From the initial consultation to returning home has been a fantastic experience. Dr Krishnan and all his Team were very approachable, informative and supportive. It is now over a year since my transplant at Sollihull with Dr Krishnan and his team. They did a wonderful job. I now have hair and a proper hair line where before I didn't have, ever!
My only regret is not having my procedure earlier, as in years ago, but hey, better late than never!

i am 2 years post hair transplant with Enhance. My journey from initial consultation(s) with Steve through to the procedure with Dr. Krishnan and his team has been very very pleasing.

Fantastic knowledge and skilled surgeons have left me with life changing results. Totally trustworthy professionals throughout that I couldn’t praise higher.

I was allowed to choose what to watch on a large screen tv during the procedure (apologies if my choices were not to others tastes 😊) and,this is very important to me, I was kept supplied with excellent cups of tea.
The necessary steps for aftercare were explained well to me and a follow up phone call when I arrived home to check all was well.

I had a very good experience from start to finish !
The team was lovely and very professional.
The surgeon took the time to explained to me everything that I needed to know and create the look that I wanted .

I had an FUE hair transplant from enhance in September 2022 so I am almost 2 years post procedure. I feel as though it’s important to wait until you get the final results as a lot of the reviews seem to be done straight after the procedure which arguably isn’t the most important part !

In regards to customer service I would say it was fairly mixed as on the positive side Steve was always on hand to answer any questions that I had, and post surgery I was able to contact the surgery team if I had any questions or issues. However prior to surgery I received a couple of incorrect documents through which outlined the wrong type of procedure and wrong admission time which I had to get back in touch with them to clarify and was fairly concerning. Saying that, my treatment on the day was superb and was made to feel very comfortable by the team. I was at the clinic for around 9 hours which included a pre-op consultation and hairline design. The surgery itself was straightforward and there was tv/radio and snacks to keep me entertained throughout the day.

I had around 1600 grafts placed on my hairline and was able to drive home the same day. My recovery was very straightforward with no complications.

Whilst my hair has improved (a lower and straighter hairline), I’m not blown away by the results as the density of the transplanted hair isn’t great. The hairline, however, does look natural which is something that isn’t always achieved from other clinics and was one of the reasons I chose enhance based on photos of their work.

Enhance was one of the more expensive clinics that I’d researched, and it makes you wonder if I’d have got a similar result at a cheaper clinic which is something I’ll bear in mind when/if considering further procedures.

Overall, I’d say my experience with enhance has been fairly positive. One important thing to bear in mind (which I feel wasn’t particularly well explained by enhance) is that you should probably plan on having two procedures if you want full density. Two procedures, thus, is an expensive process depending on your level of hair loss. There are also other considerations such as the use of medical therapy which is important.

It's early days since my procedure but my experience at the clinic was a generally positive one. The doctor and his assistants put me at ease at all times and I felt so relaxed that I actually fell asleep whilst they plucked doner hair out of the back of my head. Everything was explained and I felt that I could ask any questions, how ever daft. There was a clerical error which meant that I fasted unnecessarily for my procedure. But as I say, I have no complaint about the team who carried out my procedure. I enjoyed the experience and would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Would highly recommend enhance hair restoration to anyone friends or family. I had the best experience right from the consultation with Steve right through to the day of surgery. Dr Gaugher was great and explained the whole procedure beforehand and was there throughout the day. The whole team was very professional including the technicians and me feel welcome and at ease. 10/10 experience and I'm loving the results so far!

The team were great on the day and Dr Krishnan who did the FUE was exceptional. Would highly recommend. A small gripe was paying up front for 3000 grafts after a video consultation, and on the day we could only get 2000. I suggest if you have time, do a face to face for the initial consultation. The team did say other methods were possible to get another 1000 grafts in the future if I wanted.

The doctor was very accommodating to my request (hair related)and the nurses were lovely, great experience all around.

I went to Enhance for a hair transplant, which was on 25th July. I am over the moon with the care and consideration I have received. I was kept informed of everything they were going to do through each procedure. Nothing was too much trouble and was happy to discuss what they were doing during the transplant. I was completely pain free during the procedure and so I was completely relaxed. Everyone is so friendly that it immediately put my mind at rest as I was extremely nervous. My experience was 10/10 and would be happy to recommend them to anyone who asked.

The team on the day were fantastic. Anything I needed to ensure optimum comfort was there. I felt that the day was about me and what was needed for me. Everyone had a smile on their faces and made you feel at easy.

Had an amazing experience at Enhance. Was given tons of support and guidance the months preceding my operation so I knew exactly what to expect. And from the moment I stepped into the clinic, the entire team made me feel comfortable and welcome during my time there. The operation went very smoothly with minimal discomfort (admittedly I was a bit nervous about the anaesthetic as I’d heard it could be quite painful, but the team was very reassuring and I was surprised at how short this initial discomfort lasted for). Was provided with a light lunch and plenty of snacks during the day, and was able to listen to music and watch Netflix during the procedure, which kept me entertained and relaxed the entire time. A team of staff provided expert care on the day. Really looking forward to seeing the results.

Of course I was slightly nervous and apprehensive, But from the moment I entered "Enhance" in Birmingham everyone was kind, courteous, and extremely professional. Everyone involved made my visit as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
I'm home now with a comprehensive aftercare pack following my procedure, which I am delighted with. Dr Krishnan is a fabulous chap, and I can't thank him and his team enough.

This review concerns the hair transplant operation itself. Full results are only visible some 9 months after the operation so I'll update on this aspect of the experience at a later date. The team were highly professional. The facility is very clean, modern and well situated. On the day of my transplant I was signed in swiftly at reception and then met Dr. Krishnan for a thorough consultation. He took great interest in understanding in detail my needs and diagnosing the best course of action. He fully explained everything that was to come. The surgical room where the procedure takes place is well setup and comfortable. The only painful part is the administering of the anesthetic, which is unavoidable. Dr. Krishnan explained what he was doing and also had a nice bedside manner to ensure a relaxed and calm atmosphere. The temperature in the operating theatre was kept quite cool, necessary to preserve the grafts, but I was given a blanket to keep comfortable. It is worth mentioning that there is a whole team working for the full day of the procedure, not just the doctor. He has a team of three assistants who work to process the grafts and assist in the transplanting. They were all very kind, considerate and thoroughly professional. I was given a light lunch (I had selected my options at the beginning of the day). The morning is when the grafts were taken from the donor area and the afternoon is when the donor grafts were transplanted to the recipient (i.e. balding) areas. All-in-all it is a long 8 hour process, but for most of it I was relaxed and comfortable and took some time to catch up on podcasts. After it was all finished, I was given very thorough follow-up and aftercare instructions. I was kindly provided with a package that contains all the items needed for the aftercare, such as baby shampoo, saline solutions and spritzer, an inflatable travel pillow, spare surgical head wraps, pillow covers and thorough written instructions. I appreciated being given all these items rather than having to get them myself. I received a phone call the next day to further discuss after care and any questions that may have arisen in the meantime. I am now in the aftercare / healing process and all is going well with no issues so far. More to come ....
