My daughter in Australia purchased a Mothers Day £100 gift card online for Pearson's of Enfield. When it was delivered it was an Ely's of Wimbledon Card only to be spent in their store. Twice I tried to spend it on line at Ely's but at check out the gift card number was entered but would not go through and kept asking for my bank details. I phoned Ely's twice and was put through to "someone that could help me" only to be told by an automated reply to leave my number and someone would get back to me. Nobody ever did. Thank goodness for Pearson's of Enfield that agreed to honour the gift card but had to get permission from management to do so. Thank you ladies.
This company is fantastic. Ordered a gift for my grandsons birthday and paid for next day delivery. Somthing went a little wrong with Parcelforce but I had the best customer service I have ever experienced. Will certainly buy from them again.
Elys Customer Service was fantastic- they made right the issues that one of the concession brands created with my purchase. Truly grateful for how lovely they were at Elys. I can’t say enough about their marvelous professionalism and patience. Highly impressed.
As others have said, they offer items for sale which they do not have in stock. They take your details, then issue a refund, but ignore requests to remove your personal data from their records.
I had a bra fitting at Ely’s and the customer service was exceptional (Maxine). Highly recommend this store.

Not wasting my time with this company again
I went into elys today with a few of my friends however as soon as we entered we were told to leave. This was because apparently people who wear school uniform can’t be trusted within a shop. I believe this was highly discriminative and disrespectful towards the younger community and ultimately a severe economic and social loss for elys that will impact their future as a company.
Ordered and paid online for a Jellycat bag for my Grandaughter and placed wrong pick up address. Called customer service and unfortunately did not ask her name! However she immediately said, no problem and has now re directed to be sent to my home address.
A truly helpful staff member & nothing was too much trouble.

I recently purchased a Herschel Supply Co. Supply Tech Daypack from ELYS Wimbledon, as it was displayed as available on their website. I paid for delivery and received an order confirmation. However, just 12 hours later, I received an email stating my order had been refunded with zero explanation. No reason was provided for the cancellation, and the email was brief, not even offering a simple thank you for the attempted purchase.
This lack of communication and transparency is disappointing, especially after I was able to proceed with payment for a product that was clearly not in stock. I found the website enticing, but this experience has left me frustrated and hesitant to shop with ELYS again. Be cautious when purchasing from their site, as it appears they may list items that aren’t actually available.
This is the second time this year I have bought furniture from Ely's. The first time there was a delay between the final payment being taken and the delivery being arranged. After some chasing up on my part, my delivery took place and the delivery personnel did indeed go the extra mile to get the furniture upstairs (it was a tight fit). There was some damage to the walls, (but some of that was understandable and Ely's have agreed to cover the cost), so I decided to place another order for bedroom furniture.
I was telephoned when my furniture arrived and asked for the balance of the payment. It seems that here their systems fall down as it relies on either the order being put in a basket for the delivery person to see when he comes up to the showroom or for them to take it down to the despatch department. Very often nothing happens for a couple of days. Then you have to wait ....So I again chased it up. Eventually the delivery person called me and arranged a delivery for a week later.
I had to make the room ready as Ely's were also taking away some old furniture. I cleared out chests, moved furniture to make it easier to get around, got up extra early to do the final preparations. Guess what, a phone call to say the delivery team were off sick and Ely's were unable to make the delivery. I was told I would get a call on Monday to advise me of another date.
For a large store like Ely's, surely alternative delivery arrangements should be able to be made, giving me a firm date, rather than just say I will be called on Monday, which I know from past experience will probably not happen.
I have spent a considerable amount of money with Ely's, not that it should matter how much I spend on furniture, the service I get should be professional. However, This is the second time I've had a less than perfect experience with furniture delivery, and I will not be buying furniture from Ely's again.
Decided to do a review and very surprised at the bad reviews. I wanted the SMEG Lavazza coffee machine so searched on Google and found elys. The website looked good with easy navigation, price was amazing less than half the price of well known high street electrical store and my first time shopping with elys i got an extra 10% off and free delivery. Placed my order and received Email confirmation. Received a missed call which i now know was elys and then received an Email informing me with an apology the free coffee pods that come with the machine were now out of date would i be happy to receive 10% off the price of the machine. Excellent customer service and another 10% off. Received 10% back on card same day.Very happy. Two days later received my SMEG coffee machine. Easy to use and excellent coffee. Thank you to Excellent customer service at elys. A very happy shopper and i will be using elys again
Had the pleasure of ordering a Reiss dress from the store & dealt with a lady called Ophelia who gave outstanding customer service & truly went above & beyond to find a dress for me,I cannot thank her enough for her help & feel she is a real asset to the store,just wish everyone was like her & that I lived nearer as wouldn’t hesitate to shop there.
Have shopped at Eley's a number of times in the last week. if i can find anything negative to say it is down to my own weak willed impulsive nature. i usually overspend and walk out with things i did not want or need before i went in to the store.
staff in any department have been helpful and the goods they sell are all higher end products of good quality.
I live locally and shop here regularly. I am surprised by the negative reviews. Most of the staff are lovely, the service is mostly great , a few glitches but usually lovely. They are not the cheapest place to shop so I know I might find a particular item cheaper elsewhere, but they have a great range and quality. To me they are almost an Oxford street or Sloan square level of range and quality. I shop here more now than ever and appreciate having it nearby.
I would stay away from this seller, I should have checked out their reviews before, probably a money laundering out fit taking orders cancelling because not in stock and hey presto, money cleaned and disappointed customer.
