Excellent experience. Rang up EQi to reset a password after being locked out of my account. I was expecting it to be a lengthy & complex process as these things often can be. Turned out to be very straightforward. Spoke to a chap called Peter, one of their customer service reps who talked me through the process. I was back online in a matter of minutes. Why can’t everything be this simple?! Thanks Pete! You were a great help & a pleasure to deal with.

Once again, a year had passed since I last checked in on my ISA, and I was struggling to log on. Sarah came to my rescue, with a calm and professional reassurance. She quickly completed the ID checks and got straight into resolving my problem, swiftly and efficiently. I transferred my current shares ISA to this company because I need to receive shares from my company, which can only work with this platform.

They took more than 3 months for the transfer, and even after this long waiting time, they only managed to transfer the shares only.
When I contact them multiple times, all agents respond with a different message. The last agent (Liam) said "I don't know there are also cash coming in".
That means my £30k cash went missing and they never know where it is - till today.

On the face of it, EQi's Flexible Stocks and Shares ISA is a great product. However, they are so slow to act on instructions that it's impossible to recommend. Their SLA for making transfers into it is 10 working days which is far too long to start with. On top of that, the 10 days isn't from when you send your instruction – it's from when they forward your instruction to the processing team so the real SLA is 11-12 working days. Their slowness is likely to result in a significant tax liability for me, which negates the entire point of the product. I want to love it, but it's impossible to recommend the service given their current service level. I will update this review if things improve over the next few weeks.
Update: EQi’s complaints department got in touch and were able to intervene to get this process sped up sufficiently for me so that the transfers all went through in time…just about. If only it could have been happened smoothly all along.

I had struggled with an earlier colleague who, now I know, wasn’t aware you have two portals, Equinity and EQI for ISA’s.
Bhumika Sadananda Recognised it straight away from the account number and from 30 minutes on the phone getting nowhere in five minutes I was up and running😎
