Customer service is a joke. 48hrs to respond to any inquiries!!! Performance of the investment is beyond poor especially in a time where the market was strong and returns were high. They make it as difficult as legally possible to withdraw money. Do not use Embark! You will thank me later.

The waiting time to talk to someone was extremely long

I don’t typically call, but Jenina was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, patient, and truly listened to everything I had to say. She addressed each of my requests one by one and ensured they were fully resolved.
She went above and beyond; especially after I had been waiting for such a long period of time. Her level of care and professionalism made a real difference. I would gladly call back again knowing she would be the one assisting me.

They won't give you any bonus they claim to sign up, they won't return emails, phone back, and won't allow a return of contributions, stay far away from this company!
Their reply under this is a flat out lie. They made no attempt to contact until I made this post they did send me a form now to get contributions back, if it's successful I'll change review from maybe a scam to just a really terrible company also it wasn't a refer a friend bonus it's a sign up bonus. Don't use this company!

I received a notice to "Claim your RESP funds today!" I received it in December. The company claims they sent it in July of the previous year. There was no date on the notice nor was there a post mark indicating the date of mailing. The company denied my claim stating it had been over 90 days from when the notice was sent when in fact I received it in December, less than 30 days ago.
I feel ripped off, therefore; I declare Embark a scam, taking parent's money and keeping it.
I will widely report this.

I'm writing to warn others about the nightmare I've experienced with Embark. I opened an RESP for my autistic son when he was 3 months old (2018), but when I realized it wasn't suitable for his needs. I requested a transfer to an RDSP account, but Embarks lack of RDSP privileges wasn't disclosed. I've been trying to transfer the funds to Scotia Bank's RDSP for 6-8 months, with ZERO progress. Despite multiple follow-ups, they've ignored my requests and failed to transfer the funds.
Embark's customer service is abysmal, and their inaction is putting my child's future at risk. If you value your child's financial security, STAY AWAY FROM EMBARK.
1/5 stars - I would not recommended to anyone ever.

Your website is terrible, and your login is never possible.
For more than a month trying to login into my account.
Everything about Embark is terrible.
I will transfer my account to another service provider

Worst company ever. Took over for another company and now I can’t access absolutely anything despite NUMEROUS attempts and they continue to take money out of my account.

I rest assured that my investment in my child's future is taken care of by this great service.
