Poor communication
Ordered a turnout rug on 22nd November and not yet received. Emailed twice to chase up the order and received a reply after the second email to say my order was now high priority to be dispatched (order 29102). The same morning, I received an email to say the rug is now out of stock! How did it take 2 weeks to realise it was out of stock?! I desperately need this rug and was asked if I’d like an alternative but after replying to them saying I needed an alternative asap (rather than a refund as thought this would be quicker) I have had no response! I am so disappointed with this company as I am in desperate need of this rug and I am getting no response from them. Please can someone look into this to this and send me a replacement?
Appalling Company
I ordered a rug from these guys on the 19th of November, website said to allow 10 days for delivery, so after the 10 days i checked my emaol to see if the item had been dispatched, nothing, sent them an email asking about my item, nothing. The upshot is i never received my item and there has been no communication from this company, it is now in the hands of paypal to get my money back. AVOID this company

My daughter ordered a riding hat with her own pocket money but it never arrived. After much discussion they did finally refund the total amount. I was pleasantly surprised she did receive a refund but I wouldn’t buy again due to the reviews and our personal experience
Poor customer service
Edit: I have since received my refund and received good customer service since writing my review. I have now changed the rating. This was during the Christmas period where it’s bound to be busy and replies can be slow. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again, and they will get my custom in the future.
I ordered a pink leather collar with a brown backing but Equus sent the wrong one with a turquoise backing. I emailed customer service straight away on 22/11/24 to sort out the situation and they finally replied on 27/11/24 saying they’d give me a 30% refund and I can keep the collar. I replied back saying I do not want this collar as it’s the incorrect one, and I’d like to return it and get the one I ordered. It’s now 03/12/24 and I have not received a response since.
The customer service team is really lacking in efficient and helpful replies. All I want to do is buy a new collar elsewhere as I don’t trust this company will deliver - my dog still has no collar as I’m waiting for this issue to be sorted!
Sadly I doubt I will be buying from this company again.

Ordered a riding hat on 28/10/24 which on the website said is in stock. I contacted them a few weeks later as I still hadn’t heard anything about my order. My reading reviews on here I seem to have had their template apology letter blaming warehouse stock issues. A couple of weeks down the line and still nothing.

Do not order from this company. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered!!!!! I received a pair of boots which are not true to size. In fact two sizes too small! I’ve emailed and I’ve messaged on Facebook. I’ve heard nothing in over a week! Scam!!!
Utterly disappointed
Utterly disappointed! Communication is poor, I ordered an item almost a month ago, when after 2wks the status still showed ‘ordered’ I chased it up I eventually got a reply back saying “it takes time to receive an item from overflow warehouse”, still nothing and no updates 2wks on eventually got a reply from my 2nd email “unfortunately, this is due to an issue with the stock with the overflow warehouse.” So to be clear it shows available on website but it’s not actually available how big is this warehouse if it takes over a month to locate it - requested a refund, still waiting for a reply.
This was a birthday present for my daughter (22nd Nov) I feel awful as no gift and no sign of when or if it would ever arrive.

Placed an order for 2 shavings forks on 16 November 2024. I emailed the company on 28 November, to check my order would be despatched the next working day - as their website says to allow up to 10 working days. I have not received a response. How is this company is still in business!!! I will not be ordering from them again.

Ordered a high Viz Jacket, size medium, which is too small even though I am a regular size 12. I’ve attempted to contact them 3 times via email and each time my emails fail to be delivered and are returned. I’ve sent 2 messages via their website and still not received a response. It is impossible to phone this company as they provide no contact details.
I’ve returned the item by Royal Mail tracked post but still have no response from Equus. No replacement and no refund. An utterly stressful and dreadful experience - so disappointed.
Cancel my order!
Ordered an item on 5th November 2024. After a few days, I contacted them because I had not heard from them, and was told that dispatch is 10 days after placing the order. Fair enough I thought! Be patient! I was assured that due to delivery issues, the item will be shipped on the 19th November the latest, and I will receive an email with the Fedex tracking. The 19th came - nothing! After a couple of days, I contacted them again inquiring about tracking details and got the same reply: delivery issues, shipping will happen very soon, loads of apologies etc. I wrote back and told them that if I have not received the item by 30th November, I will cancel the order......within less than 30 minutes, I received an email with the Fedex tracking information; and the item has just arrived. RESULT! Needless to say, I will not order from this company again nor recommend it to my friends! It's a shame that some companies need a reality check before they actually jump into action!

Absolute shambles of customer service! Ordered my items on the 9/11/2024. Received a broken bottle and trigger only! Another four items Im still waiting for! They wanted proof of broken bottle. So sent a photo still no reply! Emailed three times now for a response and to find out where the rest of the order is! Ive heard nothing! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I returned my order via Royal Mail tracked the return which was received. Equus deny receiving it so I sent copy of returned receipt. They haven't replied to my email and still not received a refund. Gone through my bank to get it back. They aret totally useless and appalling.

Ordered brushing boots for my daughters birthday which has now been and gone 3 weeks ago...still have not received item...customer service is appalling. Just want my money back and no one is getting back to me. Avoid at all costs.
Wrong item sent, no customer service support!
I ordered 3 items and received a confirmation email stating it could take up to 10 days to dispatch! I was pleased when the following day I was informed it was being shipped and it arrived on time. I was suspicious when I saw the package as it seemed too small, and discovered they had sent a single item, completely different to what I ordered.
I have contacted customer service and no one has acknowledged my email. I would expect a response within the same working day to at least advise they were looking into it - better still a confirmation that the correct items were being sent as fast as possible. I will update if and when I receive a response, but so far I would advise keeping well away from this company.

Items took more than a month to arrive and then most of it was missing anyway and only dispatched after I pointed out that it was missing. Will not be using this shop again.
