Enterprise Car Rental Studio City California
When you call for a reservation you always get the store and not a call center, which speeds things up greatly. They tell you what is in the yard now and available. When I hear they have a vehicle available that is preferred, an offer is made to pick me up home and return. As a senior, this makes the Studio City location my only call for a rental.

I reserved a 7 seater caravan 4 weeks in advance, when I got to your centre Ryan the manager who was a pleasant person to deal with told me they had no caravan to give me. So I was offered a smaller car I had 4 adults and 3 big children hence the need for a 7 seater. I kept the car for 3 weeks then returned it after Ryan could not source me a 7 seater. Every time I spoke to your customer support over the phone I would get empty promises of we will call you back with a solution but NO ONE CALLED BACK. I kept a car that I had no need for for 3 weeks. I am deeply disappointed with the law level of professionalism within your staff. The only decent person who kept me updated was Ryan.
I will be sharing my disappointment with trust pilot and my own social media platform. I am now back home in UK very frustrated by enterprise who ruined our holiday

Wow it great to see that I am not the only one who feels very strong about the business practices of Enterprise Rent A Car, Over the holidays my daughter rented from Enterprise RAC in Aurora Colorado. The second day the vehicle had a flat tire, much to our surprise no spare either. She rented a mini van because she has 4 children all under the age of 10. I spoke to 7 different reps in 7 different locations and advised me that (1 no roadside assistance) (2) would need a tow truck to bring it to the location she rented it which I might add closed at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Long story short, we had to buy fix a flat until the vehicle could be returned 5 days later. Worst company to rent from.
The worst customer service
I had a hired car from this company in March 2020 via Alfa Romeo while my own car was undergoing some warranty work at Arnold Clarke in Leeds. I returned the vehicle to Arnold Clark on 5/3 for them to pick up and collected my own car. On 31/3 I received a notice of intended prosecution from West Yorkshire Police telling me the hired vehicle had been recorded speeding on 6/3 at 12:28. Enterprise confirmed later that they had the vehicle registered as being returned to their Queens Road Bradford Depot at 13:04. I WAS NOT the driver as I had returned the car the previous day They have subsequently charged my credit card £35.00 as an admin charge in relation to the speeding offence. i have been trying to get Enterprise to admit liability for a month now via calls to their branches at both Huddersfield and Bradford and despite being promised that it would be sorted and that I would receive email confirmation - I have received nothing. On 23/3 I decided to expose them on twitter where i was assured by their customer services via DM that the matter would be escalated to senior management and would be resolved. A week later (nothing in the meantime) they have referred me to their traffic violations department who are not responding to calls because of Covid-19. You couldn't make it up!! Avoid this company!

Booked to a van hire for a business …
Booked to a van hire for a business move. We Received confirmation of booking and because we were working to tight timescales with drivers, access to materials and premises, we contacted their service centre to ensure everything was in place.
On the day of the hire we arrived at the rental station 30 mins before the hire was due to start so we could check over the vehicle and complete all the paperwork. However, there was no van - our van was in another depot 25 miles away so a 50 mile round trip. When we asked when the staff were arriving with the vehicle we were told they hadn't even set off but could do get the vehicle here in under an hour ! Which would more likely be 90mins to 2 hours. Then we would have to return, check over the vehicle and complete the paperwork another 30 mins. With a moving window of 5 hours we had no time to complete the work.
The rental staff had no concept of how much replanning, cost and frustration these delays cause to businesses. When we asked for the hire to be extended for an extra half day to allow us to reschedule after the disruption and having to move the work to a following day - we were told it we would have to pay for an entire day !! even though it was their fault and we would be extremely out of pocket.
To show how the run their business and levels of morals, a different sized van intended for another customer arrived. We were told we could have that one instead of the other customer. We asked what they were going to give the other customer ? And were told "we will deal with that when they arrive to collect their vehicle" Which just shifts the problem to another customer.
We had more morals than Enterprise and cancelled our rental and left without the substitute vehicle.

Learn from my experience--NEVER book with Alamo/Enterprise rent a car
Learn from my experience--NEVER book with Enterprise-Rent-a-Car!!!
I made a booking in Berlin Tegel airport.
If you arrive earlier than your booking time, then offer you a downgrade car.
But when they are late -it's your problem, not theirs.
They frighten you to buy their "all inclusive" insurance, because if you don’t, for every little scratch they will hold all the deductable (850 EUR).
But when you do need to use that insurance—whatever is your case-“it is not covered”, and they tell you are fully responsible for the damage and will have to pay the full price!
They never return the deductable, no matter how small your "damage" is.
And when you write to their “Customer Support”, you are nothing for them. They just fling you away and wait till you wear out and stop bothering them.
Do not let them cheat you-NEVER BOOK WITH THEM-save your nerves and money.
