Easy, honest and good prices - I particularly like that they explicitly tell you that you are ok to decline the horrible hard selling of the local desk on insurance if you have paid for cover up front - so many people are terrified into paying again when at pick up!

I booked a hire car through EnjoyTravel…
I booked a hire car through EnjoyTravel for a family holiday abroad and it turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.
The booking was made for a 10:00 collection, but due to flight timings, airport delays, baggage collection and travelling with our four-month-old baby, we didn't arrive until around 16:20. When we reached the supplier, our booking had already been cancelled and we were told we had effectively lost over £500.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that no flight details were requested during the booking, so there was never any opportunity for the supplier to monitor delays. Despite this, EnjoyTravel simply hid behind their terms and conditions rather than applying any common sense or customer care.
I raised a formal complaint, explaining the circumstances and asking them to review the situation. It was rejected twice with what appeared to be template responses that ignored many of the points I had raised. I was then invited to escalate the complaint further and told I would receive a response within 14 days.
That deadline has now passed and I've received nothing at all.
The whole experience has shown a complete lack of flexibility, accountability and customer service. They were quick to take my money, but when there was a genuine issue, there was no willingness to help or even respond within their own stated timescales.
If you're considering booking through EnjoyTravel, be aware that if anything goes wrong, you may find yourself paying hundreds of pounds with little support afterwards.
I certainly won't be using them again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

We're sorry to hear that you're disappointed. The collection time you selected forms part of the rental agreement, and as the vehicle was not collected within the supplier's permitted grace period, the booking was treated as a no-show in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions.

Appalling experience
Appalling experience. We rented a car from Greece through Enjoy Travel. The company (Green Motion) was reviewed with a high rating on Easy Travels website but we later found it was a one star on google, trust pilot and trip advisor! After hiring and fully paying for 6 days car hire with added excess insurance cover, on arrival 2 customers were angry because they had been left at the airport and told their bookings had been cancelled. We then arrived and were told we weren’t going to be given any car or a refund because we brought a Mastercard/debit card to pay for the deposit. I offered to pay using google pay with a credit card but they refused even tho they had the machine available that would have taken the payment just like any other card. We were out onto a manager over the phone who then threatened us with the police and said there was a camera in their office. I had my relative with me who can verify that I didn’t say anything inflammatory or wrong , but this anonymous, remote manager seemed to be quick with threats as tho this is something that happens regularly. I assured it was good there was a camera because I hadn’t said or done anything wrong. After hours of trying to see if they would help us and getting nowhere we had to hire another car from elsewhere which cost double the price. When we left we met another customer who said they had done the same thing to her but they offered her to pay 120 euros to accept her debit card! We approached Easy Travel and they have refused to help refund us for the car we never received and said the terms and conditions covered them. I have re looked at the travel voucher and it doesn’t mention anything about a credit card being used for the deposit. Regardless, we offered them an alternative and they point blank refused. It’s just so easy for these companies to fleece tourists. I don’t understand how they have a 4 star rating. If they cared about customers they would have tried to at least reimburse us for our booking.

The requirement to present a valid physical credit card in the main driver's name for the security deposit is clearly stated before booking on our website and is repeated on your rental voucher, which also includes a pre-travel checklist reminding customers to verify the supplier's accepted payment methods before collection.
Unfortunately, where a supplier requires a physical credit card, alternative payment methods such as Google Pay cannot be accepted in its place.
We also cannot comment on anecdotal accounts relating to other customers or reviews on third-party websites. Our ratings are based on verified customer feedback received through our own platform.
