I really trust the guys at EngineWorld…

I really trust the guys at EngineWorld and believe that their employers possess a good sense of integrity. When the engine that I ordered was delivered to the the first mechanic that I hired to do the job he said something that was questionable. The guys at EgineWorld called me immediately. They could tell that I didnt have a clue who to hire as an alternative and referred me to someone else that turned out to be excellent. My engine works just fine and it'll be a year in November. I have put nearly 20k miles on my car since then.

Horrible Experience

First of all the manager that I spoke to on many occasions was very rude and disrespectful. The issue with my purchase was the engine solenoid on the engine that I received was broken. Therefore I called engine world to see if they would replace the part. The first person I spoke to said that they would replace it and they did. When I received the solenoid it was the wrong solenoid. Therefore I asked to speak to the manager. The manager informed me that he would not replace the part and I need to purchase one. I continued to make calls to Engine World speaking to the same manager and other employees but he (the manager) refused to purchase the solenoid. Therefore I was forced to purchase a new solenoid (if I wanted my car to work) that cost me $300. I just paid $1500 + shipping for a used Honda engine, which means I shouldn't have to buy a solenoid for it.

How is that right?

I will say that the Engine worked great after putting the new solenoid on. Which is the only reason they got 2 starts.

I bought a 3.0 liter V6 for my Toyota…

I bought a 3.0 liter V6 for my Toyota pick up. The buying went smoothly, the delivery and core return were easy.
When we went to reassemble the accessories, we discovered the timing belt tensioner was a different set up on the new engine. We sent a number of pics of the problem to your tech support team and shop manager. Instead of sending the passenger side head ( where tensioner mounts ) we got a box 3 days later with a bunch of random pieces that looked like they had been pulled from multiple engines. No instructions, diagrams or advice—-just a box of parts. My mechanic made it all work, but only after tapping out a mounting bracket hole.
Really disappointed in your follow up and tech support. I would not buy from you again.
We’ see if this gets posted

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. I would never do business again with a internet company that doesn't take PayPal. If you chose to patronage these folks I eish you better luck than I.
I received sludge up engine. When I asked for exchange was told: anything we send you will be that bad, they don't take care of their engines because they know they have to pull them a 50k. Send it back in original condition on the original palate and we might do something.
Well the palate was long gone. The pan and valve cover were off and it was impossible to send back in original packaging and they knew it.
They said to keep going with the install and if there was an issue they would honor the warrantee. Burned over 1guart per tank (250 miles) of gas. They refused to honor the warranty.
Short and sad end to story it blew up in about 500 miles.
My advise would be. Turn around dont walk away, but run fast as you can. But that's just my advice and experience. In sure they have some happy customers as well.

Don't recommend buying from this company

The initial process of ordering, obtaining the new engine, and sending the old engine back was pretty easy. The problems started once the engine was installed. My mechanic tried starting and test driving my truck after installation and found it to have knocking noises coming from the engine. After several attempts at determining what exactly was the problem, my mechanic suggested returning the engine due to a bent rod.
I started the process by calling customer service. At first they were very helpful and friendly and gave us more suggestions on how we could try to remedy the issue without returning the engine, which we tried. None of those worked, and I again to ask for a refund. At this point, the customer service rep that I was dealing with started to get very pushy and rude. He did not want to start the refund process. I had him speak with my mechanic, and even after doing that was still rude to me. It took several days and phone calls to get anyone to help me. I did finally get a refund, but I was out a few hundred dollars due to shipping. This was a big ordeal and I would not suggest buying from this company.

The first motor was a reman it…

The first motor was a reman it developed a knock in the first 10 mins of running the motor, found metal shavings in the oil pan sent the motor back for a exchange, second motor was not a reman but a 50,000 mile motor with a 1yr warranty, installed the motor to only find out number 6 cyclinder was dead. They did not want to replace the motor or refund the money so after 2 motors and 2 installs engine world was a extremely costly experience.

Great prices on my MZR short block

I got a great deal on my short block. Loved that they gave me tracking on my shipment as soon as it left their hands. The only thing I didn't like is when I received the block it was upside down on the head surface. I did plan to get the deck surfaced any way but would have liked to see the block in a better position than face down. Other than that it arrived better than expected and described.

I am delighted with engine I purchased, and also with the service provided by Englineworld. Would recommend to anyone, especially someone who has been given a bloated price for changing a head gasket - just get an engine from Engineworld!
