Found it more reliable than Airalo for two trips to NZ. Will now use Holafly as my go to travel eSIM
Easy and reliable
It was easy to choose a plan and install the e-sim. The data was reliable through out my whole trip, whether I was in the city or in the mountains. 10/10

I was sent a coupon code from the…
I was sent a coupon code from the company expired upon being sent. To get it to work at all agents promised to get back with me with a 72 hour window and did nowt. I reached out 2* . Additional trouble occured.
In addition I was signed up for a subscription when I did reach an agent when I wanted only 17 days of a service. I was the charged again today and given a reference number for a refund that matches the 25 percent refund given as the service did not work as intended on vacation.
Hola fly is unclear with support staff that well into 1.5hours into a service session say I did not understand and I can't help you. 1. Why was a vode sent to me deactivated 2. Why wad I told I could not be helped 1.5 hours into a combo 3. I believe your company has undertaken questionable practices . 4. Why is the support lacking and the systems .
I will be reaching out to visa and my financial institution as I think the practices are concerning as undertaken by Holafly.

Shocking
Currently sitting in Canada with my family. Purchased 4 ESIMS and two are not working.
I have been on the chat for over an hour and did everything I was asked and now Emma from Holafly is not responding to messages. I have two children and we all need to keep in touch, as well as my husband’s phone is required for incoming business calls.
Absolutely outrageous after paying £154. I will be taking matters further when I get home. All sims are activated but 2 are not working and all the settings are correct.

Case #215474586102188
Case #215474586102188 — Order #E7603346. 152 days.
On 12 January 2026, I submitted a formal request for access, portability and information under the GDPR. After 152 days, the traceability of my case within Holafly remains unclear.
The support team, located outside the European Economic Area, has repeatedly stated that my file is in the hands of the "Legal Team" and that I should await their contact. However, other agents admit that such contact has not taken place. When asked who makes up that legal team, the answers have been evasive or contradictory. At one point, the Clients Director, Miguel del Real, was identified as part of the legal team, despite his professional profile and position not formally corresponding to that function. Immediately afterwards, the conversation was forcibly closed.
The privacy policy refers to the DPO. The cookie notice refers to a different address. The Ema chatbot redirects to a customer service mailbox. Human support has mentioned both the legal and the privacy departments, without either having offered a substantive response. Five email addresses for a single exercise of rights. Five channels that, in practice, lead nowhere.
What emerges from this sequence is not mere administrative disorder, but a possible overlap of roles between the clients directorate and the legal department, where a clients director has acted as the interlocutor on behalf of the legal team, issuing communications with direct legal effects on the data subject's sphere of rights, without it being possible to determine whether such action was taken under the effective supervision of the specialised department or outside it. This functional ambiguity gives rise to objective uncertainty regarding the decision-making chain and the proper segregation of responsibilities in the handling of data protection requests.
I wonder whether the Clients Director has informed Holafly's legal team of all the details of this case. Or whether, on the contrary, the legal team is making decisions without knowing the full file. I have no answer. Only a documented file and the observation that, after 152 days, corporate transparency remains an unresolved matter.

Very easy to use and has good rates!
Great service and easy to use
Great service and easy to use! Only little helpful trick would be to print off the QR code so that you can capture the link when you land at your destination & login through WiFi & connect to the eSIM.
I used Holafly on two trips
I used Holafly on two trips - California using a Google Pixel and in Canada using a Moto Edge. Both times I had zero issues and sometimes it was better than the Wifi available. The pricing is extremely competitive especially considering it's unlimited data - vital when using for navigation. The latest trip involved driving the Columbia Ice fields Parkway in Alberta to Jasper - for about 200km there's no phone coverage but it picked up with no issues when we were back in civilisation!
Holafly will never let you down
Holafly will never let you down. It's easy to use, reliable and you'll never have any connectivity problems abroad.
Easy to use and a great price
Easy to use and a great price . If you are going to Europe and need cell data service , Holafly works great
Unlimited Data in South Africa
I bought an eSIM for my 10-day holiday to South Africa. The connection was excellent, and so was the speed. It was comforting to know I had data for all eventualities on holiday. It was very easy to activate.
Best e sim on the market
Easy to purchase and install your e sim. Stable connection good speeds.
