I've been rarely scammed, but I was in this case. The item received was plastic and poorly painted. It didn't even come close to looking like the stained-glass item advertised. As I should have antic... See more

One star were the least I could give
One star were the least I could give. This Chinese own company like most websites are created to trick customers in buying the product that is nothing what the description and photo on the website shown. Scam!! They make it difficult to do a return/refund as well. I been emailing their customer support team to cancel my orders before label was created or shipped. I was told via email to wait until my order arrived which that took over 10 days. As soon I receive my order I opened one of my orders and was so disappointed. It looks like a cheap plastic with hot glue on the wire to USB cord. It was badly painted on and much smaller than the photo shown with the woman sat on her bed next to the cute dog lamp on her end table. Every description and photo is a lied. Now I am waiting for the return address so I can pay for my return back to mainland China.
SCAM ALERT Do not buy from this…
SCAM ALERT Do not buy from this company. China based fake company they make them look like they're stain glass it's plastic they make them look big the dog is 3 inches tall. I ordered a German shepherd they sent a sheepdog it even said sheepdog on the tag. They sent me on another one it was a sheepdog. It said sheepdog on the tag as well when I contacted them my third time they argued and said that it was a German Shepherd so I sent picture side-by-side asking him about that looks like the same thing. Then they text me or emailed me and said they would refund me 30% so I didn't have to go through the trouble of boxing it up and pay for shipping. It's already boxed up. And why would I have to pay for the shipping even if so I would still come out ahead getting 100% back if I had to pay for shipping. Total scam do not buy they do not have half of the supplier shows on the pictures they'll just send you a sheepdog.
Don't be fooled by the name.
Same experience as everyone else fooled by the name. Got 2 ugly pieces of plastic. Spent over $80 for junk that i just threw away. I felt like an idiot when they showed up.
Buyer Beware Deceptive Marketing
I want to share my experience so others don’t fall into the same trap—buyer beware.
I came across an ad for what appeared to be beautiful, high-quality Tiffany-style glass lamps from ellie-seattle.com, presented as being made by artists in Seattle, Washington. The photos showed stunning, detailed pieces—large enough to sit prominently on a nightstand, clearly made of real glass, and designed with incredible craftsmanship. Wanting to support what I believed were local artists (especially since they were advertising a “farewell sale”), I ordered five of them. They even had an option to donate extra money, which made it feel even more personal and genuine.
When the package arrived, I immediately knew something was off. There was no way those large, detailed lamps could all fit inside one small box—and they didn’t. What I received were tiny, cheap, plastic lamps—nothing like what was advertised. They are smaller than a standard water bottle and look like low-quality novelty items, not handcrafted Tiffany lamps. The materials feel flimsy, the designs are poorly made, and they look nothing like the photos.
To make matters worse, I later realized the products shipped from China, not Seattle, and the listing appears to use AI-generated or heavily edited images to misrepresent both the size and quality. These lamps are not worth anywhere near the $55 each that I paid—I wouldn’t value them at even $10.
After doing more research, I found that many other customers are reporting the exact same experience—receiving tiny plastic items instead of glass lamps, with misleading advertising and difficult return processes . Some reports even suggest the site may be a scam or at least highly deceptive .
This felt incredibly deceptive. The marketing plays on emotion, using a “closing business” story and imagery that suggests you’re supporting real artists—but that’s not what this is.
I won’t be going through the hassle of returning them, but I felt strongly about warning others. What you see is absolutely not what you get
DO NOT purchase from this Company!
DO NOT purchase from this Company!
This is a TOTAL SCAM!! These are not authenticate stain glass lamps. They are cheap plastic painted that come from overseas. When you try to return the item they tell you that you have to return at your expense back to the overseas destination which will cost you more than you paid for it! So instead they offer you a 30% refund (which I guess is better than nothing). Which amounted to about $13 in my case. This is quite the money making SCAM! The BBB really should shut this place down!
Contact your credit card company or bank asap with a fraud complaint! Get your money back!!!
