I attended a 1 to 1 training session with David and it was brilliant....He tailored the training to my requirements and provided an excellent informative day. The model he booked was also amazing which made things much easier for us to concentrate on lighting. I might attend another course with a few photographers next time to add some more images for my portfolio. next stop is my own studio...Thank you :) David

I attended this workshop with David and have to say it was amazing. David is very knowledgeable and down to earth. His style is something I admire and hope to replicate to add to my own skills. He also has a great taste in music! Lunch was great too. The studio is warm and comfortable and well equipped. Our model for the day was the wonderful Carla Monaco, David uses some great models for these workshops. The feel was laid back but productive with plenty of time to shoot each set. I would highly recommend this course. Thanks David

A very good and relaxed day with David who made us welcome as we arrived. The studio is adequately equipped for the workshops that are run there. There was plenty of time to take some photos and no timed slots no one 'hogged' the session. A quick demonstration of post production work ended the day.
All in all a very good workshop.

David did our engagement and wedding photos. In both cases he produced brilliant, highly professional photos. He was fantastic at helping us create the pictures we wanted and was also very good at being unobtrusive and blending in to the background when needed during the wedding, whilst still coming up with amazing photos. David is really friendly, very easy going and was great at all the admin related stuff before the wedding too.

We'd definitely recommend English Photoworks to everyone who wants beautiful photos that really capture an incredible day

My daughter had an opportunity to work with David in 2018. He was very professional from the right beginning to the end of our communication. It was a real pleasure and honour to be able to shoot with him. The final images were stunning and something that we treasure for life. Thanks, David!

Excellent communication, David was friendly & welcoming ensuring we knew what to expect in advance of my sons shoot so we felt prepared.
David put my son at ease and explained clearly what picture / poses he was going to take and the whole shoot went really smoothly.
I was extremely happy with the images I received. I was particularly impressed by the lighting and the composition. I was also informed of the time they would take.
I would definitely recommend.

David ran a workshop that I attended. I found him to be very pleasant, welcoming, knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. His style was relaxed and he made the day fun without being cheesy or patronising. The workshop was very informative and full of those 'why didn't I think of that' moments. His choice of model was superb and the pace and timing was just right. The cherry on the cake was the delicious lunch. All in all I would recommend one of Davids workshops to anyone looking to move up to the next level with their photography.

David is a lovely guy and an incredibly talented photographer, and would thoroughly recommend him if you wanted to attend one of his workshops which I would say are the best of it's kind in the UK.
