Great subscription. Would have given a 5 star but the website is a little clumsy - you have to start every search over again if you don't find what your looking for - such as searching on page/tab 10... See more

This emanualS.com is absolutely terrible for the homeowner who only needs a single service manual because this website requires a automatic renewal subscription. When they can't find a particular manual the reply is "I'm sorry our publishers don't have this available. It's very rare that our suppliers or we can't source, so we feel a little awkward." and no refund possible. A better website may be the one called emanual.com (no s) at the end) as it will sell a manual for $32.99

This company is a fraudulent scam. I signed for a three day trial and canceled within the time frame they still charged me three months worth of subscription fees. No receipt. Deceptive marketing and unauthorized charges!! If my bank hadn’t sent me a suspicious activity alert I would’ve never known.
Contacted them and said that in their fine prints hidden somewhere on Mars they don’t do refunds. Kick rocks is what they’re basically saying. Should put it in bold on their website “If you don’t know we don’t care, figure it out yourself”.

This company doesn't put energy and resource to collect manuals, they lead their resource and energy to scam users' money.
Before 3-day free trail, I googled the manuals I'm looking for and it showed up in their website. I then start my free-trail and found out most of the manuals I'm looking for actually don't accessible(you can't even find them). I finally decide to subscribed one-month service, their website says you can download 25 manuals, but I searched for 4-5 manuals, only found 1 available, and the picture quality not in a good printing quality. I decide it's not worth it and I cancelled my subscription, they immediately stop my ability to access my member service, that means I can't keep using my 24 left unused chance to download manuals that I already paid for!!! Usually you cancel a subscription, it means you don't renew the membership, doesn't mean you give up the right to access the left over period of service. Not only they terminate your ability to access the service you already paid for, they refuse to refund!
This company probably collect more unhappy customers than the manuals. Be aware.

I’ve been using Emanuel’s for 2yrs now and while they have been great and the the manuals are of reasonable quality easy enough to find with the search bar
Not all manuals have been found though.
I was surprised that I couldn’t find any manuals for Caterpillar D6B series
There was also a Hino model which I can’t recall now.
Over all from motor bikes to dozers most are available

I have been an eManuals Annual subscriber for two years and have used their service for several years. I get wonderful customer service and the selection of manuals is huge. I have saved a lot of money and have the manuals in pdf format, I can simply find the section or pages I need and print them off and get to work. They have manuals on many, many items other than automotive repair manuals. I highly recommend eManuals and their staff for your manual needs.

SCAM SCAM SCAM - As others have found, this site is a scam - you don't get 3 free days - but you won't find out until you hit the paywall - there doesn't seem to be any way of previewing or using this "free trial" without hitting a credit card option - tellingly there's no paypal or intermediary option, and immediately I did try using it, the payment was blocked by my bank - so these guys are obviously on the watch list. The "account" option is also frontloaded - your "password" arrives via an email !?. On backing out of the whole thing - the "apology" page is headed "ITVibe Inc." which looks to be another of those marketing scam helper websites.. As for that reviews.io page - thats also suspicious.. emanuals.com - if you are a genuine outfit, your standard bot excuses as seen in replies here only make your situation worse..

Avoid this company like the plague. Tried to use the 3 day trial but couldnt open the file i was interested in. I canceled by subscription but they charged me anyway. I am disputing the charge. If denied I will cancel my credit card. Very dishonest business practice. unfortunate

Emanuel support is nonexistent, only get an email saying you did something wrong or you had opened the file 3x which never happened. Plus you will never see a refund. Stay away from this group. My terrible service started on November 4 2025 and I still have not received my refund or any useful support from a live person. In short avoid at all cost.

Garbage. Completely untrustworthy site that does not honor customer satisfaction. They claim they provide a free trial but you get sucked into downloading content which then nullifies your free trial. I cancelled right away when I saw I was unsatisfied with their content, they still refused to refund the money. I communicated with them over several days and reinstated my account. They refused to retroactively give me access from those lost days when communicating with them. Their justification, other subscription-based sites operate this way. Crap. They will never survive with this mindset, and I also question if they actually have permission to sell their manuals/allow others to access them because they use already available content on the net. Very very unhappy.
Update: After this initial review, less than 24 hours later my account access was "blocked". I of course emailed the company and explained that I had access as they had informed me until Jan. 7th. They then emailed me and informed me that the account was terminated and my money was refunded. This triggered a fraud alert from my bank. So several issues here.
-Firstly blocking my access to my account without informing me.
-terminating my account after I emailed about being blocked.
-refunding my money without informing me, this triggered several fraud alerts from my bank.
-not allowing me access to my downloads due to my account termination/being blocked
-terminating my account without my knowledge due my review of the company and their practices.
It's pretty obvious to me that this is something that is dealt with often for this company, many of the responses I got were very scripted and long, detailed and almost AI generated. Why not just change your practices to provide honest and clear services. A free trial is a free trial, no stipulations, "gotcha's", conditions or deceptions. Allow the free trial to only view online docs with no ability to download. But that would be too simple and not capitalize on people's refusal to read the convoluted terms and conditions. I probably would not have left my initial review had I been granted a full month's access as I had asked, but because I was screwed once again by "the man" I left this review. In their defense and I know I am rambling, they do provide full manuals of pretty much every machine I could think of. I did find a page on the PDFs that were smudged/blemished somehow but I couldn't tell you which one because ya know "blocked", which seems quite odd to me.

