I got myself a hawkeye leather jacket and it has been good overall. The one annoying issue I see so far is the sewing thread fraying all over in the seems and joints. I mitigate it by burning it in... See more

Great product
Easily most stylish jackets I've bought. 2 light summer jackets, well made, good fit and I had good customer service and delivery. Def recommended
I STILL haven't recurved the jacket I…
I STILL haven't recurved the jacket I ordered. What I did recieved was a drawstring bag so thank you enginehawk for sending me a 400 dollar drawstring bag. I emailed customer support 5 days ago and hear NOTHING. I still haven't even gotten any message from anyone there. The customer support at enginehawk and ruroc is atrocious and I will never be buying from them again
What a complete waste of time this…

Poor sales
Bought a jacket on sale only to find out that about a week later the jacket went on and even bigger sale. I live in Canada so you pay duty on the items that come from ruroc and enginehawk, so it's an extra $100+. So it's nice to try and pay the least you can because it's that much more expensive to get items from London. Talked to customer service and they said there's nothing they can do "it's company policy." Sure it is, they just didn't care, felt like I got scammed.
I purchased a jacket for my son and…
I purchased a jacket for my son and soon realized that it would be too large and no alternate was available, so regrettably I had to return the jacket, prior to returning it I checked the jacket out and I was a very very impressive, clearly a high quality item, far better than could have been reasonably expected . I contacted the company to arrange return and refund and this process went very smoothly. Sometimes people who read reviews just want to know that they wont be abandoned should they need assistance, so I can say with confidence that my experience could only be rated as 10/10 and though the jacket had to be returned the product would also gain 10/10 from me.
The companies representative Nadine was so very helpful also.
Awful experience, terrible customer service
The quality of the gear is very good and comparable to the best brands, but they have issues with customer service, logistics and general passing the buck tactics. Item shows in stock on website. But took 7 weeks for item to arrive. Item was returned, three weeks ago and unfortunately still waiting for a refund. Three weeks after they received my return. Will likely have to complete a chargeback through my credit card at this rate. Customer service is very slow to reply to emails, with generic responses, and no dedicated phone number to call. Not even sure if I will end up with my refund. Highly disappointed tbh, promise so much and yet deliver so little.
Missing Refund/s
Ordered a jacket that was too big, so as per their returns policy, I packed and returned the jacket.
Their “Customer Service” team confirmed receipt of the returned jacket and promised a refund within 14 working days.
This passed and I contacted them again. Eventually got a reply to say they had a problem on their system and would process the refund (another 2-5 days).
This too has come and gone and they’re now ignoring my messages from the last 3 days.
Considering I’m owed a refund of £400 it’s a fairly significant amount of money to be waiting for.
Great jackets, but god-awful customer service!
Edit:
After escalating the matter to Management, my refund was promptly issued and an apology received. EngineHawk also sent out a free Level 2 armour for my jacket by way of compensation, which I actually appreciated.
The business seem to have become bigger than they’ve been able to cope with and better back office processes are needed, which they’ve identified.
Appalling customer service, good product.
If you don't have a particular time scale and have someone at home permanently to receive your delivery then its not a problem but if like myself you are often busy with work and family commitments then you might as well play the lottery. Their PR machine is excellent though, I'm sure you will see a reply from the company trying to change the facts or discredit my honest experience, they have a habit of doing that i'm told!
Before placing my order I read all the reviews some were great, a few good and then some that were pretty dismal. However, they had a couple of jackets that I felt were a little different to the norm and decided to purchase based on factors like my size being available, a specific delivery date which was advertised as delivered BY the 6th day after placing my order, as jacket was needed by 9 days as I was going away and I left a little room for error. Finally, they had a sale with a 30% discount so I took the plunge.
I emailed the day before due delivery as I was away that weekend and if they couldn't supply the item I was going to go and purchase one from a retail outlet and cancel my order. I didn't receive a reply for over 48 hours and when I did they had sent it out to arrive a day or two later than specified! The jacket was delivered to the wrong address (not their fault) and I was asked to check with neighbours of which all were at work, then told they would get back to me next week with an idea of what had happened, no good to me at all as I was going away. Luckily, the lady who received my jacket was only 10 minutes away and bought it to me later that evening, there are some good people in the world still. I don't believe that they would have sent the jacket to me if I had not asked to cancel it.
The jacket is nice and distinctive and the quality and fit are ok. I'm glad I bought it at a 30% discount as I feel this was all its money at that price, but i'm happy enough with the product but not elated.
I emailed Enginehawk to explain I had my Jacket and through sheer relief I asked that if I placed an order for a Thermal Bomber liner whether they could deliver by the date specified this time, as the following week my wife and I are away at different times and there would be no one to receive my package. This is a week after the maximum delivery date offered on the website so you would think that even a day or two late would mean that I would get the liner in time. Not a chance! After an email on the due delivery date I was informed that I wouldn't be getting it that week but that they would "try" and get it sent to me the following week, again, I am away and unable to be there and have neighbours who are not home until the evening.
