Scam. Scam. Scam.

The day after I received my first letter from them, yes I've had more, I had an email from the company that installed my panels warning me of this scam that's doing the rounds. Avoid at all costs.

Received a letter from them and like others on here it is addressed to The Homeowner. It is vague and not well written. My warrenty MAY be due to expire -- so they clearly don't know. After stating that most installations have a warrenty of 5 years, they then state in a seperate sentence "This means a huge proportion of millions of solar installations in the UK have now expired." As a stand alone sentence it appears to have been deliberately phrased as a scare tactic, as it implies your solar installation has expired.

This company is sending out letters for a 'free health check'.
IT'S A SCAM.
The letter is addressed to 'The Homeowner', meaning they have merely obtained the address from the Solar PV lists which is available to anyone in the Solar PV business.
Again IT'S A SCAM, just tear up the letter and ignore.

Dont trust them - received a letter from them adressed to "homeowner" - they would not tell me anything at all (even in the most general terms) unlesss I gave my full name "to match with their records". They claimed they could not do this from my post code or the reference number on the letter they had sent me. They claimed they already had my name but could not tell me where they had got it from and why they did not use it when they wrote to my address.

Received letter regarding my solar panels system purporting to be about a free health check and service and that warranty may be due to expire.
Spoke to company that installed my system and they tell me that this is just scare tactics from this company to get their foot in the door to sell more stuff.
The letter was only addressed to "homeowner"