Rented a car from Alamo by Enterprise in Berlin, Germany
Rented a car from Alamo - Enterprise in Berlin Tegel Airport for few days July 2017.
On return company representative did assessment and accepted the car as ''no problem, all OK''. We both walked around the car and checked the condition. I was explained that there was excess of money reserved on my credit card and remaining unused 250 Euro will be returned back on my account in couple days. Rep printed out the final receipt, and gave it to me.
Surprisingly two hours later my card got charged for 930 Euro instead of expected refund of 250 Euro.
I enquired about the unusual bill at Alamo by Enterprise via email. Reply stated that car was returned with damage (!?!) which I had pointed out the damage to company representative at the time of inspection. This is clearly not true, because we both inspected the car and it was in perfect condition at that point of the time. Otherwise receptionist should not have printed final receipt with the refund of 250 Euro included.
Nobody invited me to go to the counter to file the claim as there was no reason for the claim to be documented at the time of return.
There were couple interesting findings in attached documents from Alamo by Enterprise.
1) The pictures of the car had been taken in Enterprise car park Bay Nr. 21 on the ground level. Obviously this car had been moved since I left it in perfect condition in Car Return bay on the first floor.
2) The 'damage' on the rear bumper looked more like a simple line made by black marker without any other marks of impact on pics, which would explain the 'crack'.
My complaint to Enterprise office about unacceptable practice took more than a month to review by them. Claims office replied that they rather trust the statements of employees, remain with their 'legitimate demand' and insist on invoice.
As a result of all this mess I got fleeced by 1000$ for no reason. Enterprise did not care to provide me with invoice explaining full costs and what repairs (if any) been done.
These illegal practices are used by too many rental companies in Europe lately and travellers get ripped-off for hidden charges and penalties for nonexistent damages.
Take pictures before you rent a car and after return. Insist on signed 'no damage, no complaint' statement on the contract after returning car back.
Enterprise Holdings Inc. operating Alamo - Enterprise - National in Europe can not be trusted. Beware!
Worst customer service EVER
Worst customer service EVER, so much so I have been reduced to tears. They have completely ruined my day.I have been given the run around and am still waiting for my problem to be resolved.
(In case any of you do decide to use this company and I definitely wouldn't recommend it but please be advised that you get different rates dependent upon which branch you use so shop around.)
Excessive charges
We were offered a rental car from our insurance co when our car was in the garage . This company charge £250 excess per issue with every car regardless if it's your fault or not ... they offer a £10 per day charge to make the excess £0 ... great way to add extra charges to a customer.....
Thieves and Scammers
Thieves & scammers! Do not use this company!
I rented a car from skyscanner from my recent trip to Basel and selected enterprise car.
Overall I did not have any bad experience when i took the car and returned it.
However they sent me that there was a scratch in the front bumper which never happened and they charged me 350 pounds for something I never did - without proving any photo evidence or even having some kind of time stamp photos! It was just an email saying the damage without any other evidence. The deposit was never returned not even the rest of the money after even the damage!
Avoid this company as they want to take advantage the thing that you are paying a deposit in advantage and you are not present when they evaluate the car!!! The can claim any damage that you did without even sending you a proof but only the report itself.
I will be going to report this company to local authorities and request a dispute.
Absolutely unacceptable!!!
Enterprise ruined our entire holidays.
We planned our summer holydays in Ireland. We booked a car with Entreprise Dublin Airport from Monday 1 August until Friday 5 August. The Entreprise employee told us everything was in place and ok with the car.
Monday 1 August
. 3pm- accident resulting in one flat tyre and the other one with a large bulge on it.
. 4:50pm- recovery vehicle tow us to Kwik Fit in Belfast. The front tyre is replaced, but not the rear one because there was no locking nut key in the car. Enterprise tells us that that at 8pm we would be towed to Belfast International airport where we would be given another car. We had to wait outside at the parking of Kwik Fit, with no food or access to WC for almost 3 hours.
. 8:50pm- A recovery van arrived, but it’s not a tow truck and the employee wasn’t informed about our situation. The only solution was to drive very slowly.
. 9.40pm- At Enterprise Belfast International Airport, they told us that they couldn’t give us a new car.
. 11pm- even with the tyre on those conditions putting us at risk, we drove to Larne to our hotel.
Tuesday 2 August
. 10:30am- We had to make several phone to know at what time the assistance vehicle would arrive to change the tyre.
.11am- check out from the hotel room and waiting with our luggage at the hotel lobby for the car assistance.
. 12:40pm- we received a call telling us that they couldn’t do the job because they couldn’t charge Enterprise Dublin Airport.
. 1:40pm- the Kiwk Fit Mobile van arrived, but the technician also wasn’t informed about the missing locking nut key. Because of that he couldn’t do anything.