I signed up for the trial because I needed one manual. Somehow the company assigned me as a regular customer. I have been getting charged $33 a month for nothing. I have corresponded with them on several occasions and they keep telling me to cancel the account. I have cancelled it twice and I was still getting charged. They run in circles when you ask a question and they do not provide a reasonable response. Great manuals for DIY, but I am not going to pay for something I don't use on a regular basis.

After reading many of the bad reviews here I was hesitant to sign up, however I took the risk and signed up for a trial.
Unfortunately after previewing a few manuals, as my needs are quite specific they didn't have exactly what I need for my workshop, so I did cancel. However their coverage seems quite vast and the manuals are covered in great details. Perfect for many smaller garages or DIY mechanics at a fraction of the cost of alternative products out there.
I wasn't charged, it's quite straight forward on the website, people who've complained below clearly didn't read what they were doing. It's not difficult to understand so I feel their reviews are unfair and unjustified. I'd imagine the majority of people using the service are very happy with it and just haven't thought to leave a review.
Sign up for the trial, pay attention to what your clicking on and follow their directions and you won't have a problem.

UPDATE TO RESPOND TO THEIR HILARIOUS RESPONSE:
'Did not use the free trial as intended'. No, the pop up asking how I wanted to be billed came up immediately after signing up for the free trial, so I had no option to use the free trial, I was charged immediately.
'TEN FERRARI MANUALS.' (Repeated for frankly, laughable, emphasis). At no point did I deny attempting to download multiple manuals? As I said in my original review, there was no option to view the manuals online, whether that's due to a glitch in their system or they simply don't have that functionality, I don't know. Further to this, only one download was even successful, so maybe they should revisit the greatly inflated commercial value stated. Or maybe they should revisit the functionality of their site to allow people to view things online, but then that would stop people being able to request a refund after being scammed out of money.
'The text size is determined by the device's settings'. Partially true - probably the most true thing they've ever managed to type up, however the text size declaring the payment is far smaller than the other text surrounding it. I can only imagine why that might be, maybe my device's settings? Or maybe an intentionally misleading pop up with extremely small text, set to be that size by themselves rather than my device's settings. If it was the device settings, why would all of the text on that pop up not appear the same size?
'You actively downloaded high value digital products'
If only they were as good at reading as they are at scamming! Only one download was successful, and they were downloaded because of the lack of functionality on their site for online viewing.
'We can offer to reinstate your membership allowing you to continue using the service for the remainder of the billing period you have already paid for'. Thanks ever so much for your very generous offer, but I think I'll pass on that one. I'll just take a refund instead please, especially if my access has been blocked immediately after cancelling, thanks!
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
After looking online for a particular manual, emanuals supposedly had it.
I started a free trial, at the end of the 'free trial' sign up page, they asked how I wanted to be billed. As I only wanted the one manual, I selected monthly. The fine print text at the bottom of this pop up says that you will be billed immediately for this, since I was on a phone and the text was so small, I wasn't able to see it but they took payment immediately. I tried to reach out immediately to request a refund considering I only wanted to view the one manual which should've been available in this free trial and while I was awaiting a response, tried to look at the manual needed.
They didn't have an option to view this manual online, so I had to download it just to be able to view it, so I decided to download all of the manuals that they had for this particular car as it was a difficult manual to find and I didn't have much hope that I'd be able to get exactly what I needed.
The downloads failed on all but one manuals, surprisingly enough, the manual the download worked on didn't have what I needed.
Emanuals then took me downloading the manuals as me using the service and refused a refund, they had instant answers and concerningly snarky responses back, showing that this is their entire business model and have it all copied, pasted and ready to go.
An absolute fraud of a site, not even worth the click off of Google that they get as they misrepresent the names of the manuals just to get you to fall for their little scam they have running, let alone the $30 I'm out of pocket.
That's not even mentioning the customer data that they freely post in response to negative reviews, again, what a trustworthy, reputable company to have your data.

I purchased the membership and within 1 day, that credit card was compromised and used several times fraudulently. It was a new card that had never been used before. This is how I know this site compromised my card.

Scam.
You con only see the TITLE of the PDF in the trial mode, nothing else.
Just a scam.

I was charged $33 for a subscription that I never signed up for. I filled out the info but never submitted it. There is no way to cancel it because I never created an account. The phone number doesn't work. What a shit company.
Update to emanuals response:
Please send and post a copy of these supposed emails. The only emails I have are from 10/17/25 when I had to contact you via WhatsApp to cancel.

Wow! I wish I had checked Trustpilot before falling for the three-day trial scam like many others. When I inquired and said the site was misleading, Kayden informed me it was not. I never could get the manuals to download.

Reply from emanuals
An absolute scam. When you subscribe for the 3 day free trial, it's impossible to cancel your "subscription" before the trial ends. I couldn't find anywhere on their website and trying to get a response from them is a joke.
I just stopped the cc.

This website is a SCAM. I signed up for a 3-day free trial, but they took money from my bank account without warning. I wasn't expecting that—I just wanted to try it out and explore a bit. But they charged me right away! Scam! Scam!
I spoke with Gerry on Live Chat, but he couldn't help me—just repeated their policy. Honestly, it's nonsense. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. IT'S A SCAM!
I've reported it to my bank and hope they can get my money back.
LISTEN, PEOPLE: DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. IT'S A SCAM!
