Overpriced rubbish It felt as if it was all just an excuse to get more money out of you. The entrance was the first of 3 bars you go to, the 2nd been the blue Hawaii interval bar and the 3rd was wher... See more
Beware of buying extras that are not there when you arrive!
Our son bought us tickets as a present along with many extras including a sharing food platter (£45). We arrived to be told platter was uavailable and our son was refunded. We contacted him and he had no refund. Manager promised it would be refunded and to this day 16 days later still no refund. Prices are over the top in any case but to then be robbed of £45 is disgusting. Worse still, the promise by the manager was not actioned. It cost us even more money because we had to buy food.
Please beware!

An absolutely brilliant romp through Elvis's life.
An absolutely brilliant romp through Elvis's life. The actors were amazing, the music was great and both bands were very good. I would recommend this show to anyone who is an Elvis fan.
Very Disappointing and Not Worth £156
Very Disappointing and Not Worth £156
I bought VIP tickets for Elvis Evolution (£156 for two tickets) as a Christmas gift for my 79 year old Mum, so we had been looking forward to the experience for a long time (2 years).
We travelled from Swansea and South West London and also paid for parking and other travel costs, expecting a high-quality immersive production in line with the way the event is marketed.
Unfortunately the experience did not meet those expectations at all. The production felt limited in scale and depth and did not resemble the premium immersive event suggested by the advertising or the VIP price.
Rather than a music led experience, it felt more like a walk through theatrical story with projection screens and very little actual performance. Much of it felt uncomfortable and cringeworthy to watch and we ultimately chose to leave halfway through.
Looking around the room, several other guests also appeared confused or disengaged by what was happening.
The staff we spoke to on the day, including the manager on duty, were kind and understanding, which we appreciated. However, that does not change the fact that the overall experience was very disappointing and did not feel like good value for money.
It’s a shame because the concept has potential, but in its current form it simply wasn’t worth the price. I have contacted the organisers directly and hope they will review the situation. We tried ... rude and never use again ...

The king of rock
I want to start by saying Elvis Evolution was completely different from what I was expecting — but it was absolutely brilliant. We had such a fantastic time, and for us it was a real trip down memory lane after previously visiting Graceland in Memphis.
If you’re expecting ABBA’s ABBA Voyage, this is nothing like that. It’s not a virtual concert — it’s a fully immersive experience. It’s incredibly clever how they take you through Elvis Presley’s journey from his birth right through to his passing.
The actors, singers, and musicians are absolutely amazing. Every single detail has been thought about — from the costumes to the stage settings — and it really brings the whole story to life. You genuinely feel part of it.
We even grabbed food and drinks while we were there, and everything was great. I would 100% recommend it. It’s a shame it hasn’t taken off as well as they’d hoped because it truly deserves more credit than people are giving it.
Worse than expected
I’d read the press stories, but Elvis Evolution was worse than expected.
To be fair we knew others found it to be disappointing, based on how it was originally billed as a holographic show, but we were hoping for a level of enjoyment as it’s supposed to be immersive.
Based around the ‘68 tv special we began with an enthusiastic cast of characters consisting of a tv producer, asst. producer and 3 band members, whose job it was to warm us up, then, after some bizarre figure in black appeared in a mist filled doorway, we moved to a set built as a train carriage, where we sat and watched a condensed synopsis of Elvis life up to 1968 on a big screen with some live interaction. It felt rushed and gimmicky.
We then moved to what can only be described as a time wasting holding area (basically a bar supposedly resembling Hawaii but with little atmosphere and overpriced drinks) for 30/40mins, whilst some not very good performers sang a few Elvis songs.
We were finally shepherded into the “NBC studio” to “watch” the recording of the ‘68 special, which comprised of 3 musicians on a mock stage playing in front of a big screen showing scenes from the ‘68 special…after that you finished up in another bar with a not very good female performer singing Elvis songs…at that point we made our escape, but straight into the waiting arms of the photo sellers … £25 for 2 prints in a booklet 🫣
In summary, the £7 booking fee per ticket and money grabbing opportunities (bar prices and photos), coupled with disappointing performances, makes it a “one to miss”.
The only thing worth the money was the cloakroom, at £2 per coat it was the most cost effective part of the whole experience.
My mum, who is of the Elvis generation, described it as “amateurish”.
I feel sorry for the performers and staff as they have very little to work with and in some cases, we’re not up to the task.
Cringeworthy best describes parts of the experience.
I loved it!!
it’s exactly what it says it is, Elvis EVOLUTION, amazing show!! It takes you through elvis’ childhood to his stardom, with lots of amazing actors and singers throughout. They really were the highlight of the show, they 50s american atmosphere was super thanks to the actors before the show even began, and the singers were AMAZING, would definitely pay the same price if not more just to see them sing. The band were extremely lively and interacted with us while playing elvis instrumentals. Overall, everything was great (staff, actors, band, show itself) and worth every penny, do not listen to the bad reviews demanding a refund, i’ve read through some of them and they are extremely exaggerated and not at all what the show was like.