. 4.12pm- We are informed that a tow truck will come to pick us up and takes back again to Enterprise Belfast International Airport to get a new car.
. 5:50pm- The tow truck from Agnew Company arrived and took us to Enterprise Belfast International Airport.
. 6:45pm- We arrive at Enterprise Belfast International Airport, where we are given a new car.
20:30pm- We arrive at our previously booked hotel, in Bushmills
Enterprise Rent-a-Car Customer Service failure
. Enterprise Rent-a-Car failed when gave us a car without the locking nut key in it.
. Enterprise Rent-a-Car failed to solve our problem in an acceptable time frame. The problem lasted from 3:15pm Monday 1 August when it was first reported until 6:45pm Tuesday 2 August when we were given a new car.
. Enterprise Rent-a-Car failed completely at customer service:
a) No one took proper care of our problem up until 1:03pm Tuesday 2 August.
b) During the first day (Monday 1 August) we had to speak several time to different people, always being forced to repeat all the details of the situation.
c) At the end of an exhausting and extremely stressful day (Monday 1 August) one of your employees yelled at us and treated us with disrespect (see above). You must keep record of all my calls from my phone number. I have the record of all the calls made to and from your numbers.
d) Enterprise Rent-a-Car deceived us in many ways:
a. On the first day (Monday 1 August) you told us that we would have a replacement car at Enterprise Belfast International Airport, but when we got there we didn’t.
b. On the second day (Tuesday 2 August) we had to call you and repeat the details of the problem all over again, and still the assistance van arrived with no locking nut key.
c. Even then, from this call on we had to wait 7 hours in a hotel lobby for a solution to a problem that you were informed about many times during the previous day.
d. Enterprise Rent-a-Car is a company that practises misleading advertising. We chose you because of price and also based on your customer service allegations.
In short, we paid for a service that wasn’t provided from a company that doesn’t comply to what it sells and advertises.
Consequences to our holiday plan
. Two of our five holiday days were spent waiting for your help or going from one place to another mislead by you.
. The plans that we had for these two first days were the main reason why we decided to do this trip (Giant Causeway Coastal Route).
. Due to this car problem that Enterprise Rent-a-Car didn’t solve in an acceptable time frame, we weren’t able to do what we had planned for these two first days. Nonetheless we tried to change our hotel bookings in order to see if it was still possible to do what we had planned during the next days. But it wasn’t possible.
. We were exhausted and extremely stressed for the rest of our holidays due to this situation. Furthermore we are still spending a considerable amount of time of our holidays addressing this situation (getting information on Irish and European customer service legislation, writing complaint, talking to Enterprise Rent-a-Car Dublin on the last day for a resolution).
. In short, we had only one proper day of holiday.
Reparation
. We demand a full holiday refund:
a) Aeroplane tickets
b) Hotels
c) Rental car (full petrol tank and full coverage)
d) Phone calls made to solve this problem
e) Meals
. We demand a compensation for health and psychological damages (stress)
We are prepared, resolved and determined to take this case to its last resort.
On the make.
Well I have just had £82.00 filched from my account from this outfit who are very enterprising when it comes to making money from another company's customers. We spoke to our brake down company when we had a car failure and this was company we had to use. First they dropped the car off with no preamble - the people spoke very little English code for cheap workers. A call to the local Enterprise office revealed we were covered by the AA though not this was an extra charge. We had to call the AA out and got charged by Enterprise for doing so. Anyway staying in a holiday cottage we got a call from them to give Enterprise a ring. Why bother when they have the card details and just took the money anyway. It really is a crime giving card details. It really is a licence for the company you give them to to take money at will.
By the way Enterprise has the dubious claim to be: "Always looking for someone to enter our management training programme".
Bad management and poor customer service
We booked our car through Rentalcars.com with Alamo, service being provided by Enterprise Barcelona Sants Train Station. We returned the car on time, without any damage and the staff member who attended us at the drop off told us everything was fine and our deposit would be returned to us in a couple of days. However, a couple of days later only a part of the deposit was credited back to our credit card. We tried to reach the Entrerprise office several times by phone during working hours but noone picked up. Luckily we could still pass by the office in person and try to solve the issue. After some waiting we were finally attended by a staff member who could have a look at our issue. It turned out that there had been some mistake and therefore we didn't get all the money back. The staff member then sent an internal email asking to return the rest of the deposit to us which eventually happened a few days later. Luckily. However, throughout all this experience we haven't heard a single word of apology for all the inconvenience caused by a mistake made by someone in Enterprise. Even though it was not the fault of the particular staff member who was attending us, it is still polite to apologize. Not to mention the fact that we were not able to solve this issue by phone with them but had to come in person. This is just not how a customer should be treated by a serious company.