I felt I had no option but to cancel my order which was very frustrating as it is the perfect fit for my jacket and currently in a sale. I am told they are very busy yet the two orders that were 10 days apart had only a difference of 40 or so order numbers between them, hardly overworked! They should not advertise a delivery date if it cannot be fulfilled. They do not keep you informed and you cannot contact them easily to see what is happening. You don't know this until you have parted with your money.
To rub salt into the wound, my order was cancelled with a note saying customer changed mind. Not, "we could not fulfil our delivery promise" or "poor customer has been let down several times in two orders and has run out of time for the order to be processed". I genuinely wanted to give Ruroc/Enginehawk a chance and felt I gave them a lot of opportunity to make things right, but they really aren't that bothered once they have your money i'm sorry to say.
One big red flag apart from the terrible reviews was that they don't have a contact telephone number and when they did previously they changed it on a regular basis. Making contacting them really difficult and slow. I should have followed my instinct and spent my money elsewhere as I've advised all my fellow biker colleagues and friends to do.
This is only my account and there are plenty of positive ones out there too but before you part with your hard earned cash (especially these days), have a good think before you pull the trigger.
Excellent brand and excellent quality
Excellent brand and excellent quality!
I have one of their leather jackets (916) and as soon as you get it out the box you can feel the quality. All over the jacket you can tell they care about the products they put out from the little details they make sure are spot on.
I have the level two armour and even with that in I would still be perfectly comfortable wearing the jacket off the bike as well as on. The side panels allow for unrestricted movement, the two way zips, the belt loops and thumb loops to stop separation all make sitting on the bike as comfortable as possible.
I can’t rate this jacket highly enough. Now I’m just waiting for them to release more light weight summer jackets and a fully waterproof jacket.
Phenomenal quality - will
I got the cookies n cream Black uv.
I generally wear xl clothing but most of my bike gear has been odd sizing and Iv never been able to get things to fit just right baring a cheap textile jacket that I’ll confidently say offered little protection!
The Enginehawk jacket arrived and fit perfect on par with my normal clothing, the jacket was soft out the box so needed almost no “wearing in” as such.
The quality of the stitching and lining is brilliant and far better than some more expensive premium brands out there.
The upgraded armour was worth it too, it’s extremely flexible and when wearing the jacket it’s so non intrusive you will often question if it’s in there.
I ordered a bomber to go under it to give the jacket more versatility.
Hands down the best lining system I’ve seen on motorcycle gear to date, it fits perfect clips in on the sleeves and zips to the edges of the front zipper, it covers the full length and feels like it is part of the jacket rather than a removable extra.
The jacket does a great job of keeping all the wind out, and in very cold days you feel warm with it on.
The jacket features 2 elasticated belt loops to tuck under and round your belt at the back and clips to the jacket, a much easier system than some jackets, it’s not going to replace the feel of zip together 2 piece but it helps to negate wind etc from the rear.
I was weary of purchasing off a brand I don’t know, but the styles on offer swayed me as they’re different to most jackets out there.
A good thing is that when off the bike and walking around it’s a comfy and good looking jacket too.
I’ll be purchasing more from them in future I’m sure. I had a few queries pre delivery and the team answered my concerns immediately.
Take a chance on this brand, they have accomplished so much more than other companies with larger teams, budgets, followed etc.
Absolutely quality stuff
Absolutely quality stuff. Now own several jackets from EH and wouldn't go back to the main brands for my everyday riding gear. Great customer service too.
Casual or protective it's got you!
Ordered a raptor and I love it, it's not to heavy and the armour is hardly noticeable. You can wear this jacket on and off the bike and still look fresh! Nice zips in the armpit area for them hot days (not that I use them in England haha). Plenty of pockets all with a nice amount of space. The material cuts through the wind with the need for not many base layers and kept me dry when I got caught in a storm! Will be ordering another jacket when the new selection drops!
Enginehawk, quality all the way.
I've bought 2 enginehawk jackets and here are my reviews.
Knucklehead first ride review.
Jacket arrived yesterday, didn't want to go back out into the rain on the bike so waited until this morning.
Sizing, I'm normally wearing a 2XL Roland Sands Carson leather jacket, it gives me some room for extra layers and is one of the best leather jackets l I've ever bought (when funds allow I'll test against an Enginehawk leather).
There's a few extra lockdown inches on the belly, 6"2, 240lb the XL Knucklehead is snug but I think the snug fit is planned to keep the pads in place and for styling.
My standard liner jacket is a Filson ultralight primaloft, turns out it fits underneath and doesn't make me look like a massive fatty.
First time I put the jacket on I had to check that the elbow and shoulder pads were in as they're so thin and light and putting the back armour in was simple and also barely noticed when worn.
On the bike, nothing rides up and there's none of the chafing and unwanted tightness when in the saddle stretched out holding the grips.
Out for a ride on a mildly chilly morning just shy of 150 miles wearing my liner no problems, had a brew on the seafront until the sun appeared. I took the liner off to ride home to get ready for work, riding back without the liner the jacket came into its element, it let through enough breeze to keep me cool, I am confident that a long summer ride with just a T-shirt won't leave me a sweaty mess, and after the questions from the lucky people living in constantly hot countries I personally believe that this is the jacket for you. 300+ mile round trip for the first ride the jacket was fantastic (or is the term BADASS).