Don't listen to the negative reviews
Don't listen to the negative reviews! We all had the best time, you go on a interactive journey through Elvis's life, lots of singing and dancing! We also loved the cocktails at the bar half way through!! We had food at the end and even more dancing!!! Thank you for a fun evening!
I already went twice (Dec & Feb)
I already went twice (Dec & Feb) ! It's great fun, the actors/singers are fantastic - there is a lot of live music throughout the show, you can dance and have some drinks & food :)
Its in the title EVOLUTION.…
Its a shame that there are so many negative reviews about this experience.Yes if you go thinking your going to get an Abba Voyage hologram show, you will be dissapointed but if you go with an open mind, wanting to be entertained for a couple of hours, you will enjoy it.Its the sorry of Elvis's rise to fame from a small boy,to his comeback show on NBC television, his "Evolution",done through music, singing and acting, all the performers were great and the various sets gave a real feel of the time. As i said keep an open mind,we 3 family members really enjoyed it.
Not even worthy of 1 star
Not even worthy of 1 star! Missold. Misrepresented. Overpriced. Not representative of the legacy of EP. More akin to a school play than a high tech immersive experience. Initially promoted as containing holograms/cutting edge technology/AI & virtual reality - end product failed to deliver any!
If I could give zero stars I would.
If I could give zero stars I would.
How people can review this at more than a one star show beggars belief!
Felt so sorry for the poor staff who put in valiant efforts in this ridiculous debacle of an Elvis tribute.
I went to this show for my birthday and…
I went to this show for my birthday and absolutely loved it! I know a lot of people were expecting an Abba Voyage type show but I read the description of the show and I got exactly what I was expecting! I would definitely go again! The music was great, the scenery was good and the staff were so lovely! People were singing and dancing and it was a lovely atmosphere! I ate in the Diner beforehand, I had a Blue Hawaiian in the interval and then stayed for another drink at the afterparty!! The gift shop at the end was a little expensive but I bought a mug as a nice memory of the show! If you are expecting an Abba Voyage type show don't book as that's not what you are getting!!
Ignore all the other bad reviews
Ignore all the other reviews! This was a great show and the cast were great! Apparently they have changed the show once they got the bad reviews and since then everybody has enjoyed it! I loved all the singing and dancing and how much they know about Elvis.
Elvis ( more like Tony Angeleno from fools and horses)
What a complete rip off 3 rooms of carnage and a complete joke of an event from
Start to finish not a sign of Elvis the whole evening ( only random Videos on a screen ) and even that was out of focus
Anything shown you can watch free on you tube in terms of any so called actors if you imagine Tony Angeleno from only fool and horses he is leagues above this shower of crap , how can you call this an Elvis event with no sign of an Elvis impersonator or hologram of Elvis of any kind , right at the end in the last room on the stage when everyone looked like they lost the will to live when it’s all blacked out and loads of smoke a midget appears on stage for all of thirty seconds in all the black leathers from the comeback tour he don’t say a word turns around and walks off stage WTF , I’m guessing maybe that was meant to be Elvis as a child who knows but he was 4 foot 2 at best and said nothing !! So again WTF
if this event was free I would have felt robbed of 2 hours of our lives , how can you have the front to charge over £200 for 2 tickets !!! Will be demanding a refund , We drove an hour there amd an hour back home and felt robbed let alone the poor people that came from hull to watch a bunch of extras from phoenix nights , this event should be shut down and the public refunded there hard earned money !!!! AVOID THIS EVENT AT ALL COSTS PLEASE
ATROCIOUS!!!!!!
AWFUL, what a load of rubbish, embarassing to be honest and disrespectful to Elvis Rowdy compare, terrible band, if that is what you could call them. They should have not bothered to do it after the company that was going to do the holographics went bust. I actually walked out in the Blue Hawaii room, it was horrendous. Seriously, if you are a serious Elvis fan forget it. 😡😡😡
New, improved show worth seeing
I went to a preview of the original show and while I enjoyed it there were a few times when it seemed a bit slow. I had read the information sent to me so I was not expecting a hologram Elvis, I wonder if that is what upsets other visitors. I went again last week with some friends and we had a wonderful time. The live musicians were brilliant , interacting with the audience from the start. The whole thing was very entertaining and given the number of paid entertainers, worth every penny (I am used to paying more for theatre trips nowadays) This is a show about Elvis not a show starring Elvis. A fun outing, recommended
Not as originally advertised
Not as originally advertised. Diabolical show and a waste of money. Even purchasing the cheap ticket I feel over charged. Not a very good experience and alot of people walked out and alot of boo's. This company should be ashamed of itself.
