I received as I expected it to be Elitevac by name and received a Buture? I have now seen the same product a lot cheaper on other sites/apps and feel disappointed and slightly aggrieved. As for the vacuum I am ok with it so far. Mixed feelings about this purchase.
No, No, No, NO! Do NOT waste your money!
Please do NOT even attempt to submit an order with this company.
The online reviews on comparison sites are clearly paid reviews.
I submitted an order then within 12 hours emailed to cancel the order and arrange a refund. That was 5 days ago and I have received multiple emails back and forth trying to persuade me to keep the order and no confirmation that my order has been cancelled and refund processed.
They have also charged a 15% ‘handling fee’ where they are withholding the fee due to my reasons for cancelling.
I have never been so frustrated at trying to get a refund and all whilst being 38 weeks pregnant 😢
Please do NOT waste your time and money on this because the stress and hassle is not worth it.
They are a Chinese company and I have therefore reported them via international consumer standards but it isn’t enough for the problems that I’m still experiencing.
Worst hoover of all timeThey can't help
They can't help. They offer direct on line from them a Battery Operated Stick Hoover known as Buture Pro, at £179. This exact same hoover is sold on Amazon at £129.99. Okay, a company can sell their products at whatever price they like, there is no law against it but, i consider it disgusting that the company direct should charge much more and we are talking about a whopping £50 more than a third party. Setting this aside, the product itself is rubbish. The one we bought, the roller keeps dropping off and the suction power is useless. Even if you set it on its incorporated high power setting it no good. If you choose to use this setting, then the battery drains and doesn't last 5 minutes before you have to recharge. Avoid this product and look carefully at any other of their products. This hoover is useless and we have taken to a charity shop, maybe someone can make some use of it. Honestly, you would get a better result by using a dustpan and brush
Only received partial refund I returned a vacuum cleaner completely…
I returned a vacuum cleaner completely intact in original wrapping. I was only partly refunded. When I asked the reason I was told if I returned it for personal reasons I would be charged 15 per cent. It turns out I was charged 35 per cent plus I paid my own postage so this is very dishonest. Very difficult to get anywhere with their customer service. They advertise they are Elitevac uk but they are a Chinese company. I would not recommend dealing with this company.
Careful they charge you for cancellations
Ordered a cordless vac based on a review from what I thought was a trusted review website but Im now questioning that opinion. Very possibly a paid review.
Anyway Im going offtrack a little.
The vac said it had anti hair wrap technology but upon further inspection of the pics all I could see was a groove that would make it easier to remove the hair but certainly wouldnt stop it wrapping up in the first place and since I have a vac like that already I decided to cancel. (on the same day as ordering I should add)
So I sent them an email and got a fairly decently quick reply telling me that they would accept my cancellation based on their returns policy. I though okay but Im not returning anything you havent sent it out yet.
Then the refund arrived but wasnt a FULL refund. I sent another email asking why it wasnt in full and then did some digging on their website to find it says in the FAQ they dont refund postage I would of been ok with that had it been sent but since they make you pay for return also its a bit BS.
I got a reply though saying "it clearly states they charge you 15% if the reason you are returning is because of you." (if it clearly states this I didnt see it when ordering so its not that clear).
Im sorry but if I walk in a shop pick up an item walk around the store with it and then decide to put it back they dont charge me 15% of the purchase cost.
I replied to their email and pointed this out but also pointed them to the consumer rights act or part of it at least www legislation gov uk/uksi/2013/3134/regulation/34/made (not allowed to post links but the info is important for those that get stung like this so hopefully this is ok)
I have now recieved my 15% back but please be warned this is not a company I would put any trust in if this is how they choose to do business.