At first I felt quite exposed in the jacket as it feels so thin and lightweight, trust in the brand and the fact that my AAA resurgence jeans felt the same the first time I wore them let me relax.
Off the bike on route to work, after a short ride to the train station where I normally have to strip off all my layers and pack them up I just locked the bike up, locked the lid to the bike and walked off looking nothing like a motorcyclist, the jacket looks and feels great and I've had a few admiring looks (it's definitely the jacket not me).
Several work colleagues want to try it on based on what I've told them, hopefully I'll be able to convert them to the brand.
This will now be my go to jacket for the non winter months, styling, fit and comfort are all there.
My second jacket is the Mother Trucker and this was my review for a winter jacket.
Well I've given the Mother Trucker a few good long runs, several hundred miles a day in all weather, heavy rain, cold mornings and a short spell of mild sun.
I don't want to upset everyone but I'm afraid I have to say it. Keep your fancy predator and 50.cal, the jewel in the crown of the Enginehawk brand is this jacket.
Holds up really well in heavy rain, so warm and comfortable. The stitching and material is fantastic.
The only issue I have, and its a minor one is the furry collar, when it gets damp it spreads down your neck, if it was removable it would be great, if it were I'd probably forget to take it off though.
For sizing I'm wearing a XXXL, 6"2 and18 stone in heels, there's room to layer up when needed.
Plus I've had loads of interest from fellow bikers about the jacket and brand whenever I've stopped for a brew.
Fantastic customer services all of my queries were sorted promptly.
Great products but...
Great products, however they lack in logistics. I ordered my jacket and it took over 4 weeks to be delivered, everytime I brought this up the customer service team didn't seem that bothered and just said "oh we've been really busy".....and is it just me or when you buy clothing do you expect it to have a next day delivery option? No such thing here, you'll be waiting a long time! but the products are great, I feel they'll fall soon if they don't get this back-end sorted out.
Absolute shocking service from this…
Absolute shocking service from this company I've been given every excuse under the sun placed an order on January 17th we're now on the 13th of march no sign of it still waiting. I'm fed the same lies every week it will be shipped the start of next week, it's on back order, the shipping has been paused for a stock take, the items are not in stock even though it says they are in stock but we'll get it sent direct to you. You can receive a part refund and we'll send the other items, you've been given false information we don't do part refunds your order would need to be cancelled and placed again. It just keeps dragging on happy to take your money though.
Ordered predator smokescreen jacket on…
Ordered predator smokescreen jacket on the Friday... jacket arrived on the Monday! Really pleased with that jacket , great quality although still feel there products are a little overpriced
Absolutely shocking experience.
Absolutely shocking experience.
Waited over 5 weeks for my order, that was shown as in stock on their website when placed, and still as I am writing this.
Several emails of promises that "it will be dispatched the end of this week" over and over, even trying on social media - always the same reply, always "still processing".
Absolutely terribly organised company, probably spent all their resources on paying infuencers to advertise their products - which you will never receive, seemingly.
100% avoid unless you're happy waiting in an indefinite loop.
So it’s been about 3 weeks since I…
So it’s been about 3 weeks since I placed my order (January 29th) and my order is still “processing”. Emailing enginehawk every week bc there website claims available ready for dispatch but who knows how long that actually takes. My payment has been deducted on 29/01/2022 and im seriously considering canceling at this point. Misleading dispatch dates and customer service is all copy and paste reply’s. 5 emails said i could expect it to dispatch within 5-10 working days. That didn’t happen and the latest email was a real reply I think stating that they would tell them to “prioritize” my order. Overall not happy with the experience will continue to update IF and WHEN I actually get my order.
Misleading and slow.
So it’s been about 2 1/2 almost 3 weeks since I placed my order (January 30th) and my order is still “processing”. Emailing enginehawk every week bc there website claims available ready for dispatch but who knows how long that actually takes. Then 2 weeks after I realize on there website the same predator smokescreen jacket I ordered now says available will arrive before Feb. 23rd. When I use Klarna I’m expecting to start payments when I place my order yet They cannot set payment dates until EngineHawk actually processes my order so that really f*cos with my money not knowing when I’ll actually be charged for the dang thing. Only plus is that if I do want to cancel it I haven’t been charged a dime and im seriously considering canceling at this point. Misleading dispatch dates and customer service is all copy and paste reply’s. 3 emails said i could expect it to dispatch within 5-10 working days. That didn’t happen and the latest email was a real reply I think stating that they would tell them to “prioritize” my order. Overall not happy with the experience will continue to update IF and WHEN I actually get my order.
Great quality jacket, need to work on logistics
I bought the .50 cal jacket and zip up hoodie and I don’t think I’ve ever been so pleased with an item of clothing. Great fit and functionality - looks awesome too. Got it in the sale too so even sweeter.
Enginehawk do need to work on their dispatch timings and stick to what is advertised (2 day dispatch). It took 9 days for them to dispatch, but when I chased they put it on an overnight delivery so cannot really complain. Hence 4 stars not 5.
