Worst travel agency

Worst travel agency. I shouldve read the comments here even before booking my flights. Very inconsiderate despite the pandemic, they would charged me £75 for changing/ cancelling my flights. Id rather have it cancel led than deal with all the headaches. Yet, 18 weeks now I am still waiting for my refund.

Rubbish Company Avoid At All Costs

I had booked 2 flights from UK to Brisbane Australia. Because of the pandemic they were cancelled August last year. After several (usually ignored) emails, telephone calls, all the excuses under the sun, false promises and SIX months I got my refund less the rediculous £150 admin fee. I did ask them to waive the fee due to the extremely long wait. But they took it anyway.
A good tip is to get your money back via your credit card company like my son did for 3 tickets. He got all his money and no deduction for admin fee.

Emailflights refusing to give a full refund

Our return flights to Thailand have been cancelled due to Coronavirus. Emailflights have refused to give us a full refund for this and are charging us a £150 'admin fee' for returning the refund from the airline, which is unacceptable. They have refused our requests to waive this fee and took over 9 months to agree a refund with the airline. We will never use this company again and I would strongly advise all others reading this to avoid them at all costs too.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE - Waited 8 months to get a refund back from our holiday which was cancelled by our flight company, Communication between us and the company was shocking which then resulted in us getting the money back through our credit card company as they wanted to charge us at £75 admin fee each! Wouldn't touch this company again!

Disgraceful customer service - DO NOT USE

Disgraceful service. Like many others I have been charged a £75 admin fee and £75 processing fee per person (not clear how these two services differ).

In total, EmailFlights took £300 in fees in order to process my refund, this was approx. 35% of the cost of the flights.

DO NOT USE. I struggle to believe the positive reviews submitted on this page

Worst company of 2020

It should be no stars at all it the worst travel company you can ever come across they wanted yo charge me £75 per person for admin fee to refund my money after arguing for some time i agreed even though i know they just robing people for a something that people have no control over it it took them 21 weeks to refund my money after numerous emails and calls. I had to stay on the phone for 5 hours at one occasion with no answer this company made me loose my sleeps i just cannot express myself enough how much angry i am with this stupid company please avoid even if they are offering free travel i will even pay more to avoid these people worst company of the year 2020.

Excellent service from Pia !

Our flights were cancelled and when I called EmailFlights to re- book our flights, I was blessed to get Pia who went the extra mile, was very helpful, down to earth and damn good at her job. She was amazing with everything and made sure to check everything for me with so much patience. She is an asset to the company.

USE THIS SITE AT YOUR PERIL

If we could leave a ZERO star review we would..long, long, long story curtailed....bought 4 tickets total cost £2700 to Cuba via Madrid February 2020, 3 weeks later first lockdown. Contacted the company in August 2020 to be told everything was still going ahead. In October we were notified by Spanish airline Iberia flight was being cancelled and we would be able to claim refund via our agent... then “fun” began. After sending all relevant documentation to their accounts to process the expected refund less their £300 so called “admin charge” we waited patiently for the statutory 12-14 weeks.....by week 19 we still had received NOTHING after various emails and phone calls where it was obvious they had no idea of the process and would insult our intelligence with feeble emails and excuses. We had no alternative but with the help from our NatWest bank we retrieved the full amount from our Credit Card claim. WILL NEVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN - AVOID THESE AT ALL COST

Unreliable Company

I am on the same boat as everyone else.... after waiting 12 to 14 weeks for my refund, and the refund team confirming that they are arranging a refund transfer, I am still waiting. No answer on the customer service number and no reply to my email. They also charged us £75pp admin/cancellation fee. I’d say avoid this company.

Flights to India …

My flight and wife's flights were changed and new timings did not suit. We were charged £75 admin fee each even though we explained we had a wedding to attend and the alternatives provided were no good. It was agreed on 26/10/20 to refund and our airline told us both tickets were refunded to agent by end of October 20. I have been chasing agent and to no avail. Eventually we said we was going to the regulator and miraculously the money appeared in the bank accounts over 3.5 months later. It is disgusting the way this company is treating it's customers and we will never use it again

Waiting 16 weeks for a refund after…

Waiting 16 weeks for a refund after being told it would be 12 - 14 weeks. Still no sign of the refund. They continue to feed me contradictory information via email. The £150 refund for me and my partner is the iceing on the cake of cookednes. Shambles

This company is shocking!!! It has taken over 25 weeks to get a refund to which they have the audacity to still change £75 P/P admin fee!! For what? They have no customer service skills honestly stay clear. No communication or updates and do not respond to emails!!

Avoid, dishonest practice

I travel alot and with a range of different booking agents/airlines, I purchased flights early 2020 to Turkey as these guys were the cheapest. We then couldn't get over due to pandemic, at this stage flights weren't cancelled but I was told I could get a refund (minus a disgusting £75pp admin fee!). So I filled in the form and sent it back...then nothing. Chased again only to be told 'they aren't offering refunds anymore', well sorry you've already accepted the refund! Did a chargeback on my credit card with document for proof. Never would book through a dodgy place like this again

After 16 weeks i phoned to check on the status of my refund (i was originally given 12-14 weeks lead time but had no contact from them). By absolute coincidence they had received the money from the airline and would be able to refund my money. They asked for bank details as refunding my credit card would take too long. I was given a timeframe of 15-17 working days. Ive called today (15 working days) to check the status and have now been told they dont know when i will be refunded.

Bought two return flights to Australia…

Bought two return flights to Australia in Jan, cancelled in Feb due to COVID. On 30th Jan as I write this I still have not received my refund. I write at the end of every month, and they tell me its delayed every single time. The 14 weeks they told me I would need to wait is long past, and of course no response or refund. I will be speaking with the ombudsman early next week.

It has now been 10 months since I first requested my refund (which they illegally refused to send), and I had to fight until OCTOBER for them to even agree to refund at all.

Oh, and I have spent perhaps 4 hours on hold trying to get through on the phone, no one ever answers, I doubt they actually have a customer service department at all.

This company is so dodgy

This company is so dodgy. Flights in March cancelled due to Covid. The airline refunded emailflights.com in June 2020 and still (Jan 2021) have not refunded me over £2K of my money that they have in their bank. I have proof of all of this but they don't care. They also tried to add airline fees (which the airline informed me did not exist) of £29pp in addition to their admin fee of £75 pp. Avoid at all costs and book directly with the airline. I have never before written a negative review but I really don't want anyone else to have this experience.

Unbelievable and not in a good way

Unbelievable, and not in a good way.
Booked two returns to Australia 10 months in advance and paid in full. Obviously the flights got cancelled by Cathay and I waited to be informed by email flights. After 2 months I contacted them to inform the flights had been cancelled as they were incredibly unaware. They then tried to charge an admin fee of £150 even though it is illegal according to trading standards. I then went to the airline for a refund only to be told that they had never booked or paid for the flights they had just reserved them meaning all this time they had had our money in their bank. Eventually I went to the credit card company for a chargeback and they were brilliant and got me my money back however today they have appealed saying the full fare is a valid charge despite the flights should have gone last week. This is incredibly short sighted as we travel to Oz once a year and usually through them, never again though so who’s the winner here. Lesson do NOT use these as they haven’t anything in the bank and will more than likely go bust, it’s just not worth the chance