Do not let them win! Contact your credit card company and file a fraud report! You will get your money back! This place is a scam and are cheating customers!! File a fraud complaint asap and get all your money back! What they are doing is illegal!!Run don’t walk away from this company. Looks like stain glass in the advertisement and appears much larger. When it comes it is cheap resin plastic that is chipping and the light is very dim. Also it does not have a standard electric cord but requires an adapter to be able to plug in. It is dollar store junk and my credit card got hacked in Asia 2 days after I ordered this. Quite a coincidence and their return policy is ridiculous and I bet unable to obtain. Please do not buy from this company!!! Save yourself a headache and possible credit card hacking.
The stained glass lamps are cheap poorly painted plastic. The pictures are fake in the website
Unfortunately I purchased the "stained" glass puppy lamp. The picture on the website is not what I revieved. I recieved a cheap plastic lamp approximately half the size of the lamp shown in the picture. The picture obviously is fake, the product looks nothing like the picture. I tried to return it for a refund and they try to get you to keep it saying that customers are responsible for return shipping and they're located in asia so it will be expensive. The whole website is fake apparently. It shows two american like women on the front implying that the lamps are hand crafted with pride. They are not. It is too cheap and ugly to use. I will throw it away and accept the lesson learned.
Fake
Fake. They do not make stain glassed items . They are not going out of business. They drop ship cheap plastic lights. they are not glass. Woold not buy if it were
100% off. Stay away from this business!!
SCAM-do not buy
I would rate it zero if I could. Stained glass my ass this is flat out fraud!! No glass at all just a junk store piece of china garbage!!!! I find better quality at the neighborhood dollar store!!!!
This was so disappointing
This was so disappointing. You people should be ashamed!! False advertising to the max. Enjoy your fraud money!! Not happy at all.
Their practice style
I regret deeply that I spent my money to buy on line three lamps from a fake, unreliable compamy !!! they just were disappered, No clear shipping tracking records could be found, assuming from China (why ??, supposed to be from California) It is definite a scam, unsure when I will be getting what I ordered (or refund my money), no their contact numers, they got the money but no follow-ups from them.
I would rate 0 if possible
I would rate 0 if possible. I ordered two stain glass dogs for christmas gifts and never received. I have attempted to contact them numerous times with no reply. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.
Cheap crap
Cheap crap; not worthy of one star. A brass "desk lamp" in the picture, a 6"x 3" piece of plastic with the candle power of a night light.
Just received the ordered chi-lamp
Just received the ordered chi-lamp. It is NOT stained glass; it is poorly marker/pained plastic. I have seen better craftsmanship on a state fair stuffy! Return policy is a joke as well. DON'T fall for this scam!
False advertisement
If I could put a 0 i would. Stained glass lamps?? More like a 3 Inch plastic light. Please . If anyone out there is thinking about ordering from these rip off liers. Selling people crap. Don't do it.... just don't.
Scam
If there's an option for zero star, that's what I would give this company. Their product is plastic not stained glass. I will report them to business bureau for scamming people! So frustrating.
Terrible. Scam.
Terrible, the worst experience ever. They promote the delivery as UPS when it's no more than TEMU, which takes for ever to arrive, information they don't tell you in advance. The worst quality materials, opaque and cheap plastic, a LOT smaller size than shown on pictures, and the price, outrageous for what you get. Don't you fall on this scam. They shouldn't allow this business to operate.
They sent me the wrong product twice
They sent me the wrong product twice. Still charged me for more expensive product I never received, plus charging me for wrong product they sent to me twice. Don't trust companies when their promised deals are too good to be true. Don't buy from Ellie.seattle they are just a big fraud. At this point I'm just taking the loss, so I don't have to deal with them again.
I didn't buy anything thankfully
I didn't buy anything thankfully. I looked at the 2 women and it looked AI generated and that made me suspicious plus I noticed 20k people bought handmade lamps that 2 sisters made??? Didn't make sense and sure enough, every review here is 1 star. I am surprised this company isn't be fined or shutdown. Buyers beware.
