    Very good but...

    The transition went very smoothly and I am happy with it. What I find annoying is the needless step to run a hard credit check for an energy switch that affects one's credit score... The vast majority of energy suppliers can get what they need for prospective clients with a soft check. I applied for a switch in energy providers - not a half a million mortgage...

    UK power is too expensive - E.on need to change their mindset

    UK power is too expensive. These big companies must do much more to minimise the costs rather than profiting under the banner of inflation. Switching was easy but bitter sweet because of this.

    The virtual chat was helpful as far as it went but I would have liked advice about what I was trying to do or even for the offer of doing it for me as I was having difficulty doing it myself. It would have been better to actually talk to someone on the phone to explain.

    Seamless switchover to Eon

    Made the switch to Eon after doing a price comparison on Money Supermarket. The switch over was seamless and saves me money on a fixed term tariff .
    The App is easy to navigate and the data transferred to my smart meter very quickly .
    Customer service support excellent when I submitted a meter reading .
    Overall excellent .

    I had the biggest doubts in the world…

    I had the biggest doubts in the world about switching from OVO to Eon next solely due to bad reviews i read on reddit.
    Its been 1 week since the switch. No issues with the app. The prices seem to be correct. The support team answers quick if any concerns or questions. Im glad i made the switch. Hopefully there wont be a negative update.
