Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 201 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently found that products, often advertised as stained glass, were instead made of cheap plastic or resin. Many also reported that items were significantly smaller than depicted in online images and did not match the advertised quality or craftsmanship. The website was often perceived as misleading, showing enhanced photos and implying local handcrafted production that did not align with the received goods. However, some customers also noted that products, despite being implied as locally made, were manufactured and shipped from China. This led to frustration, particularly when attempting returns, as the process often involved shipping items back to China at the customer's expense. Reviewers consistently felt that the items were drastically overpriced for their actual quality, often comparing them to dollar store products.

Such a shame

Such a shame, this company is a scam and I’m so disappointed. Their story of being a handcrafted Seattle based company is BS. The product is awful and they ship from China. I wish I could upload a photo.

Got scammed big time

Got scammed big time! I ordered one for my mom and I could never consider giving this TINY piece of plastic junk to anyone as it belongs in the garbage which is where I put it. I DON’T recommend buying anything from this scam company. IT TOOK FOREVER TO ARRIVE AND TO RETURN IT YOU HAVE TO PAY SO I DID NOT BOTHER! This is considered a one and done purchase….. 😡

A complete fraud (lie) !

A complete fraud, after a delay in the shipping, the dogs were smaller than shown, made of cheap material not even glass, Looked like could have been bought at a cheap 2nd hand junk shop for $5.00 Never again will I believe or buy. Was sickening, like burning 🔥 $$

My bad

My bad, being fooled by the "American-sounding" name and pictures, etc. Expected to get a colorful plastic mosaic lamp, instead got a cheap, tiny little plastic dog that looks like it was painted with crayons. Sadly, it was THE ONE present I didn't research, and I kick myself for spending $40 on this junk. Even the $20 I see it advertised for is way too much. Plus, took over a month to be delivered, but they state it was "on time."

Below one star …

If I could rate them below one star I certainly would. I was emotionally invested and taken advantage of. I wish I had taken the time to find legit reviews like the ones listed here. The Campanion was vinyl, looking like a kindergarten child used felt markers to paint by number the puffy paint outlined squares . I was More than disappointed with this purchase. I'm not spending more money on returning the product. I'll send it to the trash bin.

Took forever to get the product from…

Took forever to get the product from China. Odd that all the company description are of 2 sad sisters in Seattle. There are no words to compare this horrid tiny piece of plastic to the words ‘stained glass’. All the pictures depict a different inference that it is of a reasonable size and colorful while it is neither. Now I am finished with buying anything advertised on Facebook as there is nothing accurate, even the name of the company. Wish I could submit the side by side photo.

This is a scam

This is a scam. The product you get is cheap plastic, nowhere near the size they show in their pictures, and the colors are pathetic. You request a refund and they make you pay to send it back to some Asian country or keep it for a 10% refund. I am filing a claim with Visa. Please spread the word on social media so we can shut down this fake company that is scamming people with false advertising.

Biggest scam ever

Biggest scam ever! Light that is sold as stained glass is actually 3D printed and looks god awful. When I complained they responded with let us give you a 10% refund so you can avoid paying shipping cost!!!!!! What a joke and completely disgusting. Do not trust this site or buy anything from them.

Total rip off and a scam

I encourage anyone that has been scammed by Ellie-Seattle to complete a quick on line report to these internet crime complaint government websites for internet fraud.

ic3.gov
ReportFraud.ftc.gov

Total rip off and a scam. I found out too late that the entire website is AI generated. There is nothing stained glass about the article I received. It is cheap plastic like you would get from the dollar tree with a smell that I can’t even describe. In order to get your refund you have to pay for international shipping to Asia yourself. Oh, but they do offer a 10% refund and let you keep the item if you’d like to do that. I would encourage anybody that’s been ripped off by this company to place a dispute with your credit card company. The item was shipped to me from an address in new Oxford, Pennsylvania. When I googled that address, it comes up as a U-Haul rental place and a storage facility. Also probably scams.

Scam Company

Like all the others I wish I’d done a little research before spontaneously purchasing a cat lamp and book coffee mug. It wasn’t until after I contacted them for tracking information that I realized my mistake. The product was being shipped from China not Seattle.

You will receive “something” but it will be the equivalent of a toddler’s art product if toddlers were allowed to play with lead and other noxious substances. The items actually Stank and left a grainy substance on my hands. I tossed them into the trash, cost be damned.

I too wish I could attach a photo of what I received. The stained glass cat looked nothing like the picture at all. It was a hard plastic, vaguely cat shaped blob painted over in various colors of chunky peeling paint. Knowing China’s penchant to track everything and everyone, I didn’t even plug it into my computer, via its USB chord. Even if it lit up, it would still not have resembled the ordered item. There was no point in allowing this scam company to install malware on any of my devices to see exactly how off it was from what I ordered.

As for the coffee mug, it was shorter than a coffee mug normally is and while the exterior at least resembled books, again it was hard plastic. Further there was an inner metal lining that is not visible at all in the online pics. Thinking to salvage some of the order if only for the mug to hold paper clips, I washed it. Water and suds immediately collected between the plastic and the metal lining and since growing mold isn’t a past time for me, I tossed that too.

I emailed the company the pics of the items received, but of course they only came back with “we will give you 10 percent to just keep it.” I think it shows exactly how bad the quality of the items were as well as how scammy the company truly is, that I refused to receive even $7 back from them. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the cat came in a box labeled with the stickers and stamped with Mr Glow, another scam company! They don’t even attempt to hide how disreputable they are!

I immediately froze the card it was purchased with. This is obviously a scam company.

What a complete rip off

What a complete rip off! The item sent looked worse than something you’d buy at the dollar store! I wish I could attach picture of what I bought vs what received, not even close! Then required I mail it to China for a refund.

The product received was clearly…

The product received was clearly falsely advertised with the picture of the product while ordering, which a couple were making the product looking like stained glass. The picture with two women standing in front of a shelf with the same product you Thought you were selling. But I was wrong. I received an embarrassing plastic, cheaply made and much smaller than the product, which again I say, was falsely advertised. It is ugly and I hate it. I want a full refund with no return fees.

PIECE OF JUNK!!

PIECE OF JUNK!!! BEWARE! This is NOT stained glass but plastic! The website is fake and they are NOT sisters or friends from Seattle going out of business. I asked for a refund and not only do you have to pay for it but you have to send it to China. My mistake for not researching so learn from me. I’m not returning it because I will lose that money too I am sure.
This place should be shut down!

ADVERTISING TOTALLY MISLEADING!!!!

ADVERTISING TOTALLY MISLEADING!!!!! Ad says product is hand crafted glass pieces to form animal lamps. What came was TOTALLY ONE PIECE OF PLASTIC made in China. Much smaller than depicted. At the most, worth probably 5 to $10. I was duped out of nearly $100.

Do NOT order from this company

Do NOT order from this company. I ordered 2 stained glass animals and they are nothing but tiny painted plastic. They advertise 80% OFF, when it isn't even worth $5. It is a toy not a beautiful piece of stained glass that is advertised as 10 times larger than it actually is. No invoice or return slip so you are stuck with it. Save your money

Ellie Seattle products

The quality of the products is poor. There are no stained glass in the dog lamps only inferior plastic "stuff". The mugs are very similar. The dog lamp is only 6" high and very poorly made. Big disappointment in their quality!!!@@

AI scam company

AI scam company, identical to sites like Mr Glow and others. What you see is not what you get. At best you'll get a cheap lump of plastic, of you get anything at all.
