Absolutely rubbish

Absolutely rubbish. Went to Italy enables the SIM had 5g but pages were loading sooooo slowly. Switched back to my regular Vodafone UK SIM and the same pages worked fine. It installed easily but was so painfully slow I didn't bother using. Waste of time

Holafly’s 24/7 support is worth its weight in data. Williams from tech support was prompt, patient, and knew exactly what he was doing. What was heading towards a technical doodle of confusion became a two-minute fix. Excellent service, excellent human. Give the man a raise.

Pray nothing goes wrong. AI “customer service”?

Buckle up everyone, this is a saga which I will condense into a short version just for you.

I have used Holafly a few times in the Middle East, France, no issues. Hence the 2 stars.
Latest trip to the Middle East? Here we go: the eSIM was all set up, working brilliantly, 6 days and unlimited data. Day 4 it just said: NOPE!! Now I’ll stop working for no reason at all.
NEXT STEP: Contacting the AI bots known as “customer support” was a new adventure - 14 messages of “have you read our setup guide”? Including broken links, requesting the same config and customers information I provided at least 3 times over and finally “escalating” to a new AI bot who kindly addressed me as “Traveller”. Personal service, bless.
I asked for a new sim to cover 2 days - big fat zip, nada, zero. I’m over it already, I am beaten up and defeated by a day of spotty internet, AI slop service and still no data on my phone.
What other providers are out there? Can’t be any worse..

And a phase 2 involved 2 more AU agents who “understand” my frustration. They don’t. And they still haven’t offered a new eSIM to cover 2 measly days. I’m now paying my own provider just to use data for these 48 hours.

My Refund with Holafly

I’ve been using their eSIM since 2024 across Europe, the Middle East, and the U.S., and it’s always worked great. I recently bought one for a Norway/Arctic trip but had to cancel due to a hospital stay. Holafly refunded me fully without any hassle. Their support team is always friendly and patient, and that’s why I keep choosing them ~ even sometimes I don’t really need unlimited coverage.
